what it really takes to create a loyal client base, meaning it's not somebody who just comes in, leaves out the door and goes to another barbershop, another realtor, or in this example, another Neltech. We're talking today about building our client base, somebody who's going to be loyal and continue to bring business to us and come back to us over and over again. That's what we're talking about. Go ahead and let Monica introduce herself. Let them know where they can find you and remind them what you do. Hi, everyone. My name is Monica Garcia. I am a Neltech. you can find me on instagram at monica garcia with three a's and an underscore or you can find my spa page at the pink spa and lounge when it comes to client retention what is something that you guys think that business owners especially whenever they're starting or they're in that growth phase overlook in order to keep loyal clientele i think the number one thing that every business overlooks um it's something they think about it's something that they want to do and I think a lot of people fail at implementation and that is customer service customer service and customer service experience the experience that they have at the business that you're conducting how you make them feel they will never forget and I think it's something that gets lost in in business as you're trying to build and as you have growing pains and as you have issues you forget to service your clients the way you intended to and why you started your business in general. You know, it business is hard business gets tough. And you know, some of the easiest things to I think, I think that is one of the first things that goes out the window. So I think as far as client retention, and, and relationships, you need to focus on the customer service, it's what's going to keep your doors open. Yeah, it's tough to give good customer service, whenever you're doing all the, you know, the bookkeeping, you're doing all the, you know, you're trying to put in sales process, you're trying to do all these things you know and then also you're trying to balance your family right and then and then somebody comes in that you've and it never fails right it's always the one you've bent over backwards the one that's always the unhappiest and you kind of get that attitude of you know what just go down the road I don't need your business you know and so it's easy to lose that customer service like Vic said I think I think I lost a lot of people at the beginning when I started doing this because I was like you know hey I can't give you no more it's all I got whenever you work for a company it's easier to give customer service because it's all in the company's dime you know but whenever it's you and your response for it you kind of like you're kind of watching right like hey what's going on man I said I say get a coke not you your three kids and take two home Monica for you and your business is like one of your strategies the ability to be able to listen to cheese man and not spread it like part of your client retention like the clients open up so much to their the people that are working on them I feel like it would probably be the same and like a nail salon as well right or no yeah I feel the same I feel like a lot of people been and of course tell you on things but like he said you have to keep a professional tool especially because sometimes some people they they're only trusting you as their note because sometimes they can't really tell other people their business so um they tell you because we really don't know like you know the people that they know or people that are involved in the cheese man so um i think it's just keeping it professional like it says we listen and we don't judge i didn't i didn't know that you couldn't spread cheese man i thought i thought that like it was a rite of passage to be a mexican but if in business yeah in business you gotta you gotta keep it to yourself because then they find out who said it you said you had a lounge in there um at the no spa you said spa in the lounge um well i guess yeah you can say you can consider it a long just kind of small and people hang out there and drink and hang out no she said do not she said do not come over here and do those things there not to get you guys off monica do you mind moving your mic a little bit closer to you yeah there you go go a little bit higher just make sure we can hear you it's the arm push it there you go and i'll fix it there you go that should work okay so i actually have a coffee bar in there so yeah so people can get their iced coffee or latte and then just um hang out in the in the lounge area why somebody does this fall uh yeah well they wait for their services or okay yeah somebody does somebody man that spot or work there I mean at the sorry at the I'm sorry now it's a little bit more personal because we're by appointment only so it's not like just anybody can just walk in now the one was different we can't go get a free cup of coffee free Wi-Fi no so since this one's the new studio I just kept everything just pink i didn't have no theme okay yeah so no hello kitty i feel like i could work in a pink room it'd be relaxing yeah you know our hard-headed agents i i spoke to somebody that uh that uh has a lot of pink wears a lot of pink or has a lot of pink in their office and i was like hey you know um i don't know i don't know if pink really gives uh i'm a professional or i'm serious about my career