Howdy folks, how are we doing? So yeah, as you can tell, we're on the old PUD cart. So this was, did I film in it? No, I didn't film in here, I don't think. This is where we started the silage last year. So dogleg field, a lot of long runs up in front of us, and this bit is a bit shorter, but still quite long. So, look we've got some fallow deer up ahead. Is that a... maybe a mum and a... no they're going to rock... no no sure that's a mum and a thorn that is. Because that one, the furthest one, don't look very big at all. Well don't go through there, that's the railway line. Go back in the wood. That's where they've obviously been. They'll find somewhere. Yeah so whilst I'm moving a bit of pud, the boys are down there, they're just going to be digging out a... ditch that goes down the side of the field, clearing a bit of wood up and so forth. Yeah so you can tell the job we last did with the C8C system, with the fast track really. The first proper job was, can you see, teagle flail. That was when we actually filmed that as well so we were flailing in here. So what we need to do though is go into the menu, easy to do. just scroll down the side here to find the dribble bar click on that apply click it there you go that's loaded successfully so now we've got the dribble bar on um and you can see look it's quite good see the the nav lines are going this way well that's because that bit we just come up that is the way you do it so it's longer runs like so We need to change the nav line, but before we need to do that, we need to just start a new task, so we clear the coverage. Click down the bottom. Our own job in. Slurry, we'll do. We'll know what that job is then, won't we confirm that? Oh, probably because I slurried in here last time. So we'll do that again then. We'll put slurry 2026. Slurry 2026. 26 there we go successful and then I've got to think now so we're going to 8 no been a little while no that one no that one there you go guidelines I had to think which one it was I haven't used it since last September or whenever it was Everton Road North apply that that's on so now yeah the AB lines are going 90 degrees to us at the minute up there so we'll get folded up. We are ready to go, sat that wise. Right, so that's that, that's that. So if we look in the mirror, start unfolding. We'll get two near to the fence while we do it. Is that open? There you go, we're unfolded. See, we're just coming onto a line now. This will be a bit of a short line, but we'll engage. We need to change that as well. Now I do, I've got to remember, so it's putting coverage on as soon as I engage the auto steer. I've got to disengage that first, which I don't want, I want to do it manually. Inter settings, navigation settings, I think. There you go, coverage login. We want switch mode. There you go, confirm that. Apply. Right, so now when we activate the auto steer, there you go, yeah, it's not logging. so I can be accurate where I start and stop. So that'll do. Right. We want to pick a low gear. We'll try fourth low. I think what I'm doing, so we want to change that to macerate. Just check that that's worked. Yeah, it's not folding. PTO on. We can now press coverage because we want to... Here are a few revs. Put that on to RPM. Pull that. That opens the valve. should be going now all right what's going on here then yeah that's right isn't it i'm sure that's right let's go and check oh dear yeah macerate is going is the valve not uh yeah that's curious one oh what's going on there must be that valve not uh not opening it's we've popped out the back here didn't think we have ah yeah that's what it is there you go try that again now It looked like that was still in. That's got it. Right. Right, we'll try again now. Open that. That looks a bit better. Ah, there we go. That's a simple fix. Yeah, there we go. That's recording nicely so we can... I mean, obviously, without short the grasses, you can quite easily see what you have and haven't done. But it's nice to log it on there as well. Yeah, only another, I don't know, 70 loads to go somewhere. Something like that. It looks like I've cracked myself because I tweaked my back earlier and inside my groin hurts. So I'm literally falling apart. Yeah, it's not good. That's my manual count. We'll have a quick look up top. See how much we've got out. No doubt it'll be probably nearly empty by now. Also, this is the sixth load going on. Let's see if I can get my lanky fat arse up here. Sorry about the grunting. Oh, yeah, it's nearly empty, look. Well, we're at a little bit out, haven't we? Not bad for six loads. But, yeah, there's a good few left in here, aren't there? Good few left in here. Right, we'll get back down. I can't have any apologies for the granting. I'm close up in my face. Oh yeah. Yeah. How much is in that tank? It nearly filled