Он благодарит Oliver's за аренду: «I love me Fastracs, and this is super».

Hey folks, how are we doing? We're just on the way back to Oliver's, unfortunately. I would like to keep this. It would be very nice to keep, but unfortunately, I don't think I can keep it. So, yeah, we're just heading back now. It's Tuesday, and we're just climbing up Barton Hill at the minute, which is the Achilles heel of CVT tractors. no matter what make they are they don't like hills they do fall off a bit like um but uh yeah we nearly at the top of the hill then we've got all the lovely little back roads to get to all of us so uh yeah so uh tractor run was sunday this year just took her out of the cruise uh sunday instead of saturday now that was down to uh the councils i think you can go um Yeah, I don't quite understand the reasoning behind that. It's something to do with the shops and all that sort of stuff. But I mean, the... Rory coming, Tanger coming. Yeah, all the... I mean, the amount of people that we had come out was just unreal. Especially Bulldog. Bulldog was just... Cheers, mate. Absolutely mental. I'd never seen so many people in Bulldog. And as soon as we turned out of the field... And then there's like half a mile, three quarters of a mile before you get to the town. That was chock on with people as well. It was unreal. Because of course now that's the fifth year of the tractor run. Obviously people know, you know, because it's happened so many times now, people know it's coming and look forward to it. And obviously that's, you know, hopefully it'll just, you know, just keep growing like that. Yeah, for something to do with the shops. I don't quite understand it, but the council worried about the shops or something like that. But all them people out there are going to want mugs of coffee or chocolate or whatever or bite to eat. It's brilliant for the shopkeepers and everything, because they get to get a good bit of trade. It doesn't seem to make no odds whether it's Saturday or Sunday. Well, if anything, there was more people about on the Sunday, on the Sunday, on this one, like. But it was, yeah, it was just great to see. Like I said on the Trapped to Run video, you know, everyone just smiling, giggling, laughing. Brilliant, like, just brilliant to see. Brilliant to see. The only thing missing was my old mate Mucker. who i'm sure a lot of you will know that he's not um he's not very well at the minute like so unfortunately he couldn't come like it's a bit of a shame like cheers mate thank you cheers mate thank you cheers but these lovely roads um and they get narrow yet um yeah so uh shame mucker couldn't come uh didn't do the live um because mucker wasn't there like you know it's um that's sort of me and muckers thing like that is But we did, like I say, me and Liz, we did a bit of a video going through and to watch back it's a lot better quality. So that's why I thought I'd do that. Just do a little bit of flavour, the amount of people and the atmosphere of doing it. And of course then you've got all the farmers, 130 odd, however many there were. all the effort that goes into, you know, dressing the tractors up, like, there's a lot of, cheers mate, thank you, cheers, thank you, thank you, a lot of effort into it, I mean, I was probably about four hours, and my one was quite simple, like, snowman in the front who died, past Christmas in the back, and some lights on it, like, you know, but a lot of people have spent a lot more time, building things that I had like but it was worth it like you know just to see them people's faces like so yeah as it stands at the minute cheers mate thank you Hilly he texted me that I think this morning said we're up to £52,000 at the minute which is just phenomenal like you know because That has been his target for the past two or three years and We've not we've not got you know, we've not beat it In the previous years lot, but looks like this year. We're gonna smash it lot absolutely smash it this car going I might put you sitting behind me worries So yeah, very good news and that is like the hospice along with a lot of others you know they're really struggling for funding at the minute um so the fact that um um i mean it was i know it's like two or three years ago there's ten thousand pound a day to run that place so that fifty thousand pounds is basically five days uh of running costs like it's an extraordinary amount to you know to um you know the day-to-day running costs 10 grand like but that's you know that's what it is so 50 grand that's uh that's a good chunk of money isn't it like it is a good chunk of money so um yeah it's worth all the effort and um yeah like i say that some of the councils or one of the council made the hilly's life a bit of a pain like um you know because you think by the you know the time you've done five tractor runs you know it's just a case of just changing um changing the year on the banner like you know just updating the year, like, you know, because everything's in place. But he's had a hell of a job this year, like, and even not allowing us to park in the car park we're normally parking, like, which worked fine, like, absolutely fine. This year, I don't know for what reason, I've not spoken to them about it, but they said we couldn't park in that one, which is obviously hard, you know, tarmac, hard standing in the town. We had to park in, cheers mate, good old boy, cheers mate, thank you. We had to park at the Priory, which is, I think it's like a hotel. But anyway, we parked on the front lawn bit, if you will. And yeah, I dread to think what it looked like in daylight. Because even just the people walking across the grass. was churning it up because it was raining that evening. Yeah, so whether we're allowed back there again or not, I don't know. But certainly would have messed that bit of grass up. But there you go. Anyway, it's all for a good cause. That's the weird thing. It's all for charity. And it brings all the towns together. So, I mean, what's the problem? What is the problem? You know, there's not many events that I can think of like that that would bring so many people out. And, you know, all having a good time. You know, it's just such a great event. Cheers, mate. Thank you. So, yeah, so that was very good anyway. So, yeah, yesterday I decamped the box. Rytec compact box off the front. Took Kingy's Watson transport box off the back, which was perfect for Santa. That was ideal. That