vibes you know and that person got really upset so needless to say she didn't join i think depends on the industry right yeah i think it depends on the industry does it but i mean have you heard about the the pink lawyer on tick tock i think that that is ridiculous i saw the movie in the 90s i wouldn't have the pink lawyer she got fired because she kept wearing pink to work no way so she opened up her own law firm and everyone wears pink now so she opened up her own law firm she went on instagram and she's still a joke you know it's like hey no seriously like like and that's the problem that's the problem with with any industry right you always get somebody who wants to do things their own way right now if you you know going into court with pink suits or or presenting yourself as pink and that's your that's what you do okay fine you know that's the type of person that you are then don't try to get into this industry go find something else that that will allow you to wear pink outfits every day right that's my thoughts right and once again my opinions right but but yeah this is like real estate you know um um i really dislike whenever you know people are showing you know homes in in a givenchy or you know t-shirt or a you know gucci glasses you know big louis vuitton glasses or like like men right or with a little purse a little man bag you know i'm like bro come on you know be professional you know if you think about this profession when you're getting into it you don't get into it to you know to go and and and have a freaking trio in the freaking living room you know you go to to be a real estate professional you know and so that's just my opinion once again what do you mean at three on the living room yeah i was kind of yeah the little bands you know people whatever i got into the business for the bands yeah like i said i specifically hire on that aspect no no no if you're noanda and you're looking to get into real estate got a job today no we're collecting all different types we have two right now we want two more yeah three more What I think is funny is that social media is actually what made people explore entrepreneurship, right? And it has helped everybody in their business, okay? The thing is that the two people that I really dislike that become entrepreneurs are the ones that should have never been a business owner to begin with. There's a lot of them out there. They should have never been a business owner. but social media gave them that platform so they do it then there's people that are in a professional level of business that they should be careful how they display that social media like the attorney you know that i don't want my freaking attorney on social media i just don't i i don't i don't think he's a serious person if he is and and that once again that's my opinion and and if that's my opinion that means that there's a lot of people out there that have the same opinion yeah i don't want to see my attorney on there i don't want him talking about you know any case you know because if you think about this right there's an attorney right now and it's funny because he's he's talking some real stuff he's an old guy he's telling talking about all these cases that he had right which is cool right but he already he's already giving his strategy to another attorney so that means that my if i my attorney could go over there watch his you know instagram and tear him up because he already knows what this guy's going to bring to the table but i'm push back on go ahead push because i don't think that's true i think you can give out your game plan your strategy everything as much as you have but you are the person who's implementing it if you're the master of that nobody else can implement it the way you do cool when you get an email address bit right email sorry from somebody right and they're complaining about another one of our real estate agents right and there's and they use all these chat gbt words right yeah when you go look why do you go look them up on instagram because i want to see i want to see what they're about yep and whenever you see they're they're they're just fluff what do you do ah about term i forget this guy and proceed but that's if they're just fluff if they're an actual professional realtor and you can say okay well this dude has to carry something so what i agree what i agree when they was talking about is is you know speaking about attorneys in general attorneys they they build their career off of of like of chess moves right everything that they say is strategic every word earns its place right when they're trying to close somebody convince somebody to do anything you know attorneys are great sales people and they have to have a strategy and and and they have to be calculated in every move that they make so if you're giving your strategies or you're giving your secrets out then that means that some you're giving somebody your game plan and they can use that to beat you right it's like when you have a chess board and you have these uh the ai or like i don't know there wasn't ai back then but right machine learning that that it's it's looking at the moves you're making and it gives you the seven best possible outcomes to beat you right it's it's with ai right now i can literally scrub your youtube video give me the strategies he most likely uses and then how i can combat those and i have an ai doing the work that tells me how to how to get one up on you and if i