(Message Requests)
(OBS, DroidCam, Womic)

in the next hour i'll be sharing 101 lessons i learned from sending over 2500 dms yeah i closed some clients i got ghosted i went into the hidden message requests and got out i got an inbound client and the list goes on i'm going to go over everything i learned from cold outreaching from the lessons i wrote down here starting with lesson one if i knew lesson one like earlier in my days, I would have literally jumped over this whole video and be still closing clients like very constantly. And it essentially is using the duct method. The duct method is basically when you make the client go, damn, you know that? And that could be done various of ways. You can do that by just sending them value. You can do that by personalizing the messages down to a T and actually knowing them inside and out. and actually being able to be different from those guys that you can feel that these guys are spamming messages like left right and center that instantly boosts the credibility and 10x is the amount of times that people get back to you you know and just by doing that i can guarantee you that you don't need to watch the rest of the video if you can just do the duck method you'll be ahead of like 80 of the people that are on the market right now Lesson two. When I found a profile to outreach to, it usually was on Instagram. And if I didn't find their Instagram page, I wouldn't waste time thinking about searching. I would just skip them until I got X. And when I got X, I noticed that some pages also have some sort of a presence in different platforms. So in that sense, what I noticed is most people might also be more active on X, for example, than on Instagram. And even when I tried emails, that got me crazy results too. I started using every platform whenever possible, Instagram, Facebook, X, email, you name it. Three, I used to hate sending DMs because back then when I used to copy and paste DMs, believe me, I could have sent like 100 DMs a day. But the bad part is in those 100 DMs, I literally got no responses, man. It was copy-paste. After that, somehow I came across the information that I should be giving them value instead of just sending copy-paste messages. What I started doing was I started locking down on giving value and actually complimenting each and every one of my clients in a different way. That gave me a bit of personality and that led me to the conclusion that You sometimes copy paste the wrong stuff. I sometimes copy pasted a woman's name to a guy's name, let alone that it was wrong. You calling a man a woman that instantly kills your trust. I double down and I started complimenting them and I started literally giving them suggestions and references all relative to them. And one secret technique that I'm going to give. to you for completely free is actually doing it in phases. What you're going to do starting from today is this method I use that makes it easier for me to actually build a lead list and actually start DMing them in record time. This is a list with some leads that I'm going to give to you for completely free that actually is going to serve as a stepping stone for you. What you have to do is you have to fill in this particular list with clients that you're going to outreach first. Why? Because when you do everything at the same time, like finding the clients and then actually thinking about compliments and all that, that eats up your time and you're not as productive. That's when this type of way comes down. On each one, you're going to go by this in order. You're going to first search for their name, then their actual subscriber count. then all their socials that you will know that it is valuable and you will be able to reference or actually reach out to them on each one. These last three including the socials are the most important part, so listen up. This one is actually a picture of a reference point in the video that shows that you actually watched the video. This is usually needed when you're sending emails. Sometimes when you're sending Instagram DMs as well, it depends on what's your approach. You will also have the actual video that you had right beside it. And these three, this will be like you making the duct method work because it shows that you actually did your research. For the last, you will have the actual DM or email that you're going to send them. That's the relatability, the compliments, all you're going to drop it in there. and you'll have it ready to when you're starting to actually DM them or email them. You can take this one step further and actually organize follow-ups. That's more versatile. Don't know how you're going to do that. I could go deeper down on that. Just let me know if that's something you want to hear. But this is basically the spreadsheet and I'm going to leave this spreadsheet on the description and it's totally free. Just do that and feel free to actually reach out to these people and let me know if you have doubts or questions and I'm going to be happy to help you. Lesson four. Now, when I'm outreaching, I'm always thinking about what is the value that I'm going to be sending to this person right here. I don't really think about like, what I'm going to do or what I'm going to sell. I'm always thinking about what can I produce for them that would be of value. That's my mindset constantly. Always think about giving them something of value. Lesson five. Often when I got to the point where the client was interested and asked for rates and stuff like that, I usually just popped up the first thing that came through my mind. The first price that came over, I would just be like, That's the price. But I learned that for a fact, closing deals via DMs is possible, but I started doing something a bit differently. I noticed that when it comes to the point of talking prices, I prefer to do them on calls. I prefer to be face-to-face, being able to say, persuade, and it has more room for you to wiggle out of a low price. People might budget you low, but you can start low. 200 and then like end up with a two thousand dollar deal just because you have a certain type of deal that work for that certain amount of time and it's specific to what they need so they buy a whole package and you can you can you can't maneuver that as easily on dms you just have to learn to charge according to the desired gap that you create for your customers lesson six i have prospects that i outreach to I contacted them briefly and they actually got back to me. We talked for a while. But then I just let them be. I forgot about them. What I realized is they're not completely lost. We still talk together. I know that if it comes to a time where I actually have something because I have so much report. I can just talk to them and they might be interested, you know, and they will believe me a bit more than they would be believing a completely random stranger that just DMs them and promises them the world. That's why following up is key. Just find your way to do it. And I don't think that there's a strategy for that. You have to feel when the distance is becoming too big. Lesson seven. I also used to cramp everything like to the same message where I used to say my price, what I do, how many years I have of experience, all in my first message. But I found out fast that that took me nowhere. When I started personalizing it, shortening it, and tailoring it for each one, I drastically started getting better responses and it really changed the way I started looking at cold outreach. When you're cold outreaching, try not to pitch right on the first messages people can read right through that lesson eight really think if it's worth working for free is it worth it my answer for that for most of my younger years was like no it isn't it isn't worth it it's not worth working for free you would even even have like a folder on my pc with your name if i didn't get that paypal notification but listen closely it's actually the way that can gain you credibility points and more favorability points over even those guys that have a portfolio and are all that fancy, man. I really feel like working for free is like the secret cheat code to actually making big money in the long run. That's why you see like buy one, get one free. I'll work for free for 30 days and I'll triple your results. If I don't, don't pay me. Stuff like that, when they hear free, they are more stimulated and they're more bound to trust you because you're giving them value. And it boosts the points if it's actually valuable. So really think if it's worth working for free. Lesson nine, the spray and pray. Describes a tactic of taking many uncoordinated, often aimless actions, hoping sheer volume or luck will yield success. You literally have to be the opposite of that, man. Don't spray and pray. DMing a lower amount of people, but niching down and locking down on valuable clients, then where when one responds or two responds and they are interested, you know that they can actually finance you. You wouldn't spray and pray in the sense of sending a ton of messages and the five people that get back to you don't even have money, aren't even creators or aren't even the ideal client for your thing. It's not as easy to find. the people that are ready today, but when you can't find them and you develop a list, just shooting through those and hoping one of those gets back to you, your odds of closing clients gets a lot better. Lesson 10. Have you ever tried cold emails? When they asked me that, I used to think like, nah. that's that's kind of not for me but then i tried it and ended up getting replies from big pages and even big businesses that i wouldn't think in my wildest dreams would get back to me i'll include some cool tips and