  2. Problem probing –

Booked calls

Instagram

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X.

This is going to be the ultimate guide you're ever going to need on signing high-ticket clients using Instagram cold outreach. And everywhere you look and everyone you talk to is going to tell you that Instagram cold DMs don't work anymore. And to that, I say, that is a bunch of horse sh**. Because if that were true, explain to me how is it possible that every single day, both myself and our clients are waking up with dozens, if not at this point, probably hundreds. of positive responses to direct openers stating our offer interested in finding out more so these are just a few that you're seeing on the screen but if we go on our company website this is a never-ending scroll of hundreds and hundreds of positive qualified responses we are getting every single day responses like tell me more please send it over yes i'm open to hearing how it works got a loom on it right and i cannot stress enough these are not responses to things like hey mr prospect how are you these are responses to openers like hey mr prospect we can help you book more qualified appointments are you interested in learning more right and as you can see it's just a never-ending scroll right i can keep going no problem tell me more Hi, Giovanni. Sure, send it over, right? Now, here's the thing. We can both agree, me and you, these positive responses, as good as they are, they're not going to fill our bank accounts. So then what we need to do is we need a process for converting a percentage of those positive responses, typically anywhere from 5% to 20%, into qualified sales calls on our calendar. And then a percentage of those qualified sales calls on our calendar into high ticket paying clients. And that's exactly what I'm going to be walking you through in this video. So here's what you're going to be getting in this free guide. I'm going to show you. first of all how to set up accounts so which accounts to use how to optimize them how to warm them up then i'm going to show you how to scrape filter enrich thousands and thousands of leads these are going to be the tools and software you're going to be needing when it comes to scraping leads that you're eventually going to reach out to Then I'm going to show you how to send high personalized DMs to maximize response rates. I'm going to show you how to turn DMs into sales calls. So I'm going to show you scripts. I'm going to show you frameworks to turn a percentage of these positive DMs that we can then make an offer to and converting to clients. Then this is arguably the most important part. I'm going to get you to understand key performance indicators when it comes to Instagram outreach. So I'm going to show you what KPIs to track, industry standards, variables that you need to look out for. And then as well as that, how to get to industry standards. kpis if not higher and finally i'm also excited to show you three proprietary strategies that we personally created using ai to scale to more than 1000 dms every single day now before i start please use the tools please use the strategies i'm walking you through at your own risk and always be in compliance with the platform's terms of services and then as well as that results may vary based on your niche based on your offer and based on the execution quality so this is going to take relentless excellence let's get started the only thing this is going to cost you is a like on this video so if you haven't already leave a like on this video so The very first thing we're going to be setting up is your Instagram account. So Instagram uses a trust score for every account. And the higher your trust score, the more DMs you can send without getting flagged. Now, this trust score is based on millions of factors and literally no one knows all of them, to be honest. But these are what I believe the key for that you need to optimize to make sure that your account can send the most DMs without getting restricted. So the first one we're going to be optimizing is account age. The older an Instagram account is, the more trusted it is with the algorithm. right quality and quantity of followers this is really important obviously an account that has zero followers has less trust than an account that has a thousand two thousand ten thousand followers as well as that the quality of the followers are the followers bought and even when they're bought how quality are the followers that you bought so real followers or as close as possible to real are a strong signal to the algorithm that you're a real human phone verification this is really important as well and this is whether the account is pv8 and this one is important as well which number was actually used to verify the account. So did you use a real phone number from a real phone carrier or did you just use a virtual phone number? Big difference. And then finally, previous account violations. So any past bans, any past restrictions, whatever it is, even if they have nothing to do with cold DMs, will obviously affect your trust score with the algorithm. Now that you understand how this trust score works, we can come to the conclusion that we need aged accounts. But then the question becomes, should you create or should you buy aged accounts? So this is the question everyone asks when doing Instagram outreach. Created, obviously that just means you create the account yourself using a device you own. Whereas bought, you just buy it from a third party website and or vendor. Now there are four types of accounts you can possibly access. New created accounts, new bought accounts. Aged created accounts and aged bought accounts. So a new created account costs you $0, right? This is you just signing up on your phone, on your browser. It's not reliant on outside vendors. So you're fully in control of the entire supply chain, which is really good. However, it takes way more time to warm up because it's not aged. And it's also way easier to get disabled, right? Because new accounts, as you know, they don't have that age. They don't have that trust score. So Instagram is much more likely to ban them. then we've got a new board account this is probably the worst out of all of them this is just silly to be honest i don't know why you would buy a new account if you really need a new account just make it right the only positive i would say to buy new accounts is if you want to scrape a bunch of leads at once and the way you're going to be scraping leads is obviously going to get a lot of accounts banned you could probably just buy a bunch of new accounts they're typically very cheap you can get them for just a few dollars just to scrape the leads you need and then just move on with your day so you can use it for things like split testing maybe if you're split testing on open or maybe if you're split testing some sort of dm workflow or again just for lead scraping now we move on to aged and there are two types of aged accounts now the very best case scenario is an aged created account obviously it costs you zero dollars since you just created it it's not reliant on outside vendors since again you probably just created it a few years ago It is way quicker to warm up and start sending DMs as opposed to a new account. And then as well as that, since you've likely been using it, trust is already built with the algorithm. Finally, we've got an aged bought account. Now, again, comparing an aged account to a new account, it is way quicker to warm up, to set up and start sending DMs because the trust is already there. however the difference with buying an aged account as opposed to just having one is first of all obviously it costs money and typically the more aged it is the more money it costs the seller might try to scam you so this is something you also need to be careful for but don't worry i'm going to give you some general best practices to protect yourself and then accounts may already be flagged so this is something you also need to watch out for when buying accounts so now that we understand the four possible types of accounts you can access the question becomes which one And if you look at the quadrant, the answer is pretty obvious. An aged created account is by far the best option. However, you likely don't have many of those. Right. So typically this is just your main account if you have it. But as we've already established, we don't actually want to use your main account because if it gets banned, you're likely losing your following, your audience, your content and all those sorts of things. So what I like to do on Instagram is I've got my main account. I keep its purity. And the only way I use Instagram. in terms of lead generation for my main account is by posting content posting stories and then attracting inbound dms where prospects reach out to me first however i've also got many outreach accounts where i'm actually the one reaching out to the prospect first now here are the two options i would recommend for you if you have more time than money what i would suggest is suck it up i know it's uncomfortable i know it'll take a few weeks and create the accounts and warm them up yourself age them they only need to be aged for two to three weeks until you can at the very minimum start sending dms this will cost you zero dollars and give you real assets right and the beautiful thing about outreach accounts that you create is over time they're just going to get more aged and build more trust with the algorithm now if you have money and you actually have more money than time so you're prioritizing just speed getting out there as soon as possible and starting to send dms then i would suggest just buy five to ten aged accounts now don't worry i know you're probably thinking you know five to ten aged accounts i can barely send any dms with that don't worry later in the video i'm also going to show you how to scale this up so you can actually send thousands of dms every single day right volume negates luck you will still need to warm them up exactly like you would if you were just creating them but it will typically take way less time to build that trust with the algorithm so first of all best practices if you decide to create an account always create it on your phone never created on your desktop. All right. Why? Because Instagram is a mobile app. It is built to be used on a phone, right? That's how humans use it. Instagram is designed to be installed and used on your phone. Most real users create an account and use Instagram on their phone. So obviously it's not the end of the world if you create it on a desktop, right? But it does affect your trust score a little bit because a normal user would be using Instagram on their phone. Now, during the sign up, you want to use a real phone number and a real email address. Do not use virtual numbers, for example, Google Voice, because what happens is Instagram cross references their database with telecom databases to