HEDGETRIM - PUPDATE

Howdy folks, how are we doing? So we're just bombing it down the A1 at the minute. Hedgefowl on. Well, Hedgefowl has been on this tractor since, I don't know, when? October? Something like that. So yeah, we're just going to go and do a bit along a concrete road. Actually, I think I filmed last year. I think I entitled the video works smart or something like that. So I was using AutoSteer for me and people love that. People love a bit of AutoSteer especially like for head skating that sort of thing. So there's a fairly dull old day again which is seems to be the norm but both ends of the day are getting brighter which is very nice. So yeah it's quite noticeable now. sort of five o'clock it's still just sort of turning so uh yeah that's quite good quite good but um yeah end of well actually no start of march on the 7th we've got the dyno day again um yeah over at uh matt and basil's yard over at king's yard so that will that will soon be here and we've got various different tractors going on some have had some of our work you know some tractors like some of matt's tractors have had work done on them so they'll go back on to see what sort of power gains they've had various different tractors we've not seen before will coming. The TW, not Matt's, Darren's TW, which Darren had a lot of work done to it before last year's dyno day, but we couldn't put it on on the day because it got it, something was not quite right in the injection pump so we didn't put it on and it hasn't been on since um let's knock this down because we've got to get out we've got a bit of a tree to knock down here so um so yeah so that's not been on so and darren's adamant he wants 200 horsepower out of it now the last time that was dyno was when i had it and it was around 177 very healthy for for what it should be anyway because um what they 154 horsepower should be so roughly say 145 140 out the back end so she was very healthy out the back end anyway but like i say darren's done um uh it's had full set of injectors injection pump uh has been fiddled with turbo in terminals have been upgraded slightly so eat like i say he's after he's after 200 horsepower so that should be quite eventful he'll either get it or die trying so um yeah that's the seventh if you've got um if you want to come just let us know no bother if you want to come without a tractor if you come in with a tractor let us know let me know or matt or darren and then we can book you in like so anyway that's the handbrake just going on we will get out and saw this tree down and move it out of the way because it's uh yeah i'll show you there you go see it's sort of laying right over like so we'll just cut it off trim it up a little bit so i can handle it and just put it to put it to the side so um we can sort it out at a later there's the old cameras they work well they do. Nicey blows, it really started mizzling quite badly. The old Dewalt flex volt chainsaw 56 volts that's that lot tidied up. We've got to come up here with a digger at some point and we've got a pair of scissors for it now you know grab with a shear basically so yeah down there see the land eyes hang over a lot we're gonna use that to trim it up a little bit because when the combine comes through it's wrapped in the cab and the mirrors and everything so I just want to trim it up a bit and it's you could probably do it with this but you got it so high because when you're in the cab and you have that right up you literally so when you're doing like let's say the tops of these you really can't see what you're doing because it's so far up so yeah we'll try them snips see how we get on. Nice LED flashing light there. So that's a UTV, high power UTV LED beacon. There's a standard halogen one there. The bulb had gone in the one that was on here. So I thought, well bugger it, I've got, well Darren had got a couple of spares to be fair. Let me try them see how bright they are and yeah they are they are bright obviously you're not going to see brighter than the um brighter than the allergen beacon you're getting quite a flash off that and obviously at night it's even bright you know even sort of looks even brighter but the key is during the day so obviously like that's the a1 just there up and down all the time you need some decent beacons and uh yeah that is a decent beacon all right brighter than the halogen and brighter than the um sporting ones that we have had on there the only downside with the placement of them on new orleans is as you can see i'm at um you know it's at uh my head height that is you're just starting to see them and they just poke over the over the roof not ideal really the new cabs like the new yeah the uh the new horizon cab that's been on the hd t7 for a while and obviously the new standard wheelbase model of this tractor with a horizon cab they've got them on the sides on um arms that can break back either way so if you're going in a shed or branches or whatever they just rotate around but they stick up above the cap so you can see them a bit better a lot much better design much better design but yeah that is a that is a camera don't do it justice but that is a bright light that is and you can add different patterns if you want but I quite like the you know the rotating simulation one you like so anyway put the old saw back in That's that job done. I'll carry on finishing the hedger, we haven't got much more to do. We've done it all down there, we've just got to go up to the corner there. It's a little bit of a good one. Alright, let's get it revved up again. This will go out the seat, it won't let me put it in forwards without dipping the clutch. It's slightly annoying because it was in half, so, never mind. See now we're sort of right at the top of these bushes and you can see I'm having to really sort of look or bend down to look up so any higher then you completely lose sight of the head altogether. Oddly on this track for some reason the updated indicators so there's no notch, pull it down and it centralises again there's no auto cancellation whereas on the other 225 there is it does auto count on this one no you have to manually cancel cancel which is a bit a little bit odd i think cancel it you just push it the way that you're indicating so right you push it right again it cancels it but it won't auto cancel for some reason We better do our pup day. It's smelly boy. Ah, smelly boy. All right, Nosh Nosh. Ah, how are we doing? Looks like you've been wrecking sonny. What's that then? Sniff, Jeff? Rodney? No, it's not edible. Neat, no. So as you can see, Rodney, he's become, he's very lanky. He's a bit like his namesake, Rodney. Pipsqueak is still a little pipsqueak. Oh, Rodney! no he's nicked the, he's nicked the, Rodney come here leave that leave it he's nicked the muff Rodney come here come here leave it thank you good boy you need to hide come on let's go out for a wee and look it good boy Dale Fodge Fodge Fodge is still a little bit bit of a i don't know a bit old really but uh she gets about rodney boy what are you doing yeah good boy go and do a wee and a poo go on there you go go on so they're um probably about 70 80% house trained at the minute ain't you rodney good boy go and do a poo and you have some pork pie yeah yeah good boy you're a bit quarry a little bit quarry anyway yeah good dog what's going on out there just have a bit of a tidy up end of the day mate, oh it's a little chunky, hi little chunky, oh mate, yeah, he's chilled out a bit more now than he was, he's a lot more chilled out, likes a scratch now, so the little bucks are really coming on quite well, they sort of, well they do know their names, they do know their names now they do notice it you know simple commands like that obviously they're still very very excitable i mean they are jack russell terriers after um you know yeah the terriers are just they're just mad well on the whole they're mad so very excited but yeah i'm surprised how lanky rodney is he's well lanky obviously he hasn't stopped growing yet he might be as tall as dell at this rate i don't think he won't be as chunky as dell i mean dell is just like pure muscle but might actually be about the same height dell himself has yet to allow himself to play with them so he still gets you know he's still like you know i don't like these little clubs but um he's he's he's getting more what's the word more tolerant of them the longer they're about so uh hopefully won't be long before he starts playing rodney yeah rodney keeps trying to play with him so now you remember the old motorator well got a video coming up uh fairly soon about this Very cool.