templates on how you can do better emails on around lesson number 40. lesson 11. it took a while for me to understand why i was actually getting ignored on the dms i personally understood that if I can't really see active or if I don't see seen on my messages, odds are I'm still in the message requests. When my first message was a pitch, I rarely ever got out the message requests. So I shifted my primary focus to actually getting out of the message requests. The rest follows on. Lesson 12. After months of sending like 100 DMs a day, I was dumbfounded on Bro. why why am i still not getting replies i realized i was in the hidden message requests but do you think that stopped me i literally just switched to x and email and continue outputting it outreach and while my instagram page relaxed and cooled down a bit i still had my other platforms on which i got replies and stuff actually advanced being in the hidden message requests isn't the end of the world Lesson 13. I used to clog up my mind over thinking about different templates and different reach out strategies and every other nuance I should be doing like on different social media platforms. Most times I really just get responses because I zone it down in my brain. where I only need to follow the exact strategy I do on Instagram and implement it on X. Eventually, if I get onto Facebook, I would do the same. So it really gets me replies wherever I try. Each platform has their minor tweaks, but use the same strategy within other platforms and stick with what suits you best. Lesson 14. I used to just stick to Instagram, but if I knew then what I know now, i would have had a bugatti by now sending dms on instagram is good sending it as well on twitter is great but also sending the occasional email is god i mainly stick to these three lesson 15. i've always been against automating but i think you never knew why automating can be good and it can be bad if you're trying to automate a system you have to prove that it works first you know you can't technically automate a system where you can send like 1,000 DMs a week, but it wouldn't work in the long term because you wouldn't be making your money back. Most of the clients wouldn't even respond. I would be surprised if you were sending shitty DMs and even got a response at all. So before you start thinking about automating, first think of developing a system. After you have a system locked down, then you might be ready to start automating. Lesson 16. So you finally had a person reacting to your message. saying that they're interested or they want to know more of what you have to do so what you do next literally can be the pivoting point on where you get accepted or you get rejected the next most obvious move is to try and send them value of any sort if you do like personalized websites or if you do Like my go-tos that are video edits, I try to stick to like 30 seconds or one minute to two minutes, depending on the amount of people I have to send in within a day. When they see their own face and they see their own branding on the material you send them, the value and all that, I really guarantee that they become like dumbfounded and they're like, yo, this can maybe work. So that's what I started doing and I usually get more positive responses from my clients than ever before. If he replies positively after you send them a value, the next move is try to get him on a call bro odds are you can close him i guarantee you Getting qualified leads is easier when you know what to do on each platform. The next four lessons will be me teaching you different ways to get leads on every platform that you might need to get leads on. Lesson 17 and the first way to get leads is using Instagram. This is one of the ways, although there's many others, but this is the way that I do outreach and I teach my students how to do outreach and they get success from it. What you want to do is when you're on Instagram, you go onto Instagram and you find a niche that you want to outreach. How do you know that you're in the right niche? How do you know you're DMing the right person? Just know that in every single niche, it's possible for you to make money. It just depends on how you approach it. For example, this niche right here. What we're going to do is we're going to find mid, not a very big, not a very small page that you can consider that he's like a mirror or he knows what he's doing and he has a considerable amount of followers. Let's say like 20,000 to 40,000 followers. What we're going to do is we're going to follow him. Listen closely. This is the most important part. We follow them. We don't need to interact with that page as much. You could also shoot them a DM. try your luck. But what you're going to do is after you follow this page right here, you're going to hop in their followers and on their followers, you're going to see a bunch of people that actually follow them and they actually are interested in that certain topic or they're a part of the niche in general because they will be following more people from their niche. So after that, not all of them will be the ideal people for you. but you will usually see them on their descriptions or their profiles. When you find people that are on the same niche or in the same focus that is posting content or doing whatever your services is, what you're going to do is you're going to follow them as well. You can follow up to 20, 30 people and just know that you're following from his followers. You follow them and now you have 30 new or 40 new people that you're following. What happens is then you will be flooded with their content on your page, on your feed. So now your goal is you to naturally start liking and commenting and engaging with those pages. And you should do this for like about a day or about two days before you actually DM them. And that's you just like making yourself seen a bit more before you actually engage. What brings you benefits doing this is you actually have a chance of them following you back and you skipping the actual hassle of being in the hidden message requests or message requests because when they follow you back, as soon as you send them a DM, it goes to their primary or general inbox directly. You don't go through the message requests. You follow them and then you like those posts after that you actually start devising value to actually send to them after you send some dms to those 40 people they're more likely to get back to you lesson number 18 second way to get leads using twitter or x the method showed on instagram also translates into twitter but you have an alternative way that is basically done more on Twitter and I should be talking about threads too, but I'm going to go deep down on that on a future video, not on this one in particular. But you can hack the X algorithm by actually going to the search bar and searching, I need your specific job title. That's basically putting yourself in the shoes of the actual person that's going to hire somebody. They will be posting like, I need a plumber and plumbers. will be there like yo yeah man i'm a plumber i can what's what what you do and stuff like that and if you're like a graphic designer and you're like this this and that you can search for that and find countless people doing that okay so you find all of them but just know that all of these guys there's a ton of competition already you know you won't be the first guy that comes to mind when this comes to action because people don't really choose from that thing alone you know and there's so many people that it becomes kind of crazy But after you like some of those posts that say, I need this specific job title, you will refresh your page and then more of people that didn't pop up in the search but actually are searching for the same thing but using different ways of saying it and different mannerisms and stuff like that will appear on your feed. So you rinse and repeat this like twice a day and you will be DMing at least 20 people that are looking for your particular service. Lesson number 19, third way to get leads. Using YouTube. For YouTube, you don't just search on the search bar, like planned or a general search term that you find on other videos or, you know, that people say that they had success doing, you know, because the more broad the actual search term, the more odds of people actually searching for those same people and outreaching them. And instead of just searching fast. you will be searching for what SaaS people are searching for constantly. After you get your search term down and locked, what you're going to do is you're going to go on to the recently uploaded or channel filter on YouTube and you will see like pages aren't as big, like they don't have millions of followers or subscribers or that they don't have a posting schedule per se. and they don't get as much views. You'll see 1,000 subscriber pages, 10,000 subscriber pages, 15,000 subscriber pages. You will occasionally find 100,000 and 1 million subscriber pages, but it's a lot rarer than finding the smaller pages that post sporadically. Doing that, you will find a ton of people that you could consider leads. What you're going to do is you can find their alternative social links like Instagram, Twitter, all of that. Or you could always just find their email right on YouTube. That's going to be the next way to find leads. Lesson 20, finding leads through email. This is really slept on, but when you know what to do and you know what processes to follow, you will be converting high ticket paying clients. through email man like they prefer email than social media because social media is where they come to wind off while on email they're kind of already geared to knowing that it's our business or something