verify whether the number is legit. So this is for phone numbers. Same thing with email addresses. Do not use a temporary email address. Always use a real one, even if it's as simple as a Gmail account that will do just fine. Now, best case scenario, you've got both email and phone number. But if you had to choose one, the algorithm puts more trust on an account with a phone number than with an email. Do not use a public VPN. This is really important as well. If you have an undetectable unique VPN. So I know there are some VPNs out there that give you unique one of one IP addresses. if they do that that's usually fine but otherwise if the vpn you're using is public do not create an instagram account using it it is just a red flag for the algorithm right and if you're not sure if your ip address is clean i've left some websites here so you can just click on this link so what's my ip address ip fighter and what you want to look out for on these websites is whether the ip address is blacklisted and whether it shows as a proxy finally it's also really important that you immediately finish the setup so as soon as you create the account you put the number in you put the email in you put the username the name the last thing you should do is just leave it there. Because what Instagram does is Instagram checks just how quickly new accounts complete their profile. And usually if they notice that you just create a profile and it's completely empty, that is a huge bot signal for mass action. And Instagram assumes that most of the time an empty profile means you're just another one of those bots. So they're more likely to ban you. So what I would suggest is instantly after account creation, you set everything up, you add a profile picture, you add a bio, you add a backup email. and backup phone number. And don't worry, in a second, I'll show you how to optimize your outreach accounts to get the highest possible response rate. Now, if you decide to buy instead, here's what I would suggest. So first of all, minimum three years aged. What I would suggest is if you're going to buy age, go for three to seven years. Now, if you're not sure, if you don't trust the vendor, you can simply just say, hey, can you send me a screenshot of the account creation? And if they're a legit company, they're going to go ahead and do that for you. Now, this one's a little controversial. Most people are going to tell you against this. But what I would suggest is don't buy accounts that are too aged. So typically, I don't like to buy accounts that are more than seven years aged. Again, this is where most people who are beginners to Instagram outreach, they will tell you things like, oh, yeah, the more aged, the better. Wrong. Do not listen to those people. And here's why. After seven years or so, what we found is there's diminishing returns. First of all, the accounts get way too expensive to buy because they're rarer. And second of all, warming up these accounts actually becomes a lot harder because there's diminishing returns. And it's actually a red flag if there's an account that's been sitting there for, say, 10 years. And then suddenly you log in and you start blasting DMs. Next up, this is probably the most important out of all of them. And trust me, I've learned this the hard way when I was first starting out. avoid sending crypto so crypto transactions are not reversible you can't just call a bank and be like oh yeah they scammed me and again this is coming from someone who's learned this the hard way so just i'm trying to save you some money here always go for a reversible payment so these are things like debit or credit cards paypal wise stripe right another good one is payoneer but always make sure it is a reversible payment okay now last guideline when buying gaged accounts You want the original email address. This is crucial. What can happen is the original owner who's selling that account to you, they can actually sign back in. So this story comes to mind. In the past, what we did is we bought aged accounts, we set them up for one of our clients, and then we started the campaign for them. And all of a sudden we checked an inbox and we noticed that the client is suddenly speaking Russian and it's an entire new offer. and we actually messaged them we're like is this you because i thought maybe they changed their offer they didn't tell us and they were just as confused they thought it was us and then it turns out we did a little bit of investigation and it turns out the previous owner who sold us those accounts had the original email address and then because of that they were still able to access it and obviously we stopped using that vendor so always make sure the original email address is in if the original email address is a temp mail run. So this means that the person creating the account likely just created it using a bot, using a farm, right, which is a massive red flag from the get go to the Instagram algorithm. Again, when it comes to that trust score that we were talking about earlier. And this is one of those things that, again, if you're not sure, if you want to be safe, you can just ask the vendor, hey, can you show me proof that this is the original email address? And they're going to go ahead and do that, right? Or maybe if they don't, you can just run. so you understand how to buy aged accounts now the question is how much should you actually pay for them now the market rates always change because of supply and demand right there's basic economics but these are the general guidelines that i've been using and they've been working fine for me so there are three variables that you need to consider number one the actual account so to be honest an account is actually worthless on its own i would say it's between zero to one dollars the two variables that you actually want to look out for is value per age and value per follower so you should aim for around five dollars per hdr and then $10 per 1,000 followers, okay? So let me give you a few examples. Let's say you're trying to buy an account that's two years aged with 1,000 followers. That's going to be around $20. So $5 times two years make up the first $10, and then the other $10 is for the 1,000 followers. Three years aged with 3,000 followers, you can do the math. Five years aged with 5,000 followers, around $75, and so on. so you've bought the accounts it's finally time to send dms i'm just kidding because before you send the dm you need to actually optimize your profile to maximize the amount of responses that you get so when someone gets your dm the very first thing they're going to do is they're going to click your profile if they view your dm they're going to click your profile before they even respond and you have roughly five seconds ten if you're lucky to either convince them you're legit or you're not and the way you do that is by having an optimized profile so let's pretend i'm sending outreach i've got these two accounts i'm about to show you which one do you think i'm more likely to get a response from if i message you from an account like this or if i message you from an account like this right obviously it's the second option and by the way we've actually done the split test this one performs quite literally at about a three to five x so if this one generates 10 positive responses this one generates 30 to 50 right it is that important and it's only something you need to set up once and then that's it so talk about leverage so here's how we go about optimizing your aged accounts so first of all your username and your name i would suggest your name or as close as possible to your name obviously your name may be used for your main account so obviously on my main account that i'm not using for outreach i've got my full name so what have i done on this outreach account i've named it my full name giovanni cristiano but i've taken away the i at the end there right so that's an example of me naming this account as close as possible to my name now another thing i could also do is my first name plus a keyword relating to my industry so for example for me it would be geo growth giovanni scales Now, another thing, this is small, but I found that it increases response rate is keeping your actual tag clean. This means no underscores, no random numbers. The most you can do is you can do a dot. We found that that works well, but anything past that, there's diminishing returns. So that's how you go about with the username and the name. The name, by the way, is just your full name. That's fine. Or you can do full name and then you can do a slash and then what you do. So for example, Giovanni Cristiano slash B2B outreach. Don't put your company logo. People want to talk to humans. They don't want to talk to logos, okay? Your bio, what I would suggest, pretty straightforward, who you help, how you help them, and a tangible outcome, okay? Now, I've seen what some people do is for outreach accounts, they do main at. I would suggest actually against this because to the prospect, they actually have their guard up and know it's an outreach account, which means you actually get less positive responses. So I just don't like to do that. I like to position each outreach account as if it was my main website links, clean URL. I would suggest redirect to some sort of organic funnel. This is the beautiful thing about hybrid acquisition, which is what my company specializes in. So combining outbound, inbound and paid ads all in one. right so clean url redirect to organic content this can be school this can be youtube this can be your website this will be good for retargeting also so another advanced strategy we can do i'm not going to cover in this video but i do have videos on it on my channel which is you can have a lead from cold outreach and then once they click on any sort of link that you have you can actually pixel them and then send them retargeting ads right so again that's a perfect example of synergy and the hybrid acquisition model the only thing i would try avoid with your website link is long links that seem spammy your posts what i would actually suggest is post reels treat it like your main account right 9 to 12 high quality posts mix of reels mix of pictures right obviously avoid unprofessional photos just act professional this is a business account okay i trust you know what you're doing your highlights Client results are going to be the most important. If you have any, if you don't have any, that's fine. Use your own results as well. And if you don't have neither your results or client results, right? I made another video that's called how to get a client when you don't have a client and I'll leave it in the description to be honest. But to summarize that video, you need to work for free until you have at least one result. because you need results they are just that important right so for example here as you can see i've got two full highlights of client results so i have a highlight full of