have no content you have no idea of how i'm coming at you or or what field i'm coming from the thing with ai of which i i do agree with what you're saying however you got to also take into place that ai is pulling from everywhere so the plans that ai is going to try to do to combat you a lot of times they're having this problem within uh with law firms right now they're using for for kids who are going to school they're using asking ai to pull certain information case studies and people have uploaded fake case studies and ai is pulling from fake case studies so ai is not 100 flawless and it can't yeah it can't combat who you are as a person and And if you go into that courtroom and you know how to convince the people who are going to say yes or no, this person's convicted, another person can't just go in there without your strategy, without you as a person who can carry that. In your scenario, that makes sense. In our scenario. I don't think there have been in the court. No. No, I don't know. I'm not a lawyer myself. In that court, in your scenario. I'm combating what you're saying. In that scenario, that makes sense. But what I'm or when it's speaking to and me kind of connecting on that topic, it's it's I'm going to go to your specific YouTube. So only things that you've put out or your specific Instagram, only things that you put out. So I'm not pulling from other. I'm not doing a Google search and pulling from you. I'm pulling from the video content with your face that you've done from your platforms. Right. And I has the ability to do that. That lawyer is better than you and they combat the other lawyer. The better lawyer is going to win, whether you know his strategy or not. But hold on. But it's going to make it back to the brokerage. I mean, if you do that, it's going to make an uphill battle. It's like, why even put yourself in that situation where you have to fight harder than what you have to? Then why even do content as a brokerage? Well, we're talking about attorneys. Well, yeah, no, this is overall. We're not attorneys, right? This overall conversation about business in general as a business owner. If social media, you're not necessarily scared. But if your tactic is saying, hold on, I'm finished. If your tactic is saying that if I put out there what I do for me, for my company and other companies to see, they're going to take it. Do you think the other companies just as good as you are? So you shouldn't put it out there? think you should only be scared if you feel like the other people are better than you yeah and i think we're talking about strategies in general right um i have full transparency um you know maybe this is gonna scare off my 40 viewers a a week um i'm not putting our company growth strategies online i'm not doing it that's what i was about to say i was gonna say this is not personal i want an example i watch busby okay busby has a podcast uh the attorney uh what's his first name tony tony busby okay oh okay i watch his podcast he is funny but check out what tony busby's talking about he says i don't like people who parallel park or or park backwards or whatever yeah you know in reverse reverse park in parking spots that's what he's talking about he's talking about his personality he's talking about things he doesn't like things whatever just just kind of almost joking around right he's not sitting there like other attorneys literally going through cases that they've fought and how they should fight and how they should not fight another thing too they're not going through you know their their life journey as a freaking attorney either where they put too much information out there where it's kind of like all right well this chick is just if she's a spiteful petty chick i don't i don't want to you know deal with her right so so with me i do the same if you look at my everybody's like oh why don't you do stuff about training why don't you do stuff about this why don't you do stuff about that i was like i don't want to let people know what i know about real estate or what i can do in real estate i want people to hear my personality you know that i'm no nonsense i'm about business you know i like to make fun of people you know that's what i want them to know so these attorneys that are there giving their strategy those are like and the people and also you know one thing i don't do on instagram is tell my problems you know you got some of these these these people like telling their problems and the struggles and the oh and you know and and how hard it is you know as a as you know whatever right whatever you are if you're a woman or you're gay or you're whatever you're minority like come on you know like you're really weak in my part in my opinion i don't want to use you done so then there is nuance to being on social media as a business owner okay well that was my point you're i don't we talk past each other yes no no i said nuance my point was that there isn't nothing wrong with your lawyer being on social media if you're saying they're going down specific by point by point exactly how they won their case i could see that point i still don't think that a better lawyer could be the best lawyer not just that but it also helps you know even with busby it helps to see what type of personality he has so whenever an attorney goes up against him he can definitely use that against him again we're talking about business owners in general i don't know too much about lawyers