that's more professional and technical you know so in this case in particular we won't be finding the emails itself because we could use the emails we find on their websites and on their youtube or instagram whatever you find Now, we're going to make sure that you yourself, if you have a lead email list with a ton of leads that basically all of them are particularly for email, this is going to be how you can validate it and how you can make actual use of those emails. One thing that you have to have in mind is when you're validating an email, you're not trying to sell. You're trying to find an email that they react to or that they are personally using. You're not trying to find a team or a corporate email that a manager or some other person will be replying to you. You want to find an email where your client or the guy that you see that's the cover is going to respond and say, yeah, bro, it's me. Yeah, thanks for this, this, and that. You found the email on YouTube per se. What we're going to do is, We're going to actually devise a DM that says like, yo, I saw your video and I really dig the way and don't be spreading off like surface level compliments. Just make sure that the compliment comes from deep down and like make sure that you're using the actual footage you saw and actual blunders or actual accomplishments that they are proud of as well. That will show them that you saw the video and that will increase your odds of actually. being uh heard you know and they won't ignore you as often i used all of these lead generating methods but none of them worked until i learned why i was outreaching for having just the lead generating methods isn't enough i had to experience it myself it made me lose clients and it made me not close clients that i would have closed otherwise what changed the game for me was me looking it through a different lens i stopped looking at it at me trying to sell But it was more of like I'm trying to prove myself in the sense of let's just get on a call and then I'll talk by talk. This after sending them value and after being useful for them. Have them on a call. You guys will resonate better and it will make conversation smoother and direct to the point. Lesson 22. I'm not going to lie. I also got scared on a couple of calls. Me getting there, fixing the camera, fixing the ring light and actually... putting on a nice shirt and everything just to find out that it's not going to be a video call it's going to be a voice call but it becomes easier the more you do it it doesn't only 10x your credibility but it also helps yourself develop negotiation skills for the long run lesson 23 so you got a client to schedule a call now what next when i was in a call most of the times i actually ended up forgetting my scripts as well um so me on the call i would be like dale What was my opener? What was I supposed to say? He wasn't supposed to say this. And when I forgot my scripts, I always zeroed down to the same couple of things. One of the things that made me able to close most of my clients is you always have to be like a doctor or you have to always listen more than you speak. Because in the analogy of the doctor, don't know where I heard that, but in the analogy of the doctor, what you have to do is you have to be as understanding and listen to each and every symptom they have you know in the sense of them actually being vulnerable in what their problems are what they would like as solutions if what you do is like guide them to a specific solution that includes some more uh persuasion skills but my focus started to be like just pay attention and just listen and then what i did it last made them feel heard and not only heard but they saw that i understood and that wasn't like a problem for me because of my reaction and that was i recited each and every pain point of them like in a different order and i didn't do robotically so that's the secret that's what i zero down in when i forgot scripts and stuff like that and i still close clients so that's that's an easy tip for y'all lesson 24 still on the call you will let the client talk and he's expressing his frustrations and stuff like that, but you don't know where you should put your input or where you should guide them. Your goal is to understand the client's pain. You have to know that deep down, what does he need? Does he need more sales? Does he need more production like in content? Does he need more marketing? What's the problem? You don't need to shoot this out of your butt. This is something that you will understand from what your client is saying to you. And the smartest thing is you letting them know that the goal is possible to achieve, but there is a gap there. You don't need to tell them that specifically there's a gap, but you create the sense of a gap and you are like the missing piece to fill in the gap. And having that notion in your mind makes you see like, even for pricing, if you normally price like 200 and you see that this guy has a... bigger budget than usual than your clients, you could low-key just say like 500, 600, depending on what their needs are, the gap. So if they need more stuff that's on top of the gap, you can sum up different stuff and just include it there. It's basically depending on their needs and you're charging accordingly. only sending dms might work but creating that personal touch on a call is sensational lesson 26 when i didn't have a portfolio i got desperate i thought that i couldn't compare myself with like the other people that were more ahead of the game and already had those things laid down but that slipped when i started getting responses left right and center and just by doing stuff that i talk about here in this freaking channel all the time. Not all of them were sales, but those were freaking responses, man. I achieved that by using what I usually talk about in this channel, sending freaking value. Lesson 27, you can still get clients in the hidden message requests. Not having a portfolio is the least of your problems. People usually quit because they find out they're in the hidden message requests, as if you can't still find clients. I'm not going to lie, I quit too. What I usually did when I was in the hidden message requests and I eventually quit on Instagram was I had to migrate to X and I started doing email as well. While my Instagram account chilled down, I actually continued moving forward. the DMs I was sending on Instagram, I was spreading them out through Instagram and through Twitter and email. Technically, you can still get clients in the hidden message requests. Lesson 28, how I got out of the hidden message requests. I started becoming very active on my Instagram while not DMing as much. When I used to DM, what I had them do was I engaged so much with a page or a couple of pages and when they followed me back, I had them talking to me on the Instagram. So Instagram found out that I wasn't a bot and I wasn't spamming and I was actually creating frequencies with people or relationships. In the sense of when you follow each other on Instagram, you don't go through the hidden message requests. Better yet, you don't even go through the message requests. You go directly to their inbox. After a two-month period, I all of the sudden was out. Lesson 29, how I didn't have to go through the message requests. I definitely had times where I had to outreach while I was still in a hidden message request just to keep up on the schedule. A crazy turnaround is that I actually also got replies while I was still in a hidden message request. But until I found out that I was in a hidden message request, I was getting replies from people. But do you know why? Yeah, I explained. It's because they were following me. Just because they were following me, I had an easier time just getting through to them. Most of the times, it could be people that I talk to on Instagram or I talk to them on Twitter or even on email and have a conversation initiated with them. Then I also follow them on the other page while we're still talking and we carry on the conversation there. That's why engaging with prospects is a must-do. Lesson 30, important tip when searching for jobs on Twitter. When looking for jobs on Twitter using the method I explained earlier, the best thing you should do is actually see their history. Just see if they're really searching for your job title or those people on Twitter, what they do is they do something called engagement farming, where they post the same thing countless times just because they know that people tend to comment on them. people tend to engage with them, people tend to follow them. Most people don't even turn on their DMs because they know that people will follow. They usually say something stupid like, if you want to enroll, if you want to send me a DM, just follow me first. That's crazy because DMs can be open. If you're looking for a job, I won't be commenting there because there's a lot of people commenting and most of them don't even make sense or don't even hold the weight. But when you send a DM, you don't know how many people are actually sending you the DMs. So they actually close the DMs and they're not really looking for people. Just get that through your mind. Not all of them are. Some of them are engagement farming and they literally just do that just to gain followers and likes and comments. Lesson 31. I figured you should qualify your leads before engaging a ton and losing most of your time with them. I used to have troubles making sure that my clients or my students would actually come through. and actually come to the call you know and i would lose my time just preparing myself and like setting everything up just for the end they didn't show up you know and i say that because