youtube videos with the url that the prospect can actually click and once again get redirected to youtube for that organic nurturing right that hybrid acquisition and then a final touch i like to do is just some live photos so this shows you're human again this doesn't need to be anything unprofessional it could just be you eating out you going for a walk, in nature, at the gym, whatever it is, right? So that's highlights. Now, what I would suggest as well is actually buy followers and buy views, okay? If you're doing outreach, the more followers you have, the more likely you are to get a response. First of all, because you seem more legit. And second of all, because quite literally in the message request, the person who has the most followers goes all the way at the top. Now, if this is your main account, of course, don't buy followers because he actually messes you up when you're trying to grow an organic audience. But with outreach accounts, that is perfectly fine. If you do buy followers, you also want to make sure you buy high quality ones, ideally with a profile picture with a few photos in each profile, and you want to aim for never dropping. So obviously that means the followers don't actually drop or if they do, it's not a significant amount to affect you. Again, do not do this on your main Instagram account. On your main Instagram account, you want to grow organically and generate inbound leads as well as that you can buy views as well. So obviously if you have 10,000 followers, you bought these followers, but you don't buy the views that go along with it. then it looks a little suspicious to your prospects so what i would suggest is buy the views to go along with it this is if you're posting reels on an outreach account so i like to go for about 20 of the amount of followers bought so for example if i'm buying 10 000 followers and i'm posting reels i want at least 2 000 views on every single reel right For likes, I like to go at about 10% as well. And once again, if you're interested in buying followers and buying likes, you want to look for websites that sell organic likes. If you don't, you're going to accidentally buy bot likes and that's probably going to hurt you even more than just not having likes in the first place. So that's how you go about optimizing your account. What I would suggest is do this trust test. This literally takes five minutes and it's going to give you a lot of leverage. Just go ahead and show it to three random people. It can be your friends. It can be your employees, right? Maybe you can show this to your appointment setter, your client. closer and then just ask them if this person DMs you, would you trust them? This will take you a few minutes, but it's always good to have a fresh perspective on whether your account looks good or not. Moving on, we want to find the highest quality leads on Instagram. Instagram has billions and billions of users, but obviously we only want the ones that you can help. So before we talk tools and software, understand the four main places your leads hang out. So number one, they hang out in your competitor followers. So these are going to be users who follow your competitors. So let's say you help people start a YouTube channel. If there is at least one other person in the world that helps people start and grow their YouTube channel, bang, there's a competitor. Just go through their followers and there's your leads. Hashtag followers, users who follow or post a specific hashtag. location based users this is good if you're selling locally so if you're doing things like ai agents ai receptionist this is probably your best bet so these are users who share they are from or at a specific location and then post engages this is powerful as well because these leads are actively on instagram so these are users who engage leave likes leave comments with a specific post so before you scrape anything i'm going to show you how to scrape both manually and automated but before you scrape anything you need to define your icp okay who actually are they how old are they what's their pain point right what do they look like they have for breakfast we're getting detailed here right i'm just playing with you the last one's a joke okay but write everything down for example e-commerce brand owners doing 50 to 100k a month based in english speaking countries which specialize in physical products right just for context i have a 10 page google doc of my icp this is how serious you want to take it the more detailed the better so let's start with manual lead filtering So, yes, there are tools, there are software that automate lead scraping, and I'm going to show you all of them. Relax, hold your horses. But you want to start manually. OK, you need to do this, by the way, for your own sake. And here's why you need to do this. Picture this scenario. Your ICP doesn't use hashtags. Instead, they follow your competitors. So that's where they hang out. But you don't know this because. You didn't listen to me. So I'm telling you, do manual lead filtering and you're saying, no, I'm too good for this. Just show me the AI, show me the website so you don't listen. So you think manual lead filtering takes too long and you go straight to automations. Then you start scraping based on hashtags instead of competitors, right? Remember, UICP, they don't use hashtags, but you don't know that because you didn't do manual lead filter. So you're not scraping properly. All your leads are unqualified. you come back to this video you leave a dislike because you're not happy i'm sad you're sad we're both sad okay or just trust me listen to me on this one and find leads manually so here are the four ways you find the leads manually competitor followers find five ten competitors go on the instagram profile and click their follow account literally just find key hashtags in your industry find the person posting it and there's your list location based users you want to search for the location on instagram click places and then look at posts from that location post engages you find the post such as one of your competitors you go through the likes on it and then you go through the comments on it so once you do all four you're going to get a list of users and then for each one you're going to open the profile of a potential lead you're going to verify that they match your icp and you should be able to do this because you my friend have done market research so you've done this let's have a look you've done this so you actually understand everything about who you help and then if they are your icp You just copy their username and you put it on a Google sheet. Now, if you did this correctly, I will warn you, first of all, this is going to take you a few hours, but you only need to do it once. And the leverage you get from it is understanding exactly where your ICP hangs out. So a general guideline, you should have 100 leads from each. So 100 from competitors, 100 from hashtags, 100 from location based users. You can skip this one if your ICP is international. So for example, if I help agency owners, they don't necessarily need to be from where I live. Okay. And then 100 leads from post engages. So all you're going to do is you're going to make a Google sheet that looks something like this that you're seeing on the right. You're going to fill it up with leads and then you're going to send the DMs. And what you're looking for here is you're looking to see which ones get the most engagement. Okay. Then you'll know which ones to automatically scrape from. So for example, if you send 100 DMs to leads from your competitors and you're getting a 10% response rate, whereas you're getting a 2% response rate from hashtags, obviously you're doubling down on your competitors. And the only way you would know such data is if you actually do what I'm talking about here. So once you've done this, it is now time to scale with automated lead scraping. Now, just quickly, Instagram's terms of service prohibits scraping. So act at your own caution. And once again, it's best to actually not use your main account, as I've already said. use burner accounts that you're okay losing so for us we don't actually even use outreach accounts we use burner accounts which are specifically just for lead scraping lead filtering accounts that we know are likely going to get banned but that's okay because they serve their purpose and they actually allow us to access thousands of high quality leads. So again, act at your own risk, but I'll walk you through a few softwares when it comes to Instagram lead scraping. So the first one is this Chrome extension. So IG email extractor. This is the cheapest one for beginners. It's around $20 or so. Some extensions like this one can also give out emails and phone numbers, which allows you to do something known as multi outreach. So for example, what you can do is you can DM them on Instagram, but you can follow up with email and all of this increases your response rate, right? so very straightforward this one you just click on it add to chrome here you sign in again i would suggest burner accounts and you just follow the instructions pretty straightforward and you can begin scraping leads next up we've got phantom buster now this one is going to be a little more expensive it's going to be 50 to 100 relative to what you're getting it's trump change right you can set up your first scraping quite literally under 10 minutes next up we've got apify now apify unlike the other ones has a different tier which is pay as you go so the good thing about this is that it allows you to test lead quality without committing so for example with a platform like phantom buster if you want to scrape enough leads you have to pay no matter what but then you run the risk of purchasing the software and you scrape leads that aren't engaging they're not responding but obviously you've already paid for the software whereas apify because it's a paper lead you can test lead quality for a very low amount and then you can only scale if you're actually realize that the leads are engaging another beautiful thing about apify as well is that it doesn't actually need your instagram account like most others so it saves you the hassle of buying burner accounts now finally this one's a little different this one is called in grammar just like apify this one doesn't need your instagram account which is really good as it already comes with a pre-built database and the beautiful thing about in grammar right this is something that i haven't found in most scrapers is that you can actually scrape by filters like keywords and even nations right so check out how powerful this is i'll go on it let's go tools and then we'll go profile search and then what i can do is i can come down here to keyword or username and i can literally search up agency and i can even go as far as filtering by country so for example let's say i'm working with australian agencies i'll just go ahead go