Howdy folks, how we doing? So we're really getting in the festive spirit for the track to run. I've got Mr Snowman here with his little sign, Santa's stop here. So that's on me last time I stuffed him in the front of the box, but... Well, steady, steady. Oh no! No! Oh no, look at his belly. What are you doing, mate? Oh no. It's all gone disastrously wrong, has he? stop blowing air or something i reckon he's had a few too many sherrys it is important to get these little pumps um so that they don't get blocked up which is not easy come on oh well he's being he's being a bit of a knob as soon as we get the camera out he's like i'm not having this but anyway yeah he will ride on the front we'll have a couple of canes cable tied up just to keep him from flopping about like he did last year oh There you go, tractor has auto stopped. We'll just catch Santa before he dies. Santa's in the back. He's busy dying now. He's alive? Yep. But again, we've got the canes in the back to hold him up this year. We've got the lights all going on. Paul's got my one all lit up. We've got the trailer on ready for Darren when he gets here. Yeah, twinkle, twinkle. All right, so we're all ready. Lights all on. Darren's tractor's on. Yeah, time to get down the road. Just to crash, to have a big crash at the roundabout. Yeah, just on the way down the Bulldog. We've got the big man behind us on the 3170. We all tracked her on. Yeah, he's on the roundabout. There's no point in me trying to turn the camera around. No, no. Yeah, it's getting dark. It's not ten past four. It's ten past three, obviously, isn't it? so at least it's dry oh yeah at least it's dry not too cold here so it should be some good crowds about anyway there's a few turning up already lot and we're i think we're two hours away from start at the minute Darren's all lit up we're unstrapped oh what are you waiting for nearly fell off the ramps lunatic find a gear that's good that is good isn't it Right, so it's not long now before go time. Father Christmas, he's looking solid, sounds a pound, standing tall and proud. Unfortunately, Snowman didn't want to know. His motor had packed up, so even though we changed plugs and everything like that, unfortunately he's not on the front. Bit of a shame, because it looked good with the old Snowman on the front as well, but I'll have to get something else for next year. and they're only done two hours it's all that motor done like but there you go hopefully this you know father christmas's motor will keep going anyway there's a load and loads and loads of really good tractors here um this is just a small selection like small slice are you fired yours up yeah or not no are you gonna get it going oh look there's um the jubilee yes t7 300 with a little groovy uh yeah yeah look at that she beautiful beautiful you know unfortunately it's been raining now for about an hour hopefully it'll uh it'll ease up there she goes beautiful nice 8330 there look look at the pipe on that oh that's nice that's very nice yeah so uh yeah good turnout hopefully it'll be a good run so you ready for the off then mr saunders yeah we're just about to go He obviously didn't co-pilot his tractor run because Michael's not very well at the minute. So he sends his regards. We send his love back to Kurt, hope he gets better soon. Yeah, here we go. We literally just left the field and got to the outskirts of Bulldog. We've never been this busy, just people around considering the weather as well. It's really, really nice to see. Really nice to see. It's never been this round before. Brilliant. People love Santa. It's a shame we haven't got snowman on the front. But you can see all the little kids pointing at Santa as we go past. They just sort of twig Santa in his arm. Yeah, their little faces just light up a lot. It's a shame snowman's not on the front because that gets people... smiling as well, but it's just great to see, really great to see. I haven't got enough arms in the world to wave to everyone. You do have to still keep your eyes about you, because obviously it's just people who have had to see what cars on the road as well. Dogs have come out as well. You've got to keep your eyes peeled. You can't really lose concentration when you're this many folk about. Another little kid whose face is completely dropped. Look at Sam, look at him, come in here, Sam. Wow! Even the people in the car are getting held up. Look at Sam! They love him. Literally, we have people the whole way round. The roundabout, all of the exits and entrances to the roundabout are completely and utterly rammed. Here we are six o'clock on the Sun. Here we are six o'clock on a Sunday evening, are we? Yeah, I don't think I see I haven't seen so many cars in Tesco's car park in my life before Obviously Tesco's is closed, but the car park is full That's us through the first town of Bulldog. I've never seen so many people on in my life The arms, we were just saying, we need to get one of those little machines with an arm, so it's just going to, yeah, just keep wiping. The tractor, two in front, keeps just flashing his headlights, so he's trying to do the opposite of Kurtwood normally, Joe. Yeah, Kurt would have blinded about 10,000 people by now. Coming to the next town, which is Letra, so we're just on the outskirts. I just can't believe what the public are doing. well we've just seen a santa on a scooter there's people with christmas jumpers on christmas lights on they're just sort of all taking it in as