most recently it has happened like twice in one week with people that i just took my time to try to help them you know and that hurts me because i did it for free and that might be the reason why they actually decided not even to come through you know but this is very easy fixable. People usually start believing you or start believing that they have something scheduled or they get that focus on to come on and not flake on the meeting. If you make them go through steps before actually going to the meeting. If it's something as simple as, yo, click here and let's go on to a call. Most times they might not even show up because they'll see like, if it's just this, maybe I can just like come through another day or like that. you know they starting twice but two things that i found myself that works best for uh cutting the amount of people that actually flake out by half or even by a third is actually having a survey or a form or having some type of a paywall you know a paywall is more inclined if you're like a bigger guy if you have like a bigger amount of following but it's not dispensable because if they shed like thirty dollars or like one hundred dollars or two hundred dollars for a meeting you can bet your butt they won't miss out on that you know it's crazy when you sum up all the time that you lose just waiting for these people uh when they're late for calls and they don't even show up you know so try doing that and i guarantee it helps me a ton lesson 32 outreaching for me used to be me just going on instagram and dming any and every page i used to find there be no real structure not even knowing if the pages were valid in a sense of they were interested in talking to me. But one of the eye-openers for me was learning about the client awareness spectrum. I'll explain it in simple terms just so you get out of it with a bit of knowledge upon it, but I advise you to learn more about it. five stages there's the unaware the problem aware solution aware product aware and finally aware unaware clients are clients that usually don't actually know of the existence of this service or what you actually do that would benefit them with what they're going through you know they don't even know they have a problem but then you have the problem aware which are people or prospects that actually know what's their problem like they have like a certain clue on what you're facing or the problems you're facing but they don't know what's the solution or how to get it fixed they know they have a problem but they can fix it themselves solution aware there are people that know that yo if i do this if i buy a course or if i buy this book i can learn how to do it if i watch this video that's a solution aware person so they know that a solution exists and they can go through with themselves or they're looking for people to actually help them in their solution. And then there's the product aware. The product aware is people that usually know that they can buy these services and usually sometimes know where to buy. So they can compare prices and they want to know which one is the best that fits all their demands. And then there's the aware, which is people that know what you do, what's your... product and they want that exactly you know they want to have you working for them and those are the most easiest to convert and if you go back ways to unaware that's the most hardest to convert depending who you're focusing on your results might vary drastically lesson 33 my biggest shift was stop caring about unaware and problem aware clients and start focusing on solution aware and product aware if i get an aware client like that's like a jackpot you know but that's my secret i'm telling you the biggest time wasters are the unaware and the problem aware clients because you still have to go through all of it and show them the benefits until you convert their way of thinking focusing yourself on solution aware to the most aware easily increases the time you invest in this in the sense of the more time you would would have been explaining what your service is or how it will benefit them you would be using the same time to actually explain other benefits and have them on a call and make them gain that credibility point with you all that to show you that you're worth it that's how they saw me i was worth it and i actually consider that my biggest shift yet not gonna lie Lesson 34. When sending emails, I usually got ignored 75% of the time. For the longest, I didn't know why, but I figured out that, yo, emails also have a certain type of frequency. They have a certain type of rules that you actually have to follow them to make sure that the other person on the other end know that you also are on their frequency and you know what you're doing, you know? And I took the longest to actually get that through my mind. I noticed. from experience alone because I used to receive emails as well and I usually sent emails. But I noticed that my biggest jump was how I was formatting the actual email. The email itself wasn't a problem because I would be sending value, I would be doing the most, I would be complimenting them. But what I wasn't doing was like I wasn't formatting it the right way. I wasn't leaving the space. I wasn't like. saying best regards, stuff that simple as that. I wasn't signing out with my name in the end. All these things are small things that actually make the difference when you're shooting up the email. You have to know this because this blends into outreaching in general. You have to know what platform you're outreaching in so you can blend in your outreach so it makes sense on your platform. Lesson 35, but that alone, wasn't enough to get myself flooded with responses from clients and all that something was missing having a domain believe it or not not only increases your uh in your rates your response rates because you sound more corporate and you sound more believable in what you do it also increases the amount of emails you can actually send without actually being considered as a spam or as a scam or something like that my studies led me to like 40 emails a day is cool for one particular email account. So if you have two emails, email accounts, you can send 83 email accounts 120. Basically, that's the suggested according to my studies. But just to keep it safe, I keep it around like 25 and I never have struggles with myself on thinking that I'm in the spam folder or something like that. This helped me. and this will help you get more of your emails open. Lesson 36. Your email shouldn't look like a gamer tag. Just remove all those dots, those hyphens, those dashes, all of them, man. Try to make it as professional as possible in the sense of if it's needed or if it's part of your branding, use it, but don't do that. You don't need to. Lesson 37. On Instagram, if your account is recent, it has less than a month or two and you're starting to outreach you're bound bro to go to the hidden message requests or not even or even get like flagged or shadow banned on your page you know so let your account warm up before you start out reaching want to get inbound leads i do too i mean i did until very recently i got an inbound lead when my page only had like 30 followers then i was like damn man like Twitter might just be that easy. Getting inbound leads is easy, but it's not at the same time. If you want to see it with simple eyes and like how everyone actually sees it, is you have to be in the right place at the right time, charge the right amount to the right client, have the right patience to the right time wasted, and it goes on forever. That way, you must think that getting inbound clients, when I post something, it just pops up on their feed. But there's certain ways that you can tailor down. If you know what you're doing and it's a strategy and it's a plug-and-play, you can literally just do it the same thing, scaling it up. The results to getting inbound clients is guaranteed. If you were on Twitter or if you want to know what I did specifically, I usually just posted as my brand what I did. I'm a video editor and I do cold outreach. I posted client intros and client highlights and stuff like that, more inclined to the video editor part. But it essentially brought me a client wanting video editing, not something to do with outreaching. If I had focused on outreaching itself, I might have already gotten clients on that. Essentially, you just need to be in the right place. posting the right content and if you have testimonials and or guides that's also a way to show you like you're a influential person in that space or if you that you have some knowledge eventually i guarantee you that your post will land on the right eyes it actually did for me lesson 39 i'm gonna give you a cold email template and sorry for you guys who skipped to 40. uh yeah i'm gonna give that cold template now this is my guaranteed way of actually getting responses that I usually share with my students or people that are close to me that usually need this. I'm going to be laying it all down for you for free and if you have a bit more questions, I'm free to actually answer them whenever you're ready. The email shouldn't be clogged. You should write your email after doing the research. You have to research the compliment you're going to give them. the achievements that they have done you know and you have to achieve the sense of you knowing the client before you actually dm them you know and that's basically what you call the duck method before you send the actual reference point of the video is you should compliment them and you should be able to actually give them a reason why you're dming them you know where the second line should be and by the way i noticed this followed by the