keyword agency go australia and then press find right and then the tool is going to look in its database and it's going to return a bunch of leads so for example here we've got 2488 leads that fit this criteria now if you do use influx you also need to do a little bit of lead filtering so for example if i just search up agency this could come up with agencies that have nothing to do with who i help so it could come up with things like modeling agencies fashion agencies obviously i help marketing agencies which are very very different so here's my recommended road map to you if you do decide to scrape leads so the first week what i would suggest is manual scraping using the four manual ways so everything i told you here you do the google sheet you send the dms this is what i would suggest to you you found the winner out of the four ways as to where your icp hangs out you can move on to automated lead scraping and what i would suggest is use a free or very cheap chrome extension ideally by this point you've signed a client or two and you have a little bit more money to invest I would suggest them to go into the big boy platforms like Phantom Buster, Apify, or Ingrammar. And once again, just like everything else, you actually want to test. So you can even test which platform actually gives you the highest quality leads, right? Now let's move on to AI assisted lead filtering. So once you have your V1 Google Sheet, you will notice something. Around 70 to 80% of the leads you scrape, they're going to be unqualified. They could be someone who's not in your industry. So I help B2B companies. If you're selling in e-com, if you're selling in crypto, if you're selling in trading, obviously I can't help you, right? So for example, let's say you scrape from a competitor and you just see a random profile that has no bio, has no posts, has no nothing. Likely, they're just friends. They're just a family member of the competitor you're scraping from, right? They're financially unqualified, clearly from a third world country. Obviously, there are exceptions to this rule, but more often than not, you're not going to be able to help these people. and then they're not the right title so let's say you're scraping someone you're looking for CEOs but then you scrape a CFO obviously you're not going to be able to help them there are many more things that could disqualify a lead right so if you start sending DMs to these kind of leads it will take you hours more to filter through and actually get positive responses like I showed you at the start of the video booked calls and signed clients which is why once we have our leads what we need to do is we need to filter and we need to enrich them so here's the three steps to lead filtering so the very first thing we're going to do is we're going to do automated filtering and this is going to be with chat gpt i'll show you how in a second we're going to use ai to clean up 90 of the leads then we're going to do manual filtering so this is where a human ideally a va but if you don't have one or you can't afford one this can be you at the start A human goes through the 10% remaining and makes sure nothing slips through. Then you want to remove all duplicate leads. And then once you're done with those three steps, you want to put them in a Google Drive folder and have them ready to go. Now for this to work and ChatGPT to actually filter the leads properly, you need a scraper that scrapes the bio. Okay, so for example, if we check this Google Sheet, the O column is the bio. Then very simple, you download your Google Sheet. You open ChatGPT, you upload your Google Sheet. Now, I would suggest I've tested it. Don't go above 10,000 leads or else ChatGPT starts glitching a little bit. And then what you do is you want to write the following prompt I'm about to show you. So this one here. Then ChatGPT is going to go through each lead one by one. It's going to spit out a new Google Sheet. You download it and you upload it on Google Drive, right? So this is the prompt. This is just a template. So you actually do need to customize this to your offer. By the way, you can get this gamma. You can check out the link in the description. But all you want to do is if you grab this gamma, right, you copy it, you go and charge it with you and you adjust a few things, right? So for example, for me, this would be we help ITK agencies or B2B companies who make more than $5,000 a month, generating more qualified sales calls using a hybrid acquisition system, right? And then following keywords. So for me, I would be looking for things like agency, B2B, scaling, a specific CTA if your ICP has one, right? So for example, if you're targeting e-com, a specific CTA could be buy our product. right? Specific websites. So for example, for me, my ICP, some websites that they could have is YouTube, Calendly, a link to their school community, a link to their WAP, right? Automatic disqualifiers, right? So typically if they work for someone else, so if they're a closer, if they're a setter, if they're an editor, if they're an assistant, I don't like to message them. They're from a third world country. And then for us, what we do is if they have more than 200,000 followers, I actually disqualified them as they likely already flooded with DMs. They may never get our message, right? This one is for us. So once again, if you need someone with a bunch of followers, let's say you're helping influencers, for example, you can get rid of this one, right? And then the instructions, you want to leave as they are. Now, here's some troubleshooting. If ChachiBT asks with column matching, what I like to do is I just respond with make your best guess. If ChachiBT says, hey, can I send you a sample? You just agree. And then you ask it for a full list. Again, if you need this prompt, you can download the gamma in the description. So by this point, the beautiful thing about AI is that you've been very, very leveraged as AI has done 90% of the work for you. Now, for the last 10%, what you're going to do is you're going to make sure that ChachiBT didn't mark leads with the wrong color. So what's supposed to happen is within the prompt, ChatGPT is going to give a lead a color. So green if they're qualified, red if they're unqualified, and then yellow if they're not sure and they need your manual input. So all you're going to do is you're going to quickly skim through and make sure ChatGPT didn't make any mistakes. So for example, putting a perfectly fine lead as red or putting a clearly disqualified lead as green. So we have built out an SOP on how to go about doing this. I'm not going to bore you. Either yourself or a virtual assistant can do this. Once again, you can download this doc if you want to implement it. So I'm just going to click on it. to show you quickly, right? But it's a step-by-step process. Okay, so there it is. Again, you can just download this comma, send it to your VA, follow the instructions. It's pretty straightforward. So now we've got the leads. They've been scraped. They're actually clean. They're actually your ICP. Now it's time to come up with high quality DMs. So before messaging each prospect, we need to find something unique about them. If we don't, the following thing will happen when we send our openness. Number one, we're going to get less response rate because you sound like everyone else. And then number two, as well as that, you're likely also going to get banned because Instagram's algorithm can just see your copying and pasting. So this is why earlier on I mentioned we need the bio. This is going to help us not just with lead filtering, but also with coming up with high quality personalized openness. And I'll show you how. So for ourselves and our clients, we've actually built out a GBT called Hira AI. Hira can come up with an ultra personalized AI opener. But all you want to do is you want to input the leads row. So it's going to be very raw data, right? So it's literally going to look something like this. But again, don't worry, Hira understands. And then this is an example of a Hira we built out for our clients who specializes in generating more leads, right? Once it comes up with the output, obviously you want to do some quick QC. For example, you want to make sure you remove hyphens. You just quickly go over any tweaks that need to be done and then you just go ahead and send it, right? The main thing, the most important thing as I zoom out here, give me a second, is that you add something unique to the prospect for every DM you're sending. Now hold your horses. I know you're very excited. You likely just want to send the DMs, but let me hold you right there. You want to spend the first seven days actually sending a total of zero DMs, even if your account is aged. During these seven days, you're just going to act like a human. You're going to scroll. You're going to leave likes. You're going to follow people. You're going to just avoid doing too much, okay? Otherwise, your account is going to get disabled. And then what you can do is after the seven days, this is also important as well, is you need to gradually work your way up to the account's limit. So if you go the first seven days, you send zero DMs, and then day eight, you send 50 DMs a day, obviously, you're going to get banned. So let's say it's a new account. You've just created it. The safe zone is anything from 30 to 50 DMs a day. If it's an established account, you want to aim for 50 to 70 DMs a day. Anything above 70, again, you're risking it. Now, with an aged account, you can typically do a lot more. You can go 50 to 100 DMs a day safely. But once again, even aged accounts have their own limits. So anything above 100, this is where you're getting in the risky territory. Now, you might be thinking, okay, Gio, where did you spawn these numbers from? Because here's the thing. Instagram doesn't actually like to publish official limits because otherwise people can exploit them. Again, you can take it or leave it, but this is just what we found from testing thousands of accounts. Also, as I've already said, you never want to go from zero to full. So you don't want to go from zero to 30 to 50, but gradually, okay? So for example, day one, 10 DMs. Day two, 20 DMs. Day three, 30 DMs. Now, unfortunately, no matter how safe you're going to be, I need you to look them in the eyes, okay? You are 100% going to get accounts restricted. you are 100% going to get accounts shadow banned. You are going to 100% get accounts disabled, okay? This is a fact of life if you're doing outreach. You cannot prevent it. What you can do is these two things. Number one, you reduce how often it happens. So I'm going to give you a few guidelines on how to avoid this happening. or you reduce how much it matters to you. And what do I mean by this? Have so many accounts that you barely notice. So let's say you have five aged accounts and suddenly two get banned. There's 40% of the total DMs you can send, right? But