BIG JD 4955 STRAIGHT THROUGH EXAUST - DYNO READY!

Hence your beauty. So obviously over at Matt's yard. It's all going on. So Dan's just got the 409 out because Ginger's done one of his exhausts for it. So just going to pop that on to see what that sounds like. I'm still working on the FW. So, I mean, look at her now. She's looking sweet, isn't she? So I am on... wiring a little bit it's just like bloody raining i tell you so i don't come up in here yes it is a mess well the dash looks a mess in here um because we've got a dash up sorting out wiring so um plow lamps are i've got working indicators i've got working uh the main beam wasn't working so that's working now um i've just found out that the side well the side lights aren't working that's because of the switch so uh yeah we're getting through that getting getting things working all for the dinador and it's just lovely mate lovely it's been all right until about five minutes ago yeah so matt's 3185 um bloody weather um that needs a load of work doing on it same as mine put my hood up um same as mine is so it's getting a head exhaust manifold um because it's blowing what's is it exhaust manifolds blowing on that what else is wrong with it uh i think it's got a little slight gasket leak head gasket leak in the back corner right yeah so he knew that but now the exhaust manifold's cracked in three places yeah so yeah so it's getting head manifold and everything like yeah new head new manifold new gaskets so she'll go back on the dyno day which is in two weeks time yes this obviously this obviously can't but this will be because you bought an inappropriate tractor i bought an inappropriate tractor but it will sound nice we'll have a fired up and make some make some noise with gingers new exhaust yes talking of exhaust he's uh he's been today and he's brought straight through for mats 4 9.55 so we're gonna just uh Wait for it to stop raining and fit it. Fit it like, yeah. So, the four lines had a lot of work done on it past month or two. It's had a whole new engine rebuild. Basically, yeah. New liners, new pistons. Everything. Everything inside. It's all been stripped and fully rebuilt. New injection pump, new injectors. So she's going to go back on the dyno and see, I mean, shit, I mean, well, she's loud enough anyway with the muffler on, but God knows what, we'll find out in a minute what she's going to sound like. It was a little bit low on horsepower two years ago was the last time, I think. I can't remember what it was. I'm sure it was a little bit low on horsepower last time, wasn't it, Basil? Do you remember what it was, Basil? I thought it was about 20 horse short. Was it? Oh, right. It should be about 210 I specced, isn't it? 210, just over 200. It's 230 horsepower rated, doesn't it, like these are? Well, we'll find out in two weeks. Yeah. The 8440's got to go back on. Yes. Because she's had work done. So she should be... ITW, if it holds her long enough to make the dyno. 200 or bust, didn't you lot? Yes. Is what you're aiming for? We can keep it together George, we've got a file of time. So there's going to be some good stuff to come and have a look at. We're going to have the auction as well. Charity auction. Loads of good stuff in that game this year. Good job you can remember. so there that's the charities we're doing it in aid of hopefully we'll raise a good few quid and have a good time at the same yeah hopefully it's a dry day like so um yeah well we'll get this exhaust on shall we yes see what it sounds like yeah that's just chopping a bale so the little 3080 that's never been on the dyno you might see that on it as well lovely little tractor Sounds alright that does doesn't it? It's not as loud as I thought it would be. I thought it would be a bit poorer than that but nice. She'll sing on the old dyno. Very very nice. She'll sing on the old dyno mate wouldn't she? I think so. Sounds lovely. Alright we'll drop this bonnet down on the F-dub. Drop the step down six inches today which makes life a bit easier. What am I getting up here for? Got to push it up from the bottom to start off with. You do need to be feeling fairly strong for this. Ways a ton. Jesus. Right. That should catch. That is heavy. Right, we can now put her all the way down. Like so. Right, so the new UTV round headlights. Fully fitted. Working. Got the side lights. I may have to... put leds in them just to bring them up to the uh cool white light of the led so that's the drls on the lights at the minute so that is now dip beam on you can't see too well because we've got the floodlight on there like but um you can see see they are doing a good job interested to see what it's like when the dark see how they are angled um i'll tell you what we can do is we can just walk back here a bit see if they dazzle If they don't dazzle back here, they won't be too far off. Nope. So they're not dazzling me here, so they can't be too far off the mark, they can't. Alright, that's the plough lights on. And now we've got the main beam on. As well as these ones here, these come on with the main beam. But I mean, frankly, they are useless. Currently I can't get that type of... bulb or lens or housing whatever you want to call it in a spotlight or work light only in the headlights so uh at the minute they're stuck as they are um same as the uh as the plow lights but i have got a load of oval utvs to stick on because i mean yes i mean they look fairly bright when you look at them like that but i mean they give off very very little light so Yeah, I've got some ovals to put on at some point. Then she will be lighting up. You can see the shadow. You can see the shadow of the main beam. You can come through if you want. They're pretty bright, aren't they? They are bright. So, yeah. So what's the sort of work lights there? Well, the work lights are working. They just don't do anything. You've got to do a TV to make you some. Yeah, some of the inserts like. I've got some oval ones to put on but it would be nice to keep their original housing and have an insert. It would look very nice and be usable at night. Very smart though. They are useless. They are really useless. Does the camera show? No, the camera shows it quite white. They actually look quite yellow. Yeah, I mean, they're a yellow light, aren't they? They all are that sort of age, but yeah, they're not giving off a lot of light. No, definitely not. But the UTVs are, certainly. Yeah, main beam, I presume. That's main beam at the minute, yeah. So, yeah, pretty good. So, yeah, dyno day is coming up on the 7th of March. Yeah, we're going to have loads of... Interesting stuff. Got some of Matt's stuff like we've been through. He's putting on again because he's had work done to him. A load of different stuff coming. We're going to have some majors, classics, modern stuff, all sorts of stuff. This unfortunately won't be able to go on because she ain't got a PTO issue, but you'll be able to hear the new, what the new exhaust sounds like.