actual image The image just shows that you watch the video. Below the image, you'll be saying that, yo, so I was watching this video, and in this video, you particularly talked about doing this, this, and that, but I really feel like you're not getting engagement on this, this, and that because of this thing that we could improve. And just let me know if I should send it over, and I could send it anytime soon. Best regards, your name. And that's as simple as that. people see that email and they see that there's more commitment to the email and that shows that you actually searched you know you didn't just crack something up with an ai chatbot just do that and you have responses flying from left right and center lesson 40. i wasn't really sure if i really wanted people knowing what i do like i'm a video editor or i'm a cold outreach guy and i really tried to separate me from my business you know but it came to a point where I really stopped caring who actually saw my offer or who was commenting on my stuff. If it was a family member, if it was a friend, like, hell, are you going to buy? So that's what I started to do. I started to play my cards right and started doing everything I needed to get my content to the people who needed to see it. And independently of who saw or who commented. Certain people who were interested started logging in and commenting and actually responding. And then I started zoning in on those ones and logged in to reach those guys. Having social media can be personal or it can be for work and you will get responses according to what you decide to shift it as. So you decided to start posting but aren't sure what you're actually... supposed to post and you're overwhelmed because there's a ton of stuff online that says, no, you should post your whole video. No, you should post this, this and that. I went through that before, but I actually got an inbound client just by posting very recently. I'll tell you what I do to actually get responses and actually get your content seen by people that actually are willing to invest in you. And it's as simple as this to get engagement from the right people. What I do is I post before and afters. I post highlight edits. and I post specific animations of a video just to show what I can do and what are my capabilities. One of the most important ones for me is posting also client intros because client intros are the bread and butter to actually keep the retention and it's a very good sale point. If you start posting consistently enough and with a strategy, success will follow. Lesson 42. So if you're sending value to a client, what if they end up not responding? Believe it or not, It's more common than I would like to admit. After you actually cooked up the value and actually spend the time doing whatever you do, if it's a website or if it's a logo design or if it's a video, it actually comes to a point where they might not even acknowledge your work. But an easy way to break through this is actually tagging them when you're posting your work on your social media. Tag them. If you have to tag them on Instagram, if you have to tag them on YouTube, if you have to tag them on Twitter, tag them in all of the social media that you can find them on. And then you'll follow up with a message saying, hey, I just did this for you. And I just want to hear your responses on it. And hopefully you like it. Most of the times they will just say, yeah, man, I saw it. Thanks. Yeah, you know. What you have to notice is you're not in a hidden message request or you're not in the message request anymore. Now you have an open slot for interaction with this guy. Now you can say like, yo, what did you like it? What didn't you like it? Like, you know, and you start conversating and you can get them on a call and close the client. Lesson 43. Then you start engaging with your page as well. But just sending the DM sometimes doesn't work. Sometimes you just need a little bit more oomph to actually appear on his feed. and actually get their attention you gotta make them see you more than once start engaging with them in the comments start engaging with them in their stories start engaging with them in their pictures you know like do everything possible just so they can see your handle and they see their profile don't overdo it but do it just enough times that you feel like yo this guy responded to me just enough times that Maybe, maybe now I can actually just DM them. Doing the value thing isn't a do-all, cure-all. But it's just enough to get you your foot in the door and let them know that you're a guy worth listening to. And it makes them more likely to get back at you. Lesson 44. These are usual DMs I send after making the video and after posting. Lesson 45. I'll tell you from personal experience, it's very harder to scale if you're using your phone. only and you might not even know i thought as well that i could just grind on my phone and like have more money because i wouldn't invest in something that is so big like a pc like a gamer pc or something like that but yeah man i the time where i saved up and actually got one i got a pc it was a crappy pc but i got my first one i guarantee you that i did the work in a third of the time i had more versatility and it actually gave me a lot more time to like manage other stuff you know so i i was losing my time without even knowing getting a pc should be your next go-to move you might start with a crappy one but just upgrade it to your demands it still makes a difference lesson 46 i've been helping my viewers very closely some of them are getting clans as we speak in case you know somebody that's interested just click the first link in my description and just fill in the form and book a call. It's free. Lesson 47. I most likely wasn't getting replies because I firstly was DMing with trademark engineers. So they instantly knew they were going to be sold to. Once I changed from my business page to actually start DMing with my personal page where there's my picture and they didn't know if I was like a fan or if I was trying to sell. That instantly boosted my response rates by a ton. And if you try to do it yourself, it might boost it by a metric ton as well, because most people are usually dealing with anime pictures or with like stuff that's not relative to the business work. Try putting your profile picture on your page and you'll see the difference that makes. Lesson 48 and try to make it consistent in every social media that you're on. Only thing that you might differ might be your Gmail that might come down to you. But Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, everything should have the same picture so it doesn't confuse your client when they're trying to scope you out. Lesson 49. I'm in a situation of writing about five DMs a week and I don't shoot a ton of DMs, but when I hit, I hit like a bullseye. Lesson 50. Making money depended on my negotiation skills. It didn't really depend on my talent. Lesson 51. I have a question for you. do you dominate 100 of the software you're using i'll be honest on premiere pro i might not even know more than 60 but as i said it wasn't like the talent that made me charge as much as i charge is me being able to do something and me knowing what i can do where where i can do it when i can do it in what time i can do it and actually selling that not selling the total knowledge of the software i use i use the software i make benefits with it like that's enough for me so don't get caught up knowing every single shortcut on your software like that you're using like there are people that would be paying you twice the amount that you are actually charging and they just don't because you don't know how to ask it or you don't know how to formulate yourself to actually be in that position lesson 52 after you actually struck a deal with the client and actually have them on your dms talking to them and actually have them signing in to their calendly to book a call you might think that your worries are done and the hardest part is done isn't it is that how you think believe me people flake out on that you know people do set a time and date and they just don't don't appear there isn't a do-all and all for this as i said before what you really have to do is you have to qualify your leads and gets harder the last time you're in this department because sometimes you can just literally feel when a personal is kind of serious or if they're really serious on what they do what i acknowledge is you basically want to have a survey or you want to have some type of form that you have them go through and that makes your list of leads slimmer and slimmer by chance the more slimmer it gets the more odds that you removed all of them that they want serious to only leave the people that actually are looking to get the improvement or get the call or get the thing going you know get them to give you their email or get them to give you their phone number and you don't have to sleep on it yourself when you have that make use of email and sms try sending them sms with reminders Emails is better and easier for me. For example, I'm in the third world country and I don't have SMS for like international numbers. So just send them emails reminding them you have one hour, you have one day, you have one week left for our call. And that will drastically increase your odds of actually getting them on the call. Lesson 53. It's more troublesome to get clients on other countries like the US and stuff like that. Essentially, basically more in the US because they're quite picky if you have a heavy accent. If you have a heavy Indian accent or a heavy Nigerian accent, you instantly lose points in the sense of your negotiation will start on the lower end than if