let's say you have 50 aged accounts and two get banned. That's only 4%. so here are going to be the three types of restrictions you're guaranteed to get you're going to get all three of these the more you do instagram outreach so the first one you're going to get is an action block this is a temporary restriction on sending dms on following other people on leaving likes and leaving comments this one's the nicest one this one doesn't hurt us too much the second one is shadow bans so this one's the sneaky one This one doesn't actually come up with any messaging. So you think you're doing everything right, but then suddenly your messages are going to the hidden requests instead of the main requests. So this is what we want to avoid. And then the last one, this is the worst one, is when you get an account completely banned, you can't log in at all, and there is not much you can do. Okay, so let's walk through all three of them and then how to prevent them. So first of all, we've got action block. So this one, very straightforward, is just going to come up with a message like try again later. This is the most common one, the least one to worry about, right? it usually just lasts a couple days and it happens when you send dms too fast or it can even be when you do following too fast or when you leave likes too fast just any sort of action right because you're mimicking a bot so to overcome this very straightforward you want to stop all activity right now even activity that has nothing to do with your ban just stop doing everything honestly you can even log out and then when you're restarting on the account don't go back to the limit that got you banned so for example let's say you were sending 50 dms a day you want to start once again like i was mentioning earlier up here so you want to gradually work your way back up to that limit then we've got shadow bans now when you send a dm on instagram and the dm goes through there are two places you can land you can go in the main inbox or you can go into hidden requests. So obviously we want to be in the main inbox because if you're on the main inbox, the lead you're reaching out to also gets a notification that you've reached out to them. When you go in hidden, first of all, they don't get the notification. Sometimes the message doesn't even show up. So the lead has to actually click this see all button to potentially see your message. This one's sneaky since you don't actually know. The only way you know is you actually need to test it. You can still send a DMs technically, but no one will see it. now yeah technically it's possible for someone to see it but they need to go out of their way go on their hidden request click seal and even then you might not show up this one can last weeks it is possible to get your account out of being shadow banned but i will warn you there are also times where this is permanent so it's probably just in your best interest to move on and get new aged accounts so here's how to overcome shadow bands first of all stop any automations on the account. So usually this is caused when you have some sort of automation on the account. Stop sending any sort of DMs. And what you want to do is you basically want to treat this account like you just created it. So if you've been following instruction, right, we want to spend the first seven days sending zero DMs and just scrolling, leaving likes, following people, right? Then what you're going to do is after seven days of you doing this routine on this account, send a call DM to another one of your accounts, and then two outcomes are going to happen. if it ends up in hidden requests that account is gone i would suggest use it as a burnout but just give up on outreach it's likely not going to come out again or if it does it's very very unlikely if it doesn't end up in hidden requests and it ends up in you may know you can return to using it as an outreach account finally we've got the worst of the bunch which is disabled accounts now to be honest disabled accounts don't really happen when you're doing outreach typically disabled accounts are only for serious and repeated violations for example if you're impersonating other people so if you're creating outreach accounts and the person on the account isn't even you, if you're using fake identities, if you're mass scraping, you can even get disabled accounts, right? Sometimes what can happen as well is let's say you do nothing wrong, but there's been another account that got disabled in the same IP address, then Instagram will link the new account and ban that one as well, right? Now, overcoming disabled accounts, what I would suggest is first of all, appeal through Instagram immediately. The more you wait, the more it is a red flag because Instagram can see that you literally don't care about this account, which is a bot signal, right? If he asks you for government ID, you can go ahead and provide it. Sometimes he'll ask you to verify a phone number or email. Always use real ones, okay? Now, unfortunately, what you will have to accept is that more than 50% of the time, you can try all these three things, and yet there's nothing you can do. The account is gone. So again, you're typically not going to get many disabled accounts, but just understand if you do, there's usually not much you can do. So finally, we have the accounts, we have the leads, we understand the algorithm, how to avoid bans. It is now time. to actually send the dm so you open the google sheet and you select the leads act you want to look for the username on instagram you copy and paste the username into instagram what i suggest as well is you follow their account you leave a couple likes you can also enrich the lead so you can see if you can find their email their phone number right And then you just go ahead and send the opener. Never send the same opener as Instagram's algorithm, the text copy and paste. It is a billion dollar machine that is designed to recognize spam messages, right? So another thing you can use is a spinning spintax system. So what this tool does is it selects one option from each bracket. So for example, one of, hey, hi, hello. And then one of I help, I work with, I specialize. And it just selects one each, creating unique variations for every DM. Now, at this point, you're generating positive DMs. Congratulations. But as we both agree, a positive DM isn't enough. So once the DM is opened by the prospect, we need a repeatable framework to guide a percentage of those prospects from initial rapport to call booked. So here's a five-step framework that's working right now. You're going to get the positive reply. You're going to problem probe. identify the pain bridge their pain to you make a call to action and then you're going to move on to lead nurturing tactics so step one you get a positive response so if they respond like talk to me bro would like to hear all about what you offer more than happy to chat more about this hello java yes absolutely these responses are cool but they're not the full reality i will let you know you're going to get prospects telling you no you're going to get prospects telling you to go away You're going to get prospects telling you some very mean things, right? And what I would suggest is if you get a negative reply, don't push her too much. Just leave the lead alone. Then we're going to be moving on to step two, which is problem probing. So once you get a positive response, we need to switch to being a doctor. So when you go to the doctor, let me ask you this. Does he look at you and say, all right, Mr. Giovanni, clonazepam? No. They probably ask you a few questions first. Why are you here? What symptoms do you have? right so when they prescribe your medicine it holds more weight right that's what you need to do while in the dms so for example let's say you're an agency owner and you help coaches sign more clients with youtube organic right you want to ask specific questions so for example let's say a lead just responded to you with thank you sounds good right can you tell me more how do you do it you're welcome mr lead speaking of how's content creation coming along right Can you tell me more? Of course, essentially, we help coaches sign more clients with YouTube. Are you posting on YouTube much, right? How do you do it? Essentially, we help you sign more clients with YouTube. How are you currently acquiring clients? We're digging for pain, right? Which leads on to step three, identify the pain. So your job is not to immediately pitch, but act like a doctor and dig deeper. All we're doing is we're digging for pain, right? So Mr. Prospect, I see you have an agency. How's that going? Awesome. And how are you currently getting clients? Oh, you know, I'm running ads. Nice, paid ads. How's that going? You know what? It's actually going good. So again, I'm not finding pain. No worries. Let's just keep going. Nice. Love to hear that. Do you have any big goals? So asking about future goals is very underrated because it guarantees pain because they're not where they want to be, which means there's a gap, right? Yeah, I just want to scale to 50k a month with ads. For sure, man. Hey, and what's stopping you from doing that right now? And the second they give you a pain point, right? you tie back to your offer. That's what I'll talk about in a second, right? What's stopping you from hitting this right now? Uh, you know, I don't really know how to scale past $500 a day. Hey, totally get you, man. Would love to open a call. I'm confident I can help you scale past $500 a day. You down? If you don't find pain after digging for a while, they may not be a good lead because they may not be in enough pain for you to help them, right? So step four, we want to bridge their pain to your offer. So once you've clearly identified the pain, you've earned the right to introduce your solution. Now, when you do so, you must frame it as a direct answer to their specific pain point. Do not list features, list outcome. So let's look at a few examples, okay? What not to do. First of all, Do not list features, right? So for example, if they're telling you, hey, I'm struggling with sales calls, man, sucks you going through that. While our system is a 12-step automation sequence with SMS reminders, a custom built-in CRM, and integration will currently to fix that. You're forcing the prospect to do mental work. They don't care. I promise you they don't care. They just want their pain to go away, right? Another thing you shouldn't do is a generic pitch. So let's say, again, they're struggling with sales calls. I understand. Hey, we can help with that. We actually help with revenue optimization through things like show up and sales funnels. You've basically said nothing about the prospect's pain point and you're making them feel unheard. And that's a sure as hell way to not get them on the phone with you, yet alone as a paying client. Another thing to avoid is doing what I like to call an uncertain