Howdy folks, how are we doing? I'm over at Kingy's at the minute. You won't have seen this on my channel before but this is Muckers 2720 and indeed Muckers 7810. They're still here from the Patreon day he had end of October sort of time, third week of October I think it was. Yeah, second year he's done it. Very good. Raised quite a bit of cash for the Collies, the Collies charity that he supports. Yeah, thoroughly good day. So he bought his two tractors. The FW was there. Darren's TW was there. Look at how tidy she looks now. Get the blooming sun out of the equation. So tidy, so tidy. And talking entirely, that is what we're on today with the FW. So, remember, I think it was two years ago, we had the wheels off the TW, got them freshened up. Well, that's exactly what we're doing today with the FW. So, yeah, I've made the decision, I'm going to have them off, send them to DNS Factors, which is where the ones for the TW went. So, yeah, going to get everything moved out, get her stood on the... on the concrete and then add the wheels off so that they can be picked up and blasted and redone. So that is today's job, among a few others like. We're overcome with 80s, 90s design. All like proper, nicely designed tractors. Big long bonnets, straight lines, simple shapes, but they do look good. They do look very good. So yeah, we'll get these things fired up and moved out of the way. get her blocked up there it starts he's worried it wouldn't have started get muckers massy moved i'm gonna drop this uh set of times off as well for him so it's uh just when he picks his tractor up he's just gonna pick that you're gonna drop them off then we can get the uh fw out on the concrete um just here like so she's on a bit of concrete uh you definitely want a good base to um you know just drop them off obviously a bit of weight there all the wheels are coming off so you really you don't want one bit sinking so uh yeah i like these uh the wheel nuts wheel bolts even because they're bolts not nuts uh come out all right we can hope try it yeah where's the stop oh hold it there okay that's in that's in got your clutch down oh is it gonna go hey don't know oh come on you should have left that going that sounds very nice all right let's get it out of the way we're going for a cold start oh george that's not worked out overly well then that's a disappointment you didn't pick those batteries up did you no have you got a jump starter Darren's trying to electrocute himself. Just realised we've got a broken terminal. One broken terminal and that one's loose as well so that's really not helping. Press the button. Now Noko should, especially if you hold that. Well it ain't flat is it so it should recognise. Yeah that's running, that's ready to go. Right you're going to have to do the... I've got to do everything. I'm going to put you over here. We'll put you down the floor here. Should start now, bit of luck. That's better, we'll get a move now. There's a bit of water out. Oh. Yeah, that's where we had that storm the other night. I bet it's blown down the exhaust. No wonder it rocks the bottom of them exhausts out. I don't know, you can't see it. Do you not see it? I'll probably not see it. No, because the sun's... You might see it on video, but it's probably hard to see it. Hell of a jack, mate, innit? What's the specs on this jack, do you know? Eight tonne. Eight tonne lift, lot? Yeah. High lift and all, though, innit, lot? Very high. Yeah, yeah. Just in the workshop, it goes nearly vertical. Oh, does it? Blimey. Yeah, lovely bit of kit, mate. Stuff like that makes jobs like this so much easier, doesn't it, lot? It's easier than a bottom jack. Yeah, exactly. There's me standing here filming, you're doing all the... Yeah, I'll come down here on Sunday for a couple of takes. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she's climbing up. Look at that. How heavy is this? I guess this front end's about eight ton. So we're probably on the mark. I'm going to lift one side more than the other, I think. Can't we? I would assume so. Both sides are still going up. Are they? Yeah. I think we may have reached as much as we can do with that, Jack. Why's that? Nothing's happening. Oh, is it so good enough? I think you're... Oh, we've exceeded the eight tonnes? Yes. Oh, really? Yeah, just stroke it again. Yeah, well, I think it's bypassing now. Yeah? Oh, yeah. Oh, fuck. So you're going to have to... We can just go on the chassis rail here. What, with the bottle jack? Or, go a bit further under. The chassis rail's a lot lower there. What I think? The axle stand in front of it? Yeah, on the axle. That'll give us room to still put the axle stand in, I should think, wouldn't it? Strong enough? Yeah, it's part of the chassis, isn't it, like, so. Okay. It's the only problem, isn't it? You've got to try and put axle stands under as well. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, then the other option is, like I say, bottle jack and just block it up here or something, like, do one side at a time, but try that. Just drop it down a bit and see if you can... Just do that one corner? Yeah, see if you can go on that side. We'll pop this stand in and we'll try it then, like. That is a good 8 tonne, well that shows, I bet this is 8 and a bit I should think. Maybe then. Because it's about 12 and a half to 13 tonne. This jack isn't very old, so I'm assuming it's reasonably accurately rated. Blimey, 180kg. You don't want to even lift it in and out too many ways, do you? It weighs a lot. You know what, George? What? Yes, it's built by Stiger. This is? It's a Stoiger, yeah. Is it? It's not turning. No, it's just stuck. I want a sledge. I always love a stuck wheel. One thing I didn't bring