you have a straight British accent. But that doesn't mean that it's not possible for them to hire you. You just have to prove yourself a bit more. and if you have like real value that instantly boosts your points up because yeah if you have value like independently of your language i really feel like you will do well with for yourself but my secret is just send them audios just try uh talking to them as soon as possible but before just let them know how's your cadence what's your voice so they can adapt before they get on the call and get a surprise lesson 54 but the turnaround is you being freaking nice at what you do lesson 55 in this day and age people only push the fact that like you have to have a portfolio to actually get clients not because they're totally wrong it's just because it's not the only way to get clients nowadays it just points to credibility and experience you have in the market better yet if you have the ability to show your expertise so your passion projects your work that you did for a certain client and they didn't respond to it, keep them, keep all of them. You can post like a process if you want to. It's strategic and it's what I would suggest you do. But you can keep them and everything you do for free, it's not completely useless if your skills are useless. If it's valuable, just post it and people that see value in it will see value and they will reach out to you. Lesson 56. If you have testimonials, Use them. Lesson 57, but not the written ones because those are easily faked. You know, the video testimonials, bonus points if they say your name in them, bonus points if they say what offers you give and it's easier to work with you than on other guys because he has experience better yet. that brings you endless, endless amount of results. And it actually makes your marketing for you. You know, it markets yourself better. Converting clients by then, like it starts becoming a piece of cake. 58. So I constantly talk about sending value to actually increase the odds of lending a client or actually getting them to reach out to you. But when done wrong, it instantly cuts all the credibility you have. removes all the chances of you working together out the door. If you send the value and it's a video or if it's a presentation of a website or something like that, try not to make it as long as the original content. Just try to include certain stuff that makes you look that you. makes you look like you didn't automate all of this. Try greeting them, try saying their name, try complimenting them or try referencing something you already talked about before and just screen record your face and your screen. Get through it as quick as possible and just send it to them. For me, it works like a charm. Lesson 59. And what I suggest you use to screen record your face and your audio and your screen is currently OBS. I used to use Loom. But I ended up coming down to OBS because, I don't know, it's kind of more useful for me. And it's definitely not because it's free. Personally, on Loom, since I used the extension, it kind of ate up on my RAM since my PC isn't like a gamer PC or nothing. It ate up on my RAM and it made it so much harder to actually go through pages and maintain the smoothness of all of it. So OBS is quite more chill with the RAM. it comes out more fluent for me try dibble dabbling with different platforms and like just find out what suits for you lesson 60 oh your pc webcam isn't good what about your phone this is how i use my phone mic and camera to actually catch quality voice and video output when i'm actually doing screen recordings if you use zoom i'm sorry but i can't help you with that for the camera i use droid app Android app is usually used with OBS. You download OBS on your PC and you have Droidcam as a plugin that you can install as well on the website. Just download it from the website and install it. It will reflect on your OBS. Then when you have it running together, you will see on your phone there's a code because you download Droid app on your phone as well. You will see that there's a IP address that you have to copy and paste it to your PC and then voila. your PC is shooting the output from your phone's camera. Then for the mic, what you have to do is you have to download WOMIC for your phone and for your PC. One of them will have WOMIC client. I think it's going to be your PC. But what you do is the same IP address that you found on the DroidCam, you will copy that too. and you will paste it on your settings on the wo mic client so you can find your audio from your phone on your pc. 1061 oh your audio is still whack even when you're using your phone just use wired earphones or just buy a left ear mic it's kind of cheap and it's affordable and it really makes all the difference oh your pc still lags on obs this is kind of the worst one of all but it's still fixable only way i do that i have done in the past is recording each separately you usually do like something like along the lines of a clap sync or a snap sync or a mouse sync you know whatever you choose and you sync up the content from your screen recording and your phone camera and then you just edit it on a cat cut or whatever software you use and you put yourself in the bottom like respecting the time and all that cutting off all the fluff if it's needed i prefer to leave it raw and basically you will low-key have a cheat code for 90 of the time like if your pc is still wet like i don't know how to help you if you're in the 10 but for 90 of the people this will work lesson 63 when sending value or talking to a client don't get carried away and like make them know that you want to sell in the first couple of interactions That's the first way to make them ignore you. I've said this a ton, but treat them like a human. You'll see your outreach will go a long way. What not to do is not to downplay what they have been doing until this point in time. Like they might not even know that they're doing something wrong. So if you just downplay it, you'll just come off as unlikable. So just try your best to understand what they did and do on top of it. Lesson 64. The best place to build a report is in a call. There's a whole lot more room for connection in there. Lesson 65. When targeting prospects, the best way to keep focus is targeting specific niches in specific countries and in specific cities. Lesson 66. Common complaint I get from students and from other people that... are actually trying to outreach and just ask me for help and stuff like that is something along the lines of, yo, I actually found my dream client, man. I know that they can pay because they're selling this, this and that, and I don't charge that much. And they're not even that big, bro. Like they have a couple of thousand followers, like 2,000, 3,000 followers. And man, when I outreach them, still like it's silent. no response knowing this in particular i can tell you that it fixed seven from the ten people that actually came out to outreach to me and had that problem or just told me that had they were struggling with that what i told them to do is try finding another social media that they're on because they might not be in that part social media in particular that you're outreaching to them just by doing that i guarantee you that you will start getting responses lesson 67 for the longest i thought i didn't have what it took to actually start making videos that people consider quality. I just saw that it went to 1080p and I just was using my phone mic and I thought that it wasn't enough but to my surprise after deep diving for some while I figured out that big guys even like Graham Stephan he literally just started with his phone his iPhone 6s and he was just walking around and just laying down value and talking to his ideal client. and it spiraled to him like zoning down what really is his ideal client and now he has like a fan base of people that don't need for him to have like the highest of qualities but he just does it because he can but he can actually be getting views with a 1080p video he grew a following for the longest and he didn't need fancy cameras nor fancy mics so just take that as inspiration like i did lesson 68 I read the dip. Conviction and mind power. Those are the two secrets to make any of your ideal goals or whatever you have in mind to flourish in real life. All you need is the right amount of conviction and mind power. And independently of what your goal is, it becomes achievable. And we all start like that. We all want to be a millionaire, for example. So in the first day, I'm going to be like, yo, I'm going to learn whatever I can. about dropshipping and I'm going to use dropshipping to be rich and famous. Then two weeks pass, no success, just a couple of lost stores and a couple of lost money. Then I'm like, this is higher than I thought. Then the conviction isn't quite there, but the mind power might be because the idea is still there. As the time goes on, both start simmering down until it comes to practically zero. Then it inevitably brings down the time where we all come. to give up. This over time just becomes a repetitive cycle that it might not repeat yourself in the same department, but it becomes a cycle that keeps on showing up in your life in general. I went through that to at least most of us, most of us do, but I had a choice to continue with the cycle consciously or break it. So I did just that. I broke the routine and I stopped doing it. Like I stopped procrastinating and I just decided to double down. what happened is having the deep consciously it puts you in a certain mindset it put me at least in a mindset where i was able to see that i'm doing something and i might not be the best at it but it always comes to this