the tanker on, well just gravity. I think it would just about. I remember on, I think it was last year, someone commented about how unkept it is, why isn't it not sort of kept tidy? Well this bit where I'm working is tidy but the bees are absolutely loving this rough bit like there's not so many about now as there was you'll probably do well to see them on the camera quite as easy but loads of little little bees about busy working getting the honey i'm not sure what type of bees they are they're only little ones really only little ones and there's a surprising amount of different um different types of bee in the uk like it's not just like you're bumbling your only bee like there's there's i did here a little while back and there's like 30 or 40 or even more than that can't remember off top yet but it was a lot anyway but yeah they're loving it jingling about all in there so yeah there's no point in you know if anyone comments there's just no point what's the point in trimming all that up like bees are loving it there we go see if i can do it all one-handed without spitting trying to leg it across here just shut the valve while it empties the pipe Oh, yeah, I'm like Quasimodo. Not that in neutral, not the PTO off. Yeah, I'm really not fit. Yeah, that is off. Yeah, you're a bit of a bigger one, ain't you? Yeah. Yeah, there's about 30 of them all sort of cruising around here earlier. Anyway. Shut this air valve. And then, yeah, we'll head up the road. Pull that into pressure, like so. Oh, look who we got! Look who we got! Look at poor Flo! Got all the flashy flashes on? Looking good. Talking of flashy flashes and lights... Right, stay there, stay! Stay, you lunatics! Watch Flo! Be careful! So, these turned up the other day from UTV. Now, I've talked about these at La Moran, I think, Agbi Technica. These are some really sexy lights that I've got to put on the, I wouldn't have replaced all of them really on the fast track, but I've got these just to see what they actually do look like on the tractor. So, obviously four LED work lights there, and then the halo, there's a white halo around the outside, as well as it can be an orange strobe as well, so sort of multi. What are you doing? Get off that lid, you'll break it you fat git. So yeah, we'll have a look at them fitted at some point. Oh, you had to get down, did you Fodge? So we've got everyone. We've got Rodders. Got the Del Boy. Pit Pop. Are you alright, Pit Pop? What's that, Pit Pop? Oh yeah. So we've got a full cab. Careful. The trouble is with these long tails, they are a bit lethal. Our flow is getting around the chops. Hey, hey Rodders. Del Boy! Right, can I come in? Hey, can I come in you lot? What have you done with the flow now? What have you done with the Del Boy? You sat on there or something? Watch out, now watch out. Poor flow. Right, poor flow. Let me get in. Let's get the thing that's sorted. What? Del, just calm down. So, bit of a pup update. Del still doesn't like Rodney. Doesn't mind Pip, because Pip's obviously a girl. But, yeah, he still finds Rodney a bit of a... Must be as a bit of a threat. But, I mean, Rodney's not a threat to anyone, only himself. He is a little bit thick. And you Rodders just stood there in front of the camera. Yeah, and I keep telling Del, I keep saying, like, you know, play with him, you'll have a great time. Take him under your wing. he'll be your number two. But they're all just like, nah, I don't want nothing to do with him. So, but obviously they, you know, Pip and, uh, Pip and Rodney played together a lot you wouldn't believe. As, you know, you know, as being brother and sister they would be. So, Flo, Flo doesn't care. Um, she tends to attack Pip. Um, but it's like 100% attack with 0% damage because she can't catch Pip. If she does, she tries to bite her. She's got no teeth to bite her with, so Pip doesn't really care at all. But she's flow so old and, I'll use the word decrepic, a bit like me, a bit decrepic like me. But she generally doesn't know thereabouts. But yeah, other than that, settled in well. Pip's quite a bit cleverer than Rodney. Rodney's a bit thick, really, like I've just said. But Pip, you know, she can give you your paw, quick as a sit, lay down and all those sort of things. Although Rodney is a bit better at a comeback. I think probably because he's just a little bit, a little bit, I don't know, shyer. Not quite as confident, whereas Pip, you know, she's a... confident as you know as anything like nothing nothing scares and nothing phases a pit so you don't care at all and you'll quite happily wander off a bit further on your own but rodney who's just hogging off brothers rodney what are you sitting in there you're gonna show people your bum hole now yeah what are you doing so um yeah so you're a bit better at callback into rodders but uh coming