myself i'll be honest with that but business owners in general which i mean that's not a shot because i don't have never got into trouble so in general in general right as a business owner which this conversation is about you should be able or you should be on social media yeah all right business owner you're showing who you are we do agree with i i do agree with that i think that what i what i was gathering or i feel like nate's initial comment was about strategy specific um now going back into the whole social media like just full step stepping back and looking at business i think you absolutely do need to be on social media they need to know who you are who they're dealing with do and you know there will be some repercussions for that and you just have to decide if you're ready for those repercussions or not um i think a lot of business owners have opted not to be on social media because they don't want to deal with those repercussions and i you know i commend them great job um unfortunately for us here in real estate i think that we have to be um social and we have to be out there um top of mind for people and uh you know real estate's more of a marketing job you know the the the more experience i've got into real estate you know just realizing it's all marketing really and it's all about who could generally Jen better and and and you're gonna have to be on social media so for us there's there's no real option there and I think you know I think for any business starting you have to be out there yeah have to that's the okay so the nuances that you do have to do it just you don't give all the sauce those are the new ones so be careful mm-hmm exactly be ready for the repercussions that are coming that's good or bad don't really show who you are we're degenerate pretty much yeah definitely yeah social media is the new business card it's the new website it's the new everything nobody goes to your website to see what type of company you have nobody goes to your business card and tries to examine your business card they want to see what your social media page looks like and that's how they're going to judge you and choose you i looked up somebody's website on their business card and the domain was was not active and then i started looking at all the business cards i'm getting and a lot of the domains are not active so i think i think it's really funny i think a lot of people are maybe just listing a domain and they don't even have a website i've gotten a lot of business cards recently with you know uh inactive domains so so monica feel free to ever whenever you're looking for when you're looking for an attorney where do you go to find that attorney um google you google it yeah i think so i like to look at reviews and then um once i find somebody that i think i like then i go to the social media and then see what what they have going on would you use an attorney that you follow on instagram um if i usually i feel no yeah yeah i will say that my attorneys i think it depends on why you're right if you're following an attorney because of their lifestyle versus if you're following an attorney for what they actually do it's the same thing as a realtor am i following a realtor because she's hot or following richard because she gives good information i know she's going to handle my deal properly i think that's the nuance in the conversation you follow people because they're hot in instagram i used to to clarify i think a lot of people do and that's that's the problem that you know a lot of these girls think that oh you know therefore my instagram got me business or whatever and no it got uh it got somebody a free date you know he went and if you you don't see it that way but he did he showed up to your office or he showed up to a home and he was trying to see what you were about or is he to chaos you know TV without well we talked about ROI right that's a waste of time from they say they got a free date they got a free lunch $100 steak maybe our eyes there who knows and you see that for them that's why I'm trying to see who's taking Nate on dates he feels it's a waste of time no no it wastes our Realtors time how many we had call us and say hey this guy wasting my time you know all of this investor wanted to and then all of a sudden what happens an investor on I he was just you know wasting my time yeah you know and that's terrible part about it i don't think they even get steaks or drinks out of it they just some of them that's the sad part all right look i'm gonna say i'm gonna say i'm gonna say any realtor any realtors has been on my team knows how to get the money so we've gotten something that's terrible and i mean i think that's the important part of being professional in your your social media or the way you present yourself because it doesn't matter whether social media or out in public um the way they see you is the way that they're going to treat you so going back to what nate always tells us about dress code like nate always says you leave the house for your full-time and real estate you leave the house dressed like if you're going to go show your property same thing for any realtor the way you leave the house is the way you're going to get approached if you don't like to get approached in a certain manner is because how because of how you dress then switch up your song yeah you know and it's plain and simple i i will admit that i tell nate uh i i think i've been one of the biggest you know