point where it sounds like nothing is working where everything i'm approaching it in the wrong way it comes to a lot of times where you doubt yourself you know and it comes to a time where you find yourself you see it visually that there is a bigger bigger end goal where you just need to go through that phase to have it pouring in so that basically a short read and it really has the right words to put your mind into work lesson 69 the two skills that if you master you're bound to be successful no matter what is first to learn how to sell and second Yeah. That's crazy. If you learn how to do that, you're done, man. You're guaranteed to be a billionaire. But learning how to sell is the backbone of literally everything in life. Because I guarantee you that like every day in your life, you will fall onto some type of negotiation, some type of persuasion. And that's written for you every day of your life. Like you have to sell some part of your time to actually do this. You have to actually negotiate the prices at the market because you don't want to pay that much. That really translates to everything you see nowadays, like into making VSLs, into making ads, you name it. Learning how to sell is pivotal if you want to actually be successful in whatever you do. If you want to be a gardener, you have to learn how to sell your services. If you want to be a football player. People usually do that for you, but you have to learn how to actually sell. That's not the priority, but you have to learn how to sell your image as well. But one thing that's very pivotal and that you see it literally every day and when done right, you don't even notice it is copyright. OP skill on my way to mastering it, I'm in the process. But if you already know it, if you already know copyright, I guarantee you that you're ahead in the race. But don't get too comfortable, bro. you haven't won the race yet lesson 70 everything from your dms to your bio to your posts literally a bit of everything includes copywriting so you know it's kind of op still lesson 71 when you get a client the hardest thing is actually keeping him because i can tell you what's very easy that's losing him and you want to know how to lose him being communication absent lesson 72 when i was unsure of what to do actually for a client you know what i usually did i usually accepted the price and and then i figured out what i so i was supposed to do it's not a completely bad thing uh i wouldn't suggest you do different from that because i learned from that but what i wish i should have done before is actually not bite off more than i can chew like you might not know what to do but it can take big gaps like can you make me a rocket and you don't know how to make a rocket you charge a price and yeah then you have to figure out how to do a rocket okay you can youtube that but what if you only charge like 100 because you thought it was a small rocket you know you would have been charging like one thousand dollars because it's a bigger rocket i don't know if you get my analogy in short words it can go two ways the first is it's easy and it's doable and it's easy to deliver the second it's hard and midway through the process you figure out that you can't finish it or you have a story to tell or something like that and end up not delivering it i now choose wisely lesson 73 undersell and over deliver Using boards to explain ideas is really the best way to come across as someone who is knowledgeable in an area or just as someone who knows their stuff, you know, presenting value, responding to clients, or even shoring out your shot with value on outreach. I started using Miro boards because it's easy and for free, you can have like three boards and that's more than enough to what you can do with it. And it literally 10x is your credibility rate and infinitely improves the amount of range you can reach in one particular place you know try it try it for free try those three boards and if you really feel like it's worth it just pay the subscription bro and i think it's worth it failing is just part of it but what is not part of it is giving up lesson 76 one thing i noticed is even though i thought i was doing everything right some stuff usually just didn't work literally like this video right here i wish i stopped like 53 lessons ago but as i was about to stop i won't lie i just remembered the div now we're here on lesson 77. lesson 77 when i'm learning something new i really try to stick to a handful of creators i don't broaden my scope to a ton of them because i can really reach out to them and i can really see their struggles and how they're improving and their benefits all of that is easier to complain or comprehend when you're when you stick with a handful of creators and not a ton of them lesson 78 i was sometimes also watching videos of how to get clients or how to make this amount of money and i kind of felt fulfilled because i was like yo i can i can do that only to get discouraged when i tried it myself and to put it into perspective it's like watching jam around and do like his crazy jumps and me sitting at home like looking at you know like i can do i can do that you know and then getting on the court and trying to do the same thing and getting an injury that has never been seen before don't just absorb the content Just try to implement the small things you learn. Try to implement them and journal yourself to see if it's doing good or if it's doing bad. Lesson 79. Then when you have experienced it, you can pick and choose whatever you like doing and whatever suits you best according to what you want to achieve. And just hook onto it and implement it strategically day in, day out. And that's literally the secret to learning anything. Lesson 80. I'm happy to announce it. I actually had a ton of clients coming in and asking for my services. The bad part that I also remember about those times is that most of the times I didn't get there in time to where the clients were still interested when I was talking to them. I got to them on time sometimes, but sometimes I got to them a bit too late where I had created a certain problem for them. and they went ahead and searched for someone else to resolve a problem that I made them aware of. I'm doing this solo at the moment, but it always comes on point when you develop a team that actually can do this for you. That's why I suggest you document and have everything you do, even the minor details written down in some place where you can come to a point where you can just plug and play with someone and they can do the same thing as you. Lesson 81. Don't usually work for free if you're not working in a niche that directly makes money with your services. Lesson 82. Some clients just turn out to be clients I don't like working with after I sign the deal with them. After I become acquainted with them, like with the days of silence, not responding or late responses, endless reasons and stuff like that. You just... come down to figure these things out after you sign them. So sometimes you pick out bad clients, but it's never too late to change them. I was also one of those guys who used to just send like huge clumps of texts to clients and actually think like, yo, why aren't they getting back to me? You know, I'm glad I learned this sooner rather than later, but you really might be looking at the wrong way, you know. I certainly was. I usually was sending the first message would be like, yo, I do this and I can help you with this, this, and that, and I really just charge this much, so it's not that much. So yeah, let's work. Basically, that's not good outreach. Good outreach is usually when you actually get in and you can actually build a bit of credibility just by texts or just by messages or just on a call and actually be able to send a message, get out of the message requests. That instantly gets you in a good step with them. And usually it's not even selling until you hop on a call. You just understand their pain points and you understand if they're a qualified lead or if there's someone who's interested or if there's someone who's not. Once you know if they're interested or not, you're already doing good outreach. You just don't know it. Lesson 84. You could also be doing paid ads. I know outreaching is quite dreaded and it quite of a crazy strategy when you don't know what you're doing nothing ever works but you could also be doing paid ads paid ads will bring you inbound leads but it will end the same way if you don't know how to take care of those leads you will have to value them and you will have to make qualifying aspects to know which leads are quality and which leads are bad or one specific thing that i could tell you that will help you if you're trying to do paid ads is if you find like facebook ads library or Google Ads Library. What you want to do is to scope the people that have ads running from months on end. If they have their ads running months on end, that means it's working and it's making them money. Try studying what they do, what's their filming formula, how they film, all that. Try figuring everything out and that will help you, I guarantee. Lesson 85. Sometimes I lost nights, I won't lie. But now I know that I'm ahead of those guys that was just scratching their balls and sleeping all day. Who do you want to be? Lesson 86. The hardest thing is going from free to getting paid. Some people just can't maneuver out. Losing nights just producing value for my clients was a nightmare. I really wish sometimes I would be sleeping and stuff. But what I really noticed is it's kind of really hard to actually go from that free value point. to actually getting to a time that they pay you. And for the longest, I used to think like that, but it's not as