pitch. So for example, let's say this prospect is struggling with no-shows. No-shows? That sucks. We have a tool that might be able to help a little. We have clients who think it's helped reduce no-show. That's weak language. You don't sound confident. right? No one's going to go with you if you don't sound confident in your own product. And if you're not confident in your own product, what are you doing looking at a video on how to send outreach? Go fix your product first and then come back, right? Finally, stop talking about yourself, right? So here's another example. Yep, I always hear that. You know, when I started my company, that's exactly what I struggled with. That's a problem in the past. Since then, we've been able to break 100k months consistently. What about you, right? Your prospect couldn't care less. The pitch is about you, not their pain. and again in a way this one also makes them feel unheard right so here's what to do instead right you want to focus on the outcome not features and you want to sound certain in your solution without sounding cocky so for example again let's take show up right got it the no-show problem is classic when the lead qualification isn't dialed in so i'm acknowledging right i'm showing my expertise we actually have a system that focuses specifically on booking calls with pre-qualified founders thus eliminating the issue as they come prepared understanding the value of your offer so what am i doing with this sentence here i'm doing two things once again i'm demonstrating my expertise but i'm tying it to the outcome i'm not sounding cocky but i'm sounding confident right so outcome they want booking calls with pre-qualified founders we actually have a system that focuses specifically on that again this focuses specifically on them and not on you and then finally the final step is a low friction low pressure invitation to learn more you are so close here you've done everything right but you need to actually get them on the calendar now here's a big principle i want you to understand when doing call dms you are not selling the offer the goal of call dms is you sell the meeting okay you have the meeting to sell the offer do not sell the offer in the dms okay Would you be open to a 15-minute chat sometime next week where I can walk you through exactly how that qualification process works? If they say yes, send them your calendar link. No worries. Here's my calendar link. Let me know once you've booked so I can confirm. Now, what I need you to understand, humans get busy. You get busy. You probably did things yesterday. You probably have things to do tomorrow, right? The prospect may not always book the first time. That's fine. What you want to do is you want to constantly follow up as needed, right? Now, don't spam, don't be annoying, but you want to follow up. There is nothing wrong with that, right? Because if you have a product that can genuinely improve their lives, then even ethically, it's in your best interest to help them to solve that pain point. So this five-step framework shifts the entire dynamic of the DM from you sounding like a needy appointment set up, just trying to hit commissions. to almost like you're a doctor, you're an expert, you're offering this potential medicine, right? This is an infinitely more powerful and leveraged position to be in, especially when doing cold outreach. Because with inbound, you already have that from the get-go because I've already watched some content about you. But from outreach, we're reaching out cold, right? It's good old-fashioned B2B sales. Now, what most people do, unfortunately, is once they book the call, they act like the job's already done. Job's not done. Our goal is not booked calls. Our goal is high ticket paying clients. So what we need to do to increase the chance that the lead that you've just booked, first of all, actually shows up to the call. But then after they show up, actually close, pay as much as possible and give you the chance to deliver your product, deliver your service, and hopefully give you a case study. we need to do some lead nurturing tactics. So to supercharge this process, there are two things you can do. Number one, you can send voice messages. So after they respond to your opener or even after they book a call, instead of going through text, send voice messages now yes it's not as leveraged as dms but who said you need to focus on leverage right now do the unscalable if you're starting out sign a few clients then you can worry about scaling unlike a dm where a prospect can just see the notification see the preview with a voice message they actually have to open it and then once they're already there they can hear you're a real human you're a real business owner they're much more likely to respond right another underrated tactic that's also working today is sending google docs sending gamma breakdowns even sending vsls throughout the dm process this can be both before the call or after the call is booked right now i will let you know okay i'm giving you a heads up a percentage of prospects will detach so if you just say hey mr prospect check out this vsl a percentage of prospects will never watch it and they will ghost you once you send the link however here's the thing the ones who do read it get pre-sold quicker. They're more likely to show up. They're more likely to close. They're more likely to pay more, right? So if you're just optimizing for quantity, then sure, you can skip this step. But if you're optimizing for less calls, but the right ones, then I would suggest introducing some sort of lead nurturing asset, right? Now let's talk about data that you should be tracking as well as financial modeling. So this is arguably going to be the most important part. of this entire training so at our company it's quite disgusting how obsessed we are with data with numbers with kpis and you should be too Right. If you're not tracking data, you're operating without direction. So this is an example of one of our outreach trackers and how it looks like. You can DM me on Instagram if you want one of these as well. I can ping it to you. Right. So I'll walk you through some key KPIs to understand and what to aim for. Now, I'm only going to go ahead and include a few because if I include every single one, to be honest, this guy's going to go for too long. But again, if you do want a video where I break down every single KPI to the detail, I can also do that. So just let me know. Now, the first KPI that you're going to be tracking is total messages. And this pretty much means how many new DMs did you send? Why is this KPI important to track? Pretty straightforward. The more DMs you send, the more responses. Now, this is the one KPI that I don't actually have a number for because you actually just want to do as much as you possibly can. The more, the better. Volume negates luck. Now, let's talk about all variables that could potentially affect your total messages sent. So number one, pretty straightforward, number of hours worked. Throughout the day, if you're starting out, are you working as much as you can? Or are you just randomly getting up and doing other things? You're taking a break. I don't know. You're going to the bar. You're going to the beach. I don't know what you're doing, right? But are you just sitting down, locked in, putting the work, sending the DMs? Or are you not? Pretty straightforward. Your focus level, this one's important. So if you're listening to YouTube, if you're listening to Spotify, your output will easily drop by 50% to 70%. Now, yes, you can make the argument that you're making the DM sending more enjoyable if you're listening to music, but your actual output goes down. This is science. You can look it up if you don't believe me. That's why I was such a big fan of Brain.fm, which are neural beats. They're designed to stimulate you and get you to focus, right? your energy levels so if you're getting a poor night rest or you're eating a very high processed diet you can expect lower energy levels and obviously that's going to reflect in the amount of dms you send so if for every single lead you're messaging you're leaving so many likes you're leaving multiple comments then obviously that's going to slow you down your internet speed this actually adds up more than you think a slow internet connection alone adds anywhere from 30 to 45 seconds per dms so for example let's say you're sending 250 dms That's quite literally hours gone. So typically if your Internet slows down as well, sometimes it could be that you or someone else who's sharing your Internet connection is downloading something, your RAM. So this is if you're sending DMs on your computer, a faster device will usually load accounts quicker. I know this one sounds cliche or whatever, but your motivation levels. So if you're not happy, if you're not motivated to work, if you don't see the value of outreach. you're not going to do it. So what we always tell our virtual assistants is if you're struggling with anything, with motivation, your manager is here to support you, right? And that's what you should do as well for your virtual assistants. Now, the second KPI we want to track is positive responses. So how many new positive responses did we get in total? Not negative responses. So if they tell us no, if they tell us go away, that's not a positive response, right? Now, these are all the variables that could affect your positive responses. First of all, total messages sent. This is pretty straightforward. The more DMs you send, the more responses you get. Lead quality. So every single lead you send a DM to should be someone you can help, right? If you send 100 DMs to random people, chances are they're not going to know what you're talking about and then they're not going to respond. Effectiveness of your pre-DM routine. So before you actually send a DM, are you doing a pre-DM routine? Are you leaving likes? Are you leaving comments? Now, you don't want to take it too far, as I talked about up here. Otherwise, you're just draining your energy, but you also do want to make sure you do it. because you're sending a few extra touch points to your lead, as well as that, if they have them turned on, they get the notification that you've liked, that you've commented, that you've left a follow and whatnot. Right. Time of day, this is really important. For us, we like to send DMs between 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time Zone, which is the best time for us because we target anyone from first world English speaking countries. It's a perfect balance that actually hits United States, Europe and Australia. Obviously, depending on who you help, you might want to adjust this as needed. So again, just test it if you need. The actual opener, this is important as well. So are you personalizing each opener and using variations? Poor deliverability. So is your account shadow ban? Or in other words, are you going to spam? If one of