was really, really ideal for Santa. And took all the lights off, so could run it back today. Drop up the kerb a little bit here, light for him. Cheers, mate. There's a bit now. You stay there, mate. I'll come past you. Cheers, mate. Thank you. Oh, mate, you come past. Oh, mate. He's not going to thank me. at the end of the world. Yeah, and of course, big thanks to all of us, like, for lending me one of these. So nice. You know I love me fast tracks, like. And this is super. And actually, like, the first time I've had a decent buddy seat, you know, because you get, obviously, a proper seat in these. Yes, you're on the floor almost, like, but it is a proper seat. And I end up driving, like. Because in the others, I have had a bit of a numb bum by the end of... two hours perched on it like but uh linds obviously had a nice company seat so yeah just very very nice tractor and um like how it just deals with these speed bumps what speed up right we're going to cross that one these are them sort of ones that even that just putting one wheel over it barely noticed it like so up for him and rose darling you know when you're going through little villages like this just be you know courteous to people like don't just blast your way through and force people out of the way like you know here's love on speed up oh just so smooth over there oh mate oh mate come past come on a little bit of a thick one behind me he can stay stay behind us then um yeah no one on board um yeah so it's been a busy um busy time really what with the fire and everything as well um and trying to do stuff to the fw um as well as everything else like you know i'm trying to get that uh so it's show ready um but i still don't know for sure whether it's going i can't get enough you know i can't get an answer so um but we're still going ahead you know the wheels s uh s and d fax has got the wheels done like i showed you in the other video So we've got to get them mounted back on the tractor, sooner rather than later really, so it's secure again. Get them on. Jin just sorted out some new wheel bolts and washers, stainless washers for it. And he's also getting on with the exhaust, so it's all good. Cheers mate, thank you. so it's all coming together like but whether it goes to lamb or not it'll be you know looking up you know we're looking 40 grand so she'll look a treat she will look a treat so yeah we're in the good old single lanes now of southern Bedfordshire stroke Hertfordshire lovely lanes these are lovely lanes but yeah next year obviously next year's nearly here now um got a few machines lined up we've got a um there you go mate in there we've got a 6000 series from um oliver's when they get one unless there's one there might one in the yard i'm sure they're getting you know they're getting stock in the new year like but um we'll find out in about 10 minutes time Ibbits have taken over, you know, Ibbits that do the Unimogs, they've taken over or taken on McCormick dealerships. So finally, after about five or six years, I'll finally be able to try one of the new McCormicks. Ever since, I think I was at Midlands Machinery Show, sat in one, I was like, bloody hell, this is a nice tractor. Ever since then I've wanted to try one, but no one around here does them, so I've not had the opportunity. But since the Zibitz have taken on the dealership, we'll be able to have a look at two different models there, which will be good. It'll be interesting. You've got the new Deutsche Fire. When that comes available, we'll be having a look at that with the new cab. Smash on, smash on. Put Liam up here, I think. Oh, he's already pulled in. Good old boy. Thank you very much. Just ease up a bit. Cheers, mate. Thank you. Appreciate it. Cheers, mate. Yeah, so hopefully we'll have a few good models to look at. Oh, and I almost forgot the new New Holland. So the new short wheelbase models. So they've got the new styling, the new cab, the Horizon cab. And, of course, the new big bugger. The new... Well, in New Holland, guys, it's the T7 XT. So, you know, that 440 horsepower monster. Wouldn't mind having a look at one of them in, you know, sort of harvest time. Give it a bit of heavy-duty work, like. So, yeah, lots and lots coming up, like. Oh, look at that. Isn't that nice, eh? Let's just tip some crap in the labour, like. I'm surprised you haven't seen more because these lanes are terrible for it like. People just pull up, open the rear doors, dump it out and go on. I was coming here once, yeah I was coming to Oliver's once. Not in a fast track, could have been in a fast track then. About three years ago or might have been a pickup, I can't remember either either. And literally someone had pulled up in the middle of the road, it was a bit further back and just dumped the contents of their van in the middle of the road or off the tipper or whatever it was like. Yeah, literally just dumped it in the middle of the road. I mean, you never catch them doing it, do you? If you catch them doing it, well, I'll just ram the van, I would. Ram it and then get them to pick it all up again, like. So here we are at Tee Green, we're nearly there. What's the time? So it's 1.30, that's took me, I think it was about 22 I started out, so it took me 50 minutes, which is not bad. I think it'd only take five minutes less. 10 minutes less in the car so um of course in this your average speed is damn near 40 mile an hour like a bit further on left up here you've got to say um i'm not going to splash through it like because i did just wash this off before i left so i don't want to cover it in mud before i just get there they'll be like what have you been doing with it george which is nice and clean um So, yeah. Nearly there. We'll flip her back in the four-wheel steer. And we can't. Still busy working now, boys. And here somewhere and park her up. We'll park it in front of the Sprinter. Is that a Sprinter? I don't know what it is. I'm not sure what it is, but we will park her there. There's no fast tracks here. Hence why this come from another depot. Yeah, they dropped it off in the Tindwick depot. Because they didn't have any here. more don't ram anything george that'll do handbrake on there we go so yeah it's all good in the hood um yeah i enjoyed that little vid um let me see in one of these again for a little while like but never mind anyway i hope you enjoyed that merry christmas to all of you thanks for tuning in see you on the next one ta-ta