hard. What you usually have to know is that if you're trying to send them value, eventually they're going to be searching for something that you can do that will benefit them, that can make them money so they can make money to pay you. So if you're doing something for free and that can eventually bring them money, it's kind of more easy to maneuver out of that. So if what you're doing isn't. what brings them money that might be a choice a poor choice on what your offer is you know so you bettering your offer might make it quite easier for you to actually start getting paid you know that's what worked for me i like produced three videos or four and on the fifth video like yo okay man we got a schedule we can get this going like yeah man like pay me and he did he did we Ended up splitting waste, but it actually worked for some time. Lesson 87. Having a revenue share is ideal. If business is booming, even like 2% of 50,000 is a lot of money for people like us. But make sure that it's everything transparent and it's written down like literally somewhere because you don't and you mustn't get screwed over. And it's so easy to get screwed over by these things. lesson 88 when searching for niches the more broad the niche you're looking for the more odds of them having tons of messages waiting for them to be answered lesson 89 in the first couple of dms i sent along my time in the first three times if not two times that i heard back from them i thought it was the ideal time to send them my price and my idea was might as well strike while the iron is hot you know since i get there got their attention like why not like let me just shoot the price by text and like hopefully we'll work together right but yeah most times when i shot the price or when they knew i was selling them i didn't hear back from them ever and be it inbound or be it outbound leads all respect this type of thing you know they won't pay you if they're not feeling heard or if they're not feeling like you can resolve their problem. So what I suggest you do, or what I started doing in particular, and what I'm going to suggest is basically just rephrase their problems. Don't say it in the same way, word for word, what they feel or what their problems are. Rephrase them. Try to occupy as much space, just understanding. deep diving deep down like putting in the blade on the client like just knowing that they have this this and that problem and they acknowledge it and they're sharing it with you once you say a price after sharing all that they will feel heard and this works on calls and even on texts they will feel heard and they will be more likely to accept like a thousand dollar deal than sending like a hi hey how are you then yeah man i'm good i charge one thousand dollars that's crazy bro who would pay you for that it's better you schedule a call with them let them vent you poke the bear a bit more letting them vent and understanding their pain points and like taking notes and all that and you rephrase them you know you just let them know that you heard them and I guarantee you that you will be likely to close more deals or more likely for them to actually be more accepting of your price lesson 90 I suggest you hop on calls more often because I know you might be feeling nervous but just know that the client can be feeling nervous too you know like it happens to all of us and the more you practice that bone in your body for like calls and being choppy and being fast with it it grows up on you and you just figure out that it's a skill as well like you being able to break the ice and actually conversate with them it makes a lasting experience and it's a positive experience overall lesson 91 controlling the conversation gets easier the more you do it If you just go there aimlessly and start yapping and not letting the client speak, odds are you won't close the deal. What you should do is go there, listen, break the ice, and let the client speak. Those are short points, but if you implement them, I guarantee you that the client will look at you more favorably. Lesson 92. Take notes. Lesson 93. If you don't want to write those notes personally, use an AI thing like Fathom. Lesson 94. One thing that discouraged me from the beginning is me being African. Like, I thought that me being African, I couldn't be charging people what I'm worth, you know? One thing that turns out is that people don't really care, man. Like, I say that in almost all of my videos. I don't know if my English is good. Don't think so. But I don't have an American accent. I don't have a Canadian accent. I don't have a British accent, but I can express myself enough and what makes them actually don't even care and have this person send me like $400 and have this other person send me $200. I just provide value. I know what I'm doing and I give them value. If you can do that, I don't care if you're Pakistani or if you're Chinese. Just give me value and... you will get paid. Lesson 95. I'm a really tough nut to crack when it comes to actually going out from the free version to a paid version. But sometimes it's actually worth it. I really found apps like vidIQ. I found apps like Instantly. I found really variants of apps that makes me Complacent to them and makes me see that, yo, bro, the subscription for these things is actually worth it. By just doing that, I actually decreased the time that I spend on certain tasks just by having subscriptions to things that I use and that boost my workflow. Lesson 96. Start dominating templates and plugins. this makes your job infinitely easier when you get newer clients or if you have to start something you don't have to start from completely zero if you have to do a video you know that you have a template for this type of video that you're going to make everything along those lines even if it's just putting the sounds ahead of time or putting b-roll ahead of time that will save you a lot of time lesson 97 become more social than you usually are on social media how do you use instagram me personally i just use my instagram to like contact like people i know and stuff like that and like scroll on there and watch memes and stuff like that and i'm uh i follow like xxl i follow rap i follow a ton of pages that don't have much to do with what i'm interested in in the terms of what i work but it comes to a point where i seen it in a ton of videos that they box you in into a place where you only have to interact with people that are equivalent or beneficial to your niche and forget that personal underground of me actually following 50 Cent and following Eminem and those guys and them following them too and we have two people in mutual so if I make certain references I know they would get and it becomes even crazier when you're using multiple social media because when you do have multiple social media you can be ignored by a client on your first one like instagram but if you see that he also has a tweeter as well and you play a game of like interacting in both pages eventually in one of those pages he will see it and you will start liking your back and maybe you might throw in a follow or like like your posts and that's crazy for uh credibility and seeing that you're also a person that has mutual big people following you you know they'll see that you guys have a ton of people in common and you follow somewhat the same type of people and they will decide to stick around or they will decide to like some of your picks so just do that and it's like a game changer i'm telling you lesson 98 don't think that your friends and family that are following you will change a lot on your following number and you're thinking that you're famous because you have like 300 people following you Friends and family won't even be the first clients that you might have. So you can be following friends and family, but if you see 300 and it's mostly people you know, don't see it as an achievement. I prefer seeing 100 people I don't know but follow me and engage with me as an achievement than being known by 1,000 people and not getting likes on my stuff. And that's what usually makes a difference now. If you don't have engagement, your page is probably bought it. And since it's easier to think about that in this time of age, it's what they'll assume your page is. Lesson 99. On the outreach, instead of asking them for their footage, do your best to actually find their footage yourself and edit or do whatever you're going to do with it and just send it to them while it's already done. And I know it's kind of tough, but that will give you a ton of credibility points right away. Lesson 100. I genuinely had to send over hundreds if not thousands of DMs before I started literally moving the needle and just feeling like something is working fine. But I did something that we all have the choice to do but some of us choose not doing and it was just to put in the time put in the effort and just look straight ahead and know that something is going to go right. Most of this I can acknowledge that The dip made me look at it at a different way and I will continue saying my praise for that. But I also figured out that mastery actually takes time. But how long you ask? Two months. Two months is all you need to actually land a high ticket paying client. I know this because I've been working on this same technique for over four years and actually got down to a point where I simple it down to actually being able to find clients. that make recurring income for your pocket in less than two months. So if you actually know someone who's interested in this, just feel free to send them over the first link in my description and just let them know that it's a free strategy call and it can make your life very different from how it is now.