your accounts is in spam, your positive responses may be unfairly affected. So if you're not sure, you can do a DM test like we talked about earlier. And then finally, profile optimization. Every single profile that you send DMs from should be personalized with everything we talked about in the video. Moving on, we've got booked calls. How many new qualified sales calls did we get in total? So if the lead is unqualified, I actually don't even put it on the tracker. Importance, obviously, the more sales calls booked, the more sales calls we can take, right? What I like to aim for is 5% to 10% of total DMs sent should result in a positive response. And then 5% to 20% of positive responses should turn into a qualified sales call. Here are all variables that affect your total booked calls every single day. First of all, the amount of positive responses you get. Again, pretty straightforward. The more DMs you send, the more positive responses. The more positive responses, the more booked calls, right? Volume negates luck. Your skill of conversation flow. So are you dropping the link early, right? This is what we talked about. Are you being the doctor? Are you asking questions? Are you identifying pain? Or are you just saying, yeah, I'm the best. I can help you. Obviously, the latter. right? They're going to be like, you don't even know anything about me. So you want to build a genuine relationship and understand their pain points. Your skill of objections. So are you actually handling objections or are you just shying away? So if a prospect is saying, yeah, not the right time at the moment, are you saying, yeah, no worries. Have a good day. Or are you digging a little bit deeper? Are you maybe saying, what do you mean by that? So when is the right time? Help me understand. Your skill of call to actions. So this one ties in with ConvoFlow, but are your call to actions relevant Or are they passive and random? So for example, is your call to action, hey, Mr. Prospect, I can help you. Or is it something like, okay, Mr. Prospect, how about this? Let's hop on a 15 minute call and I can walk you through how I can fix your show up right once and for all, right? Your response speed, this one is so, so, so important. When a new positive response comes in, are you answering within five minutes or are you just letting them sit there and collect digital dust, right? You can do a little bit of research yourself, but I think the statistics are quite silly. i think you are 700 or something crazy more likely to convert a lead into a call into an appointment into a sale if you just respond within five minutes your availability so how many hours are you active during the day so obviously if you decide okay i'm only going to do appointment setting for two hours a day you're not going to out compete the person that's doing it for 10 hours a day right your crm so are you actually using a crm every single day to help you find leads or are you letting leads slip through the crack right and lastly your follow-up cadence so once a lead responds are you actually consistently following up with them now you don't want to do this to leads that don't respond to your opener because what happens is to the instagram algorithm every follow-up to someone who hasn't actually responded to you they see it as a new call vm right but once they respond also you have the green light to follow up as much as needed let's look at one more kpi here this is your cost per reply so how many dollars is it costing you to generate a positive dm this is important because the cheaper the lead is the more you can invest right so typically i like to aim for below five dollars per positive response the cheaper the better right so the cost per reply is calculated by the total dollars of money you injected into outreach divided by the positive dms you have gotten now this dollar amount includes things like salaries so for example if you're hiring a virtual assistant to do outreach for you which i have videos on how to do you can check it out after this or if you're buying software specifically relating to outreach so a software like stripe a software like zoom i don't really count these ones but a software like chat gbt specifically for coming up with personalized openers would go here right now this is going to sound silly but you want to do this If you're the one sending the DMs, meaning you don't have a virtual assistant, what you should do is you should put $5 an hour for every single hour that you're sending the DMs, since that's the average market rate for a good virtual assistant who will send the outreach for you, right? So here's an example to get you to understand how this KPI works. So let's say you spent $40 on a virtual assistant to work an eight-hour shift. now across the entire month you're spending 180 on outreach related software now we can divide the total monthly cost by the daily cost which in this case 180 will turn into six dollars a day then let's say throughout this one shift your va got you 20 positive replies all we're going to do is divide the total daily spend which in this case is 46 so the 40 from the va and the six dollars from the software $46 divided by 20 is 2.3. So with this example, it's costing you $2.30 to get someone interested in your offer. Or in other words, your CPL is $2.30, which is pretty nice, right? Now, I know this sounds tedious, but you can actually get Google Sheet to automate this, right? So I'll show you up here. If I go on, actually, what I'll do is I'll open my Google Sheet really quickly. So I'm on a sample Google Sheet just to really show you how easy it is to automate it. But for example, as you can see here, let's say on Thursday I send 400 DMs, right? That's fine. And then out of those 400 DMs, let's say I get 25 positive responses. Now the Google Sheet, as you can see here, is already automating the response rate. And then another thing we can do is we can do the total expenses. So again, that's the VA salary if you have any VAs as well as software. So for example, let's say we spend $50 today on outreach. What the Google Sheet is going to do is it is then going to calculate the cost per reply by dividing the total expenses by the positive responses. So in this case, pretty easy, $50 divided by 25 is $2, right? So there's the formula. Again, if you want this tracker, you can also message me on Instagram and I can ping it to you. So what affects your cost per lead? Obviously, how much money you're spending and where. So the more you spend, the higher your cost per lead is going to be. All the variables that affect the total DM sent. and all the variables that affect positive responses. We now have engineered a system capable of generating you dozens of high quality conversations every single week. But with this volume that we're generating comes a new problem, lead management. Now, most people who do Instagram outreach, they're complete beginners. So their version of Instagram outreach is just, you know. three maybe five accounts on their phone same ip address it's a mess to be honest but if you're scaling and you're getting more than 10 positive replies every single day what i would suggest is you need to look for a crm so instagram's a native inbox unfortunately as of now it's not useful at all when it comes to helping other businesses no organizational structure no way to follow up with leads no way to track where a lead actually is in the sales process and here's where things get even worse for us unfortunately a normal crm like go high level or hubspot is not actually enough we need one specifically designed for managing instagram dms at scale right so here's a few specific ones we found that are good for managing instagram at scale you've got trengo you've got cold dms you've got break call you've got inbox hq right some of these are going to be paid per account others are going to be paid purely monthly so it just depends how much input you're willing to invest into the system Now for the fun part, scaling the amount of DMs you can send every single day. So now we're talking about scale, which requires a fundamental shift. So I like to break this down by three stages. The first stage is the manual phase. So this is anywhere from zero to 100 DMs. This is where you're doing everything yourself. You're actually sending the DMs. You're responding to the leads. You're pretty much on your own. Then we've got semi-scale, which is anywhere from 100 to 1,000 DMs. This is where you use tools or you manage other people to send more DMs. You still have to quality control those people. You still have to actually buy the tools, manage the tools, right? But eventually you're going to move on to phase three, which is scaled. This is where you're sending 1,000 DMs or more every single day. qualified calls are being booked completely without you. Now, this is a beautiful thing about cold outreach. The thing about cold outreach is that results are typically linear. That means if we 2x the inputs, we will usually 2x the output. Now, up until this point, you've likely been doing things manually, right? You've likely been using accounts on your phone or your desktop. You've likely manually been sourcing the leads one by one. Again, either yourself or maybe you have one, two VAs that most helping you. but if we want to scale this is going to require a fundamental investment in infrastructure so you're going to be needing three things you're going to be needing proxies you're going to be needing a router hoster and you're going to be needing a vpn now hold your horses i'm going to explain what each of these are so let's start with understanding proxies so instagram's algorithm tracks every action you take and ties it back to your ip address so instagram has an official limit of five accounts per device anything more than that you're playing with fire right the algorithm might begin to get their eyes on you however obviously this is a problem for us because if we want to scale to a thousand dms we will need a lot more than five outreach accounts and this is where we need proxies so a proxy is a server that routes your internet traffic essentially hiding your ip address so think of a proxy as an ip address without a host so this is the oversimplified version but essentially think of it like this so a host is a device so for example your phone your macbook your ipad those are hosts your ip address is your internet connection so it could be your home wi-fi it could be your mobile internet right essentially a proxy is that internet connection but it doesn't have a device tied to it so what we're going to do is we're going to buy proxies to mask the ip address of each instagram account we have and essentially this is going to allow us to scale the amount of dms we can send here's why this is important right Let's say you send 200 DMs on one Instagram account. You're going to get restricted and or banned. Let's say you send 200 DMs on 10 Instagram accounts, so