person that's giving you pushback for for professionalism or kind of dressing up and um you know anytime we go over our core values and nate doesn't remember them and i'm like bro one of them is literally just for you and it's uh professionalism my um you know i will notice as of as of these last three four years right with with my kids um i've worn some really questionable things i used to have a role like i don't care i'm not leaving the house unless i'm like dressed decent at least right now whether it was professional that's up for debate but i was dressed nice you know in my opinion and uh but now bro sometimes i've just had to leave the house in a rush you know just whatever have the whole house is falling apart i just have to go get diapers or whatever the hell i'm doing right so i in those situations i realize immediately how badly i'm being treated and i'm never treated bad so it's so it's like shocking to me that i'm like wait hold on like you know and then i'm catching myself because it's like my hair's a mess my freaking shirt probably has a hole in it i got like baby throw up on me i'm doing this i'm doing that and then i'm like well yeah probably like a freaking maniac you know like you know so i get it and then and then i went for a period right now that i was just dressing you know just way more casual than what we've done our whole career and mainly because we're more in the office now and i'm more back office and you know and i felt like i can you know dress these way but then i'm noticing i'm getting disrespected everywhere that i'm at and i'm not used to it i'm i'm not i'm not used to it and quite honestly i don't think i'll ever get used to it you know so and i don't i don't want to get used to that feeling so it's like dress up feel good about yourself they'll give people will give you the respect people appreciate you dressing up it doesn't have to be brand new things expensive clothes it doesn't have to be any of that it just put the effort in and people appreciate the effort and i think monica can attest to this because i'm pretty sure a lot of your clients they come in feeling one way like i know with a barber right whenever i go get my haircut has been grown for three freaking weeks i feel different when i walk out of there for sure you get a test too with your clients to come in and get their nails done as well yeah i feel like they look they feel like a brand new person every time they go because then they get their nails done especially your nose because that's what people like look at and whenever you're talking to them or the hand shaking stuff so do they go in pajamas or like in house shoes or um so no i don't think i have clients that go like that but i have seen i've seen some people yeah look crazy so that's the biggest thing that i always tell you know um you know people who have a nine-to-five job or an hourly job or whatever They want to become entrepreneurs, right and and I always tell them look, you know, if if you can't, you know And it's the always those people right? Oh wait, just waiting on Friday. Oh, I hate Mondays. Oh hump day Oh, you know, it's five o'clock somewhere, you know those people right? I always tell those people or just stay where you're at and and be and be a functioning Member of society so that we can have a career here, you know, we can make money, you know Because those are the people that that they think that being an entrepreneur means that you can wake up whenever you want yeah and you can do whatever you want and you can you know you don't have to do anything you know and and and and so what happens with that is that you know when you're at home the day goes like that you know and and you do supposedly you do little favors for yourself right trying to you know oh i mean it's monday tuesday whatever let me go drop off the cleaners right let me go to the store we can buy this hey you know what let me fix this tire hey you know what let me whatever right next thing you know you spend a whole week and nothing productive for your business you do nothing but pretty much a errand boy you know for yourself or errand girl right and so and so that's what i always tell people you know treat it like a job you don't want to get up at seven o'clock in the morning you or whatever you eight o'clock in the morning don't but when you get up get up get dressed make sure you're ready to seize the day make sure you're ready to get if somebody calls you you can jump up and go and meet this person that's what you have to be ready for and and a lot of people don't want to do that they don't want to work for themselves they want you know bank holidays and they want to go hang out with their friends or frickin Labor Day or Veterans Day Martin Luther King Day the King Day my favorite day yeah and Juneteenth baby you just can't do it as an entrepreneur in my opinion the first you know five years you're you're you're not a vacation guy you're not you're not you can't be hanging out with the weekend warriors is what I call them you know you can't hang out with the weekend wars because they don't have your same mindset you know yeah i i quite honestly five years in the in in in our business before i even kind of took our first vacation um and i think even then after five years i had some great opportunities to take a lot of trips and do a lot of things my wife was a flight attendant and i could have gone everywhere anywhere at any time and um i definitely