NOT JUST A MOWER - NOW A TOOLCARRIER! - MOWRATOR S1

Howdy folks, now you remember this beast from back in the summer? Basically a miniature destroyer of the world, so remote control mower Well, it's now more than a mower, it's a tool carrier Because they're now doing things that you can bolt onto it. So yeah, we can bolt a snow plow onto her What a chunky beast this is, so everything's all now fitted, had to do a firmware update to get everything working, the camera, snow plough, all that sort of stuff. And because it hadn't been updated, a lot more features on the MoRator itself. So now, for example, you can go full speed backwards, which you couldn't do before. Plus loads of other stuff. Well, with an absence of snow, next best thing. And I did think this would be handy for this job anyway. We're going to push the silage up with it, or going to try at least. We'll see how we get on. Here we go. You can see a lovely clear footage from the onboard monitor. So you can do it from quite a way away. What we're going to do, as soon as we're going to be