with me was my hydraulic port-a-pack because I have jacked wheels off before that are stuck on the hub. Let's try hitting on. right can't get off with a sledge i've dropped it down as far as i dare back onto the tire with no bolts in because sometimes that'll pop them off um but since i've got no tire on the other side i don't really want to go too far so that's out i didn't bring me 10 tonne porter porter pack hydraulic hydraulic pack with me so we're down to a 12 tonne hydraulic bottle jack Well, it should work as long as we can get it in. The first wheel we had off was not, it literally just fell off. So I wasn't really expecting. But I should have brought me a port-a-pack. But this will get you out of trouble using one of these. So just right on the rim there. We've got it started on the rim. Hopefully now we can't. Hopefully now we can go on in there. There we go. We'll just jack off the chassis rail. That'll just pop, he says. Have we moved or not? I don't know. Yes, we have moved, but I think it's going to fight us all the way. I'm going to go underneath now and see if I can sledge the bottom out. Yes, that has broke. It hasn't popped it. It's going to fight us all the way, I think. So we'll jack a bit, then we'll hit a bit. Hopefully that'll do the job. Don't forget where Matt's come. He's come in. Look, he's chucking at me. Moved it. Yeah, I've just got to come this side now and pop the other side. That has gone. Fairly rusty, isn't it? Yeah. That's used to being on there, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, it's funny that the other one just dropped off. I was not expecting that. The other one, though, has got the green paint in it. That was tight. Really tight. So tight in fact that we bent the rim getting it off. We had a 12 tonne bottle jack one side, a 20 tonne the other side. Had the acetylene out. Just to heat the inner rim up. And that finally did it as well as hitting the rim. Oh man, it's been a while since I've had a rim that tight. Yeah, we had bent it a little bit. I can't see it now because it's that one. they're like but um uh dns factors um is where the rules are going to be shot blasted and not painted powder coated um yeah they'll soon straighten that back up again like so yeah i mean they're not bad these wheels are not bad but they've got you know all these scratches in them in that light and just makes them look untidy so a bit like the tw was and um you know when the tw wheels come back just transforms the tractor the same as when these come back um freshly uh i'm gonna say better freshly painted a lot it will transform it a lot um yeah so there's uh there's a few other jobs to do for an hour ginge uh ginger gene the ginger genius is actually getting on with the exhaust stack uh to replace that with a new stainless system um the lights are getting upgraded to utv lights i've already actually um just show you there you go i've got one well actually i'm not gonna lie darren was uh testing that um the other day the fit in there it's a little bit loose because these are not these are quite an unusual uh light housing but with a little bit of packing that'll sit in there that'll treat you know and then i'll actually have some light on the front rather than candles These spotlights, and these are actually spotlights that come on with the main beam, 5 watts. That's all that's powering them, little spotlights, 5 watts. So, yeah, you two are on the case at the minute looking at doing this type of housing in a work-stroke spotlight because they're all the same. Yes, they're obviously flush-mounted into the grille, but this is all the same sort of lens as that light. So it'll look nice if you can keep the housing, But put LED units in there. The other option is, obviously, for all the wing-mounted work lights, is just to put some normal UTV ovals, rounds, whatever, square, rectangular lights on there. Which I'm not averse of doing, but it would be nice just to keep the original housings. So, yeah. Other than that, oh, service kit. Got a service kit for it. so all the fills will get done on her um all the oils dropped out and everything like that and i'm gonna look at doing these hubs um because obviously with the new wheels on there like these will stand out like sore thumbs so i need to clean them up it's not the best time of year like to be painting the painting outside but at least get you know get a coat on there just so that um you know they'll probably scratch up a bit when refitting the wheels but because they're a big old hub like you know but it would certainly be easier just to spray it and then if there's some you know some touch-ups need to do when the wheels are back on that's far easier so yeah there we go that's how far we've got got more Algae Technica video to show you because I went to the effort of filming tons and tons and tons of interesting stuff so I'm going to keep putting them out There's a lot of interesting stuff there. Like I said, a lot of you are unable to go and a lot of the very nice comments you've been making is that it's nice to... It's almost like going around the show, George. Which is what we try to do. If you can't go, you can get a little flavour of what the show's like. But yeah, so there we go anyway. uh we're getting there with the llama 2026 prep um yeah always never it's never really nice looking at them sat on uh axle stands and blocks of wood at the back but it's not going anywhere not unless it gets hit if it gets backed into or something and yeah maybe she'll end up on the floor but we're like that's not an issue anyway uh yeah i enjoyed that video cheers to darren for giving us a hand he's always a useful old boy I'll see you on the next one. Ta-ta!