one of my biggest regrets is not taking more trips but i just didn't have the time and we couldn't um i i wanted to i do regret it um but but you know we're building something here and uh in retrospect you know hopefully we keep building and i get to take better vacations and writing on buddy passes because those are brutal but uh but we had you know we had opportunities and and i i you know i didn't take them you know and and it's because we're building something here you and you have to you have to make the sacrifices you have to skip those you know the those those things um i think when i did take vacations it was to see my wife because she hadn't been home in a couple days and i'd just go fly with her for a bit to spend some time but um other than that i i wouldn't call those vacations really got to see some places but not really vacationed you know so now that we've covered on the branding side what you should shouldn't do or what we consider to be good or bad on there what are you doing to like stand apart from all of the noise specifically on social media i know you've built a pretty good brand for yourself on social media but you're also doing a gala right that's coming up you want to tell us about kind of like your thought process between that and you're doing that to like also expand your your what i would say brand and also authority within your sphere um yeah so um pretty much the gala is so um different creators and business owners meet each other and meeting new content creators from social media and just like like you said, building a brand, getting to know each other, and I think it'll be perfect for my salon as well, because it's going to be in the same building, it's just going to be on the 20th floor, so I will have the event going on there, but, sorry, but they can go to the 17th floor, that's where my salon is at, and they can take a tour. So the gala is pretty much a whole day event, um it's gonna be in the morning it's gonna be um sound bath at 9 a.m um so it's like meditation and then after that it's at 10 a.m and 11 a.m it's gonna be another uh pilates session so that's like trending right now with the girls and stuff so it's just for women um no it's uh women and men i don't appreciate the hesitation yeah well i have came across guys that do yoga so you know yeah yeah they're everywhere straight guys um i don't know i was in a dad i was in a dad group and i made fun of them for pilates and i got kicked out so that's terrible so let me let me ask you guys guys they wanted to do uh you know how they were training and they were doing the dad meetups like on sundays and they're like should we go run or should we do pilates i was like i was like leave the pilates to the girls yeah and like hey bro we we're not gender bashing or something here i was like all right bro i was like why i am and they were like you need to hit me with like you need to leave yeah they said exit i was like i was on my way out anyway so uh i have a question i ended well actually yeah a question but i have an opinion right i figure that it wouldn't be too hard um for you to be successful as a nail tech because it's dominated by asian people right their business so all you have to do is just be different right speak speak english and do what you do what they want right because i man i fight remember i'll be fighting with my with my uh lady does a pedicures i'd be fighting with her because she don't listen to me i said no no and she and she she she says pull up the grinder yeah she said she said you like pink no i like my mind i get the natural buff right but i want it with the little machine the little roller but she's trying to do it with this so many times you know it's like a little sponge on a drill but i have a hard time they don't listen they and then once they're done they're done they're like no no no no your nails messed up or no it's your finger man come on look you know do it straight so does that give you more business or does or have just having so much competition really hurt your business with the prices i don't think there's a lot of competition um because you have to make yourself different obviously um but yeah i do feel like a lot of people do rather go to an independent nail tech just because you have the same language and like you said do what i tell you to do um also because you get to actually build your relationship with your service provider so you know a lot of my clients they've been coming to me for eight years um so we basically know each other we know everything about each other you know and i think like you you said you've been going to your nail tech for a long time but do you know anything about her no do you does she know anything about you know so yeah yeah some girls i'm like us we like to vent and talk to each other and stuff like that you know some people just go over there and just get the service and go why did you say us and ben and point at me i haven't been to me but i will no you know i got a i got a manicure and pedicure in uh in mexico and they came to my room and like did the she brought her all her stuff and she hooked it up she was really good i don't know i'm gonna give a controversial take here you know if i would see a place that said like soul food right and i walk in there and there's a bunch of caucasian men i'd probably be like i don't know i don't know so i don't know if i walk into the salon i don't see no asians in there i'm gonna be like