along well coming along well um sunning up coming up fairly soon that would be good if you could lend your support to is, you've probably seen and heard, well you no doubt have seen and heard, Britain's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent, the Hawks and Farmers Choir got to the semi-finals. So to help them get through to the finals, you have to go on to itv.vote to be able to register a vote and then you can vote for them. in the semi-finals, hopefully they get to the finals, that'd be good for them. That's all in aid of or to raise awareness for mental health in farmers, which we all, you know, any of us in the business know all too well about, like, you know. But it's a struggle at times being in mental health. These little things, they help no end. It's unbelievable how much of a help little dogs are. Well, not just little dogs, dogs in general, but, you know, I love me little dogs. They're a great benefit if you're struggling with mental health because, well, apart from Del, who is a miserable git, he's always happy to see you. There's never no judgment. They're just waggy tails, lick you in the face. Always happy to see you. So, it's all right, Rodders? Oh, no, Flo. Oh Flo, what are you doing? Flo, you better get your back end down Flo. We're nearly at the field Flo, just hold on. The back end is tucked into the bedding. The front end is, well, doing a yoga pose. That's what it's doing. Hold on, Fodge. Hold on, hold on. Hold on, Mosher. We'll sort you out. We're here. Poor Fodge. Let me... Sorry for me. That's not the most difficult position, is it, Fodge? Poor Fodge. Come on, it's... On me leg. I can't even help either. Come on, Fodge. Get him to the bottom, Meg. That'll be safer. That'll be safer. Oh, dear. Chaos. Right, we'll carry on with our job now. Yeah, we're all sorted now. But Del still doesn't like being sniffed or touched by any other dog, which doesn't help. But you get in a situation like this where he's got to rub shoulders with his mortal enemy, Rodney, there. It's not so bad, is it, Del? Del boy. Del boy. Del, what are you doing? Look at that, Del boy. Pip's. Yeah, Pip couldn't care less. She's going to sleep. All right, there, Pip-Pop. Ron is saying this, quite exciting this is, where are we off to? Even Fodge is like, you know, quite interested in what we're doing. You can't, you won't even be able to see any rabbits or hares or deer or anything Fodge. I mean yeah she's really got probably about 10 foot's worth of eyesight I reckon. Like yeah, when she's out in the back garden, you can only sort of get her attention because She's fairly deaf as well. You can only get her attention when she's within 10 foot of the door. You sort of like make some movement. She goes, oh yeah, that way, his door's open. So, what are you plodding on, ain't you, Fodge? It is actually, I'm sure it was this morning, Liz said it was actually a year to the day that Penny passed on. Poor old Penny. Yeah, I made that bit of a tribute to her. And I'll tell you what, I was looking for, actually when I was doing the McCormick video. I was looking for music for the cinematic bit in that line and I was going through my favourites because you can, you know, on the site you can put decent tracks into your favourites and I come across the song that I use for that video and it made me tearful just hearing it like, you know, what I did I just sort of like just listened to it, you know, just for a few minutes like. and just you know I was able just to think of the old Penny Poo lights so yeah I hope she's up there with all her mates having a good time. Right just parking her up for the day. Yeah we've moved a few loads today we've got quite a few more to do. Another thing that's coming up in I think it's the 1st of August you'll see on the screen now is a Ford stroke Fordson World Record attempt coming up. Harts County Showground. There'll be all the usual things you associate with the show, craft stands, main arena. The aim is to get, I think, 2,600 Ford and Fordstone tractors all in the same area. Which is a big ask. I know there's a lot of tractors about, but... If you're interested, all the details are on screen at the minute. Give old Hilly a ring. He's an expert at these things. Hilly is the chap that organises the Christmas tractor run and does the Wickliffe steam rally. So, he's given himself another job. But yeah, fancy that. Ring him up. If you've got a Ford or Fordson, fancy going, being part of the record. Let him know and it should be a good day log. Anyway, Friday today, as I record this, which means pub burger day. So, yeah, burger and chips for tea. Should be good. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that. I'll see you on the next one. Ta-ta.

Starting to put some slurry on and I have some "help" from Flo, Del, Rodney and Pip
