Благотворительный Dyno Day в Хантингдоне

FW (Ford?)

Rodney boy, what are you doing? What are you watching? What are you doing? Oh, Rodney boy, lanko. All right, lanky legs. Howdy folks, how are we doing? So we are just, got a bit of sulfur on at the minute. I'm just waiting for the fertilizer spreader to arrive. But we've got a bit of viewing. We've got a very tasty Fent, I think it's a 942, 7th hour kv. LD 85? I don't know. I'm a bit out of my KV plows, but it should be an LD, I would have thought. LO? I don't know what they are. What do you reckon, Rodders? So I've just got Rodders at the minute. Good boy, Rodney. You're watching? So Pipp's being a little bit ill today. But this is Rodney's first... rodney's first day out on the tractor well loader if you will yeah smart rig that isn't it very smart turning over lovely as well just sort of drying up quite nicely at the minute nice old plows they are nice plows nice tractor hey rodney do you like a fent rodney do you like a fent boy do you rodney you lunatic rump went along the old 942 it's a big old plow that is hey rodney and he's off yeah it's turning over a treat hey rodders rodney oh really boy come on anyway we've done that field down there you're just seeing the distance which is over there now so we've shut this gate so we can go around there now and um we might load him up again here we might go to the next field we'll see see what he's got left when he's done so you've got well with your first uh trap to ride in here rodney first time at dell in a few years ago now he was sick on me but you haven't been sick of you boy no he's busy looking out see what you can see certainly got some long old legs ain't you boy yeah yeah good boy uh so we've got uh what's today wednesday a couple more days and over at god manchester at huntington matt and basil's farm um just on cambridge road just off the old a14 there We've got the Charity Dyno Day coming up again in aid of FCN and Yana. We've got over 20 tractors coming. All sort of different types, you know, everything from, like I've said before, everything from majors to some modern stuff to classic stuff, modern classic. My particular one that I'm looking forward to having a look at is a John Deere 8100. Fingers crossed he's coming. Should be, I mean, yeah, what an iconic tractor. John Deere 8000 series. So that'll be good to see that. We'll be doing the charity auction as well at sort of dinner time. There'll be various things you can bid on to win. I'm putting a couple of bits in. Nothing too major. A plier set in one of my mugs. One of them mugs there, but with the FW on it. Very good mugs they are. There'll be various things you can win, day shooting, all sorts of different stuff. It's all in aid of a good cause, and it rodders. So, yeah, Saturday starts 9, half nine-ish, somewhere around there. I'll just probably get there about half nine because I've got to feed the cows in the morning. So, yeah, we'll see. We will see. But, yeah, it should be good. It should be good. And I think the weather... I mean obviously we're not far many days down the road now and it's uh it's at least there might be the odd light shower but that is roughly about it like it's not going to be um you know it's not going to pee it down all day and it should be fairly warm hopefully like so uh yeah should be a good day so hopefully we'll see you there like we've got a bit of a pond there rodders haven't we this is where the mucky was was it last year could have been last year yeah hence why we've got a pond there like because it's just that's what happens when you have a have a mucky but you end up with a pond so all right we'll get out you really get out you're getting a bit cold well you're warm but there's a little bit of shivering going on in the rodders hey hey good boy you enjoying yourself yeah you're enjoying yourself big man good boy come on in there you go good lad watch out then turn this off a minute Yeah you doing? Come in. Come on in. Come on Rodders. Come on you jumped down a minute ago. Come in. Come on Rod. Rodney. Come on in. Oh Rodney boy. Even this sort of wet bit is held up quite well isn't it look. What's up for you Rodders? Hey boy. What is up with the Rodney? Oh dear. Poor Rodney. Oh yeah. Yeah. Crops are looking you know pretty well really. you know it's just they're just starting to uh you know they're just starting to move a bit like you know it's uh warmer temperatures not major today at the minute but uh warmer temperatures oh dear poor rodney anyway let's tidy these bags up shall we are you gonna help me tidy these bags up big man yeah good boy oh land rain's running at a fair speed you can see you see it coming out there there's a fair amount coming out although this is well it's moving slowly it's not it's quite full the ditch so yeah let's have a look at the um that's an old drain in and have a look at this other one here it's one we put in two year ago now i think there's a bit can't see too much that marks where it comes out can't see too much water rushing out of there but then again it is under in it A bit of blanket weed there. Quite surprising. Back at the bale stack. Another load of bales. I think it's got a bit muddier since last time. But just give the whole load a poopful. She smashes her way through. Just starting to brighten up a smidge. Only a bit though. Yeah, no, last weekend me and Darren went to a... you've probably seen the video, a Dino Day, Cherry Dino Day down near Chelmsford and which was nice nice to see some different tractors yeah that was a rabbi organized one and it was quite good some nice bits of kit there like, nice to meet a few folk Yeah, that was, you know, it was a native rabbit. I'm not sure how much they raised, but hopefully a good few quid. Seems to be quite a few dyno days going on at the minute, but it's all for charity, isn't it? All for charity. So it's all good. Yeah, fast trackies, she'll be going on Saturday and we'll be going on unless... You know, basically, I take her as a backup. I mean, she's been on, what, two times, three times, something like that. So there's no need for her to go on, but, you know, if it's time, sort of end of the day, everyone else has been on, she can go on and make a bit of noise, see what she's doing. Yeah, so, FW update. Basically fully serviced now. Now, Darren's been very kindly doing that. you know, sort of now and again when he's passing that because he's more local to where it is than I am. And we got it, what did we do the other day? Oh, we filled the hydraulic tank back up the other day because that was one of the last things to do. The only things left to do are fuel filters and the coolant. But yeah, we drained that, we refilled that Saturday after that dyno actually. I thought, bugger it, we'll start her up. She hadn't been started since engine oil had been done and obviously the hydraulics and everything. Yeah, fired up, all right, no bother. But there's no... steers are right. Well, I can't say steers are right, but steers are right. But there's no hydraulics at the back. When you operate the lever for a service or the three-point linkage, I was doing the three-point linkage. I've tried all of them, but... the three-point linkage will obviously work because there's nothing plugged into a service so you can use the three-point linkage and see it working. Nothing happening at the back, although you can hear it pumping. So when you pull the lever you can hear it pumping and it rattles the orbital. The steering vibrates a bit. So we've got an issue there. And it also popped a seal on one of the steer rams. So Darren, again, he very kindly whipped that off the other day and took it where he gets his rams done. See if they can get the seal kit for it. I mean, they both wanted to do it anyway, but that sort of brought it forward a little bit because it popped the seal and it was hossing oil out. but so she might not be very serviceable on Saturday on the dyno day obviously can't go on anyway but be nice for people to hear it running with Gingy's new exhaust so but we Darren said he'll blank the blank the pipes off anyway so we can run it up without putting oil everywhere like so yeah so the FW's fighting at the minute it's fighting us I got on quite well with electrics on it like. Getting the electrics going. Still got a ways to go. So, yeah, there's always sunny, isn't there? It is always sunny. Last two bales we want. And we can head back and time for afternoon milking. Get the cows fed again, wagon reloaded. Yeah, always sunny. Always something to do. So, anyway, yeah, hope you enjoyed that little vid. Yeah, hopefully I'll see some of you on Saturday. Don't want no day. A bit of luck. And yeah, I'll see you on the next one. Ta-ta.

A lovely bit of ploughing by a Fendt 942 with a Kverneland 7 furrow fully mounted reversible. Rodney has his first tractor ride.