only 20 DMs per account, but you're doing this on the same IP address. Once again, doesn't work. You're going to get restricted and or banned because the algorithm ties it back to the IP address. But let's say there's a third scenario. You send 200 DMs on 10 Instagram accounts, so only 20 DMs a day, but each account has different IP addresses. that is incredibly safe and you're not going to get banned, right? So that's why we need proxies. Now, what you need to understand about proxies is that there are proxies that are higher quality than others. So for example, we've got mobile proxies. These are going to be 4G or 5G. These are going to be the highest quality proxies by far. However, unfortunately, they're also the most expensive. So these are proxies that route your traffic to real mobile networks. So things like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and this makes it impossible for Instagram to flag you. Moving on, we've got residential. They're also known as ISPs. These are assigned by real internet service providers, which make them much harder for Instagram to detect. But the only problem with them is that they're not on a mobile, they're on a desktop. Instagram is designed to be used on mobile. So that's what the algorithm trusts more. Now, finally, the proxies you want to avoid at all costs are going to be data centers. Now, these are going to be tempting because they are the cheapest proxies, but they're also the worst quality. Instagram can literally see that you're inside a data center and obviously that's not how humans act. So you're likely going to get banned or at the very minimum go into spam. So here's my recommendation. Mobile proxies may be a little bit expensive for you if you're starting out. So start with residential ISP and then once you scale to serious numbers, you can consider mobile proxies. Now there is one more thing you need to watch out for when buying proxies and that is understanding the difference between a sticky proxy and a rotating proxy. so a rotating proxy rotates and changes ip address every set interval so for example every five minutes your ip address changes for example let's say the ip address is in australia and then 10 minutes later you're in bolivia and then 10 minutes later you're in i don't know ghana whatever now don't get me wrong rotating proxies are definitely useful for certain tasks such as lead scraping but they're not going to be useful for us when sending the DMs. So what we need is a sticky proxy. A sticky proxy does not change IP address. So you want to avoid rotating proxies at all costs. If you're not sure or you want to confirm that the proxy you're buying is sticky instead of rotating, you can just ask your vendors. Typically, they have customer support. These are working for us. But again, please do your own research. Come to your own conclusion, right? We've got GeoNix. We've got uproxy.io, proxy share, right? Proxy providers typically come and go. so you always want to do your own research and you know just do a little bit of critical thinking now this is rare but some proxy providers will actually lie to you so they will tell your proxy sticky and then it changes ip address so once again if you're not sure please go ahead and ask them now depending on the vendor if they sell your proxy that doesn't meet your quality you can usually ask for a replacement for free but again this goes from vendor to vendor so just do your own research we have the proxies but our job is not done once you buy the proxies you need a place to quote unquote host them remember the ip addresses without host and this is called router hosting now i've tried multiple router hosters the best one i found is hide my acc so you can search up hide my acc or you can just download this gamma click this link here what hide my acc does is it will create unique browser fingerprints for each of your proxies A unique fingerprint has things like your browser. So Safari, Chrome, Opera, Bing, whatever. Your operating system. So are you on Mac? Are you on an iPhone? Are you on a Windows? Your device, your IP address. To be honest, a bunch of things. We don't really care about what's everything in a fingerprint. All you need to know is that it creates a unique identity. per proxy you use. So let me go ahead and show you. So this is our current HideMyACC account, right? And every single profile you're seeing here has its unique browser fingerprint, right? So what I can do is I can go ahead and press run here. And what HideMyACC is doing is it is creating a unique fingerprint for each profile here right and then obviously that unique fingerprint has the proxy we put in earlier we've also already bookmarked instagram to make it easier and again the beautiful thing is i can literally come here on hide my cc i can press run 10 times and then that's going to open 10 browser windows on my one macbook But yet to Instagram, it's going to appear as if I'm in 10 completely different places. And that's the beautiful thing about this combination of proxies as well as router hosting. If you want to take this a step further, this is one of our proprietary strategies, which I'll talk about in a second. You can even add virtual private service, VPS, and you can build an infrastructure that, to be honest, takes this to a whole new level, right? Now, there's something I haven't told you yet. All of these strategies, manual outreach, proxies, virtual assistants, automations. they all hit a ceiling and break at around the 800 to 1,000 DM mark, which by the way is a great start. Most people who do Instagram outreach, again, if you remember, they probably have three, maybe five accounts. They're on their phone. They're sending maybe 50, 100 DMs a day, right? So if you're out here sending 800 to 1,000 DMs a day, that is very, very good, okay? It is a great way to start. If you optimize your KPIs, you should be looking at anywhere from five to 10 qualified sales calls every single day. But if you want to scale, so if you want to generate more than 10 qualified sales calls a day, you're going to need real infrastructure. So if you get to this point where you're advanced enough to scale to real infrastructure, you're going to enjoy what I'm walking you through. So we've spent the last few years building three proprietary outreach systems that completely break the traditional scaling model. So let me show you what they are. They're also going to be in our community, which you can join. You can click the link below this video. And by the way, I also have videos breaking down each one of these three in depth on my YouTube channel. So you can just go ahead and look for them. These three are the exact same strategies that we actually implement for our paying clients as well as for ourselves. Now, I'm going to be honest with you, okay? It's not fair. It's not fair for me to just, on this free YouTube video, give you the full breakdown, the full SOP when our clients are paying us thousands and thousands of dollars for it. However, don't worry, I'm not going to leave you dry. I'm going to give you a little bit just so you understand exactly how they work, right? So the first proprietary strategy we developed is something called Phantom Outreach. And essentially what we do is we run accounts from router hosters like HideMyCC, but we take it a step further and we run them in the cloud instead of your desktop by introducing things like virtual private service, right? So as you can see here, so we've got proxies. each proxy we set up already comes bookmarked with an instagram account and by the way the phantom outreach infrastructure it also works for facebook linkedin and x and then each proxy also comes with a phantom now this is a custom puppeteer that we built that actually moves the screen and sends the dms for us We've got multiple router hosters to support the volumes. So for example, HideMyCC. And then to support the volume even further, we've got virtual private servers. So all you need to do, right, the way this infrastructure works is every single day, you just turn it on from one device, you just turn on your VPS. And then from your VPS, you turn on your router hosters. From your router hosters, you turn on the proxy and the phantom. And then every single day, you're getting DM sent completely automated. And all you need to do is you just pause the phantoms when it's time to respond to the DMs. So that's the first strategy. The second strategy is going to be the cyborg swarm. We create a swarm of different AI agents with different personalities and self-training intelligence. So the way this one works is it starts with different AI models. So we've got some basic mainstream LLMs. So things like. Chachi BT, Gemini, Claude. And then we've got some custom ones we build as well. And we combine all of them to create a brain farm. And out of all the data within that brain farm, we spin off different AI agents with different personalities. So for example, one AI agent could be logical. One could be emotional. One could be direct, straight to the point, right? We test all of them to see which one performs the best. And then as each AI agent answers DMs, they acquire data and then we send that data back to itself to constantly train. So for example, if an AI agent sends a bad response, it recognizes it and then it sends it back. It trains itself to not send that response under that certain context. And then you can imagine the more conversations they go through, the better these AI agents become. Now, the last strategy we leverage, this is the most beginner friendly one. This is called the AI Minotaur. So we leverage AI enabled virtual assistants and we give them AI superpowers to book cheap but qualified sales calls. So we've got an AI Minotaur manager, which is typically you. And all you're doing is you're managing three virtual assistants. One that scrapes the leads, one that sends the DMs and one that books appointments. But again, these are not normal virtual assistants. but each one of them is enhanced using AI. So for example, the VA that scrapes leads isn't doing it manually. We've got AI that helps it out. The VA that sends the DMs, we've got another AI such as Hira, which I showed you earlier, that helps it come up with high personalized openers. And then we've even got a VA here for appointment booking that once again is leveraging an AI appointment setup to help it convert a percentage of those DMs into qualified responses. If you made it to the end and all you're thinking is Look, I see the power in Instagram outreach, but to be honest, it just sounds like a lot of work and you want us to help you one-on-one. There's also a link in the description, which you can check out and book a call either with myself or my team. If you enjoyed this in-depth guide, leave a like, subscribe. I want to hear from you if you like more of these in-depth guides, but until then, have a beautiful day and I'll be seeing you in the next one.