i'm guessing they're they're cajun i don't think i don't think um do you have that issue i think at the beginning yes but that's because it was there weren't a lot of um other neltics that were different races and stuff so i feel like yeah i did get comments like that like what are you doing else if you're not asian are you even good yeah i did get those yeah yeah but the asians aren't even that good no even with like dry cleaners like my favorite dry cleaner he's hispanic my favorite director is a hispanic dude he does great yeah i went to i mean they're all owned by the asians but the workers where the hispanic ones are the best for sure well my guy he's hispanic he owns his dry cleaner midtown dry cleaners good customer service great yeah you know one time i took a suit of mine to one to another dry cleaners that was i'm not gonna say what race but it was owned by another race right and i got my clothes back and it just smelled like chemicals it's so strong yeah and that's how i met this dude i just randomly found him down here just cruising downtown and i was like you know let me go see if they can figure it out i took it like literally with the bag and everything i said i just got your scooter how are you yeah no i was this before i had moved to downtown so i've known this dude for years now so i take it in there and i had the cover on and everything straight out of dry cleaners i told him like hey why does it smell like this and he looked at me i said bro like just smell it like it's straight out of the dry cleaners he's like oh it's because they they buy their chemicals in big old batches and whenever you buy a big old batch it comes in a plastic container and the plastic container starts to leach so it smells like those big plastic containers that stink and he was like that's why it's because they just buy in bulk and then they don't ever like run through it he's like here what we do we small we buy small batches that way your clothes never stinks and i've never had that problem over there and he's making as a matter of fact i've been trying to bring them over here to the podcast you know the guy the cleaners by our house used to break all the buttons on my shirts oh yeah like how are you breaking my buttons you know so i i stopped using that guy too or my suits like this the lapel side they make it super wrinkly yeah i've never had i haven't had that problem with this dude and i've been going on for they put too much heat and the and the the canvas and the inside starts coming undone but that means you have a felt canvas so you got a cheap suit i don't know if i didn't have cheap suits i don't know if this is a hacker if it's common knowledge right but um i used to drop off the dry cleaning with myself all the time and uh mainly because i felt like it was just a drop off so i felt like it was my help to the household i was like yeah i'll see the dry clean i'll drop it off cool no big deal um the moment that i gave that task back to my wife whole my dry cleaning is so much better like she has a great relationship with the people at the place they know her they talk to her they talk to the kids it's exciting i go in there they're like oh where's your wife like i don't know they're like they're like super rude to me but they're so nice to my wife and she freaking like friends with like all the girls there so i you know hack is you know i don't know i felt like that was my contribution to the household i was really shooting myself in the foot so don't contribute to your household like your get married and have your wife do all that you go out there work and earn it oh that was what nate was saying and my wife ran a nail tech empire and i'd be at home yeah no she she enjoys it though so it's fun she enjoys when my clothes comes out way better than what it used to i don't complain as much so it's always a win all right guys well that's we're going to exit out let them know where they can find you again are you inviting people to the gala or was it already like a set rsvp um no so you can um buy your ticket at eventbrite um i put it there but you can also go on the Most business owners say they want “loyal clients” but they run their day like they’re chasing quick transactions, not building relationships. In this episode, we sit down with Monica Garcia, Houston nail tech and owner of The Pink Spa & Lounge, to talk about what it really takes to create a client base that rides with you for years. We get into customer experience, professionalism, social media, how you show up in public, and why the way you live your “entrepreneur life” is either attracting loyalty or pushing it away. In this conversation, you’ll hear about: Why customer service is the first thing to disappear when business gets hard and how to get it back The difference between clients who use you once and clients who see you as their person How your clothes, attitude, and social media presence quietly teach people how to treat you What Monica did to stand out in a saturated, stereotype-heavy industry and build 8+ year relationships Why entrepreneurs who treat their business like a “day off” never build anything long-term How events, community, and real connection can turn your brand into a magnet If you’re tired of feeling replaceable and want clients who come back, refer you, and actually respect what you do, this episode will show you what needs to change and give you hope that you can still build that kind of business.