well it's such a community brings a community out and together like that's the that's the thing there's very few things these days that do that like and it's like damn near the whole town's come out to watch these tractors come past and it just puts a smile on your face look it really does and the amount of people as we're going past that um you can see him look i'll make you there just like he points straight away and like um sound from the back like the little kids they they're they're aghast big old santa like they love him not just the kids some of the adults are as well aren't they it's all ages like it's not just the youngins the only disadvantage is the rain's now settled in a bit more than what it was earlier I don't think some people are particularly worried about it. They all seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. You might be able to tell it's absolutely hammering it now. It's really quite heavy rain. Everyone's prepared. Waterproofs, umbrellas. Some people have bought their gazebos. We've seen a couple of families with gazebos. Darren's behind us with the mighty T-dub. He gets to wave to Santa all evening. They've got their fish and chips or something to take home with them. We've been to Bulldog Services recently. There's a fish and chip shop in there now. So we're now going to go the wrong way. We are going the wrong way around one-way system at the moment. It just makes it so much easier for the tractors. Otherwise you'll end up with a big loop and then tractors trying to cross each other. Yeah, we really must get a replacement snowman for next year. spares mind you we've just been past a house uh they've got a penguin a gingerbread man there's all sorts of different ones you can get some little kids just scream merry christmas santa we've obviously got a camera recording them i probably think 50 of the people out there are recording us in the distance you can see middle or the end of the tail It's all ages that are out, isn't it? It puts a smile on everyone's faces. Hitchin turns to the last town on the run. People still haven't been put off by the weather. They've probably been waiting probably half an hour already for us to get their prime position. It's like having a party at the house. They've got a casino, actually they've got a few glasses of vino. I love Santa. Everyone seems to be having a competition as who's got the brightest lights or who's got the loudest horn, isn't it, at the moment? Finding Santa. Look, I'm watching it from afar. You've got some attractions on for the kids and everything. I think they're a bit too small for us. To the public out tonight. There's been tens of thousands of people riding the route. It's great to see. Darren in the TW behind, keeping his horn at us. More at the public, I think. A bit tight down here. Engines and they're running steam. as well really small ones i couldn't get a video because um i only saw this we'd literally just come past attracted it definitely wouldn't be fw would you it's all still taken by santa people in the restaurant i got a good view look it worked well anyway yeah just under two hours so lots of people happy be nice if every one of the people we've seen today donated a quid that would be a lot of money a lot of money But yeah, hopefully we've raised a fair few quid. We've certainly made a lot of people happy today. All I've seen for the past two hours is smiling faces of a lot of people waving, people pointing at Father Christmas. So yeah, very, very good job by everyone involved. So yeah, so apart from some excessive use of the horn by certain drivers, even though like at the start we were told like, you know, don't overuse your horn. You know, because, like I say, people don't want it. Little kids just holding their ears because of these air horns so loud. Just give them a boop, boop, boop. Not... Just bovine, idiotic anyway. Different finishing place this year. Very nice place, actually. Very nice priory. And, yeah, we're on grass, so we are making a little bit of a mess. But... Yeah, other than that, it's been a hell of a run. Hopefully we've made a lot of people happy. I mean, look at the effort that's gone to that. Lovely old friend as well. What's she, an 820? 818. Very nice, that is. TMS. Darren's TW. He's up in his game next year. I think he's looking for a snow cannon. There's Santa. Still standing tall. He's a giant. He's put a big smile on a lot of people's faces this year. As we go, like I said in the video, you can see people, oh look, there's Santa, there's Santa. Loving him a lot. So next year I should get some more small ones. He's off, Mr John Deere. Yeah, so I'm going to get a couple more for the front. get another snowman and a spare for the front and i'll get another spare santa for the back in case he packs up as well like so but yeah big thanks to oliver lampauer for giving me the icon 4220 icon to come around in absolutely beautiful beautiful machine of course next year we'll be looking at the big brother of this the 6000 series as soon as that comes available we'll be giving that a good test If you are able to donate, there'll be a link in the description and the top comment taking you to the Just Giving page. So if you've got a few quid you can spare, it all makes a big difference. And in a few videos time, I'll let you know what the total is we raised. Because it's, like I say, a very good cause. Letchworth Garden House Hospice. Thanks for watching. I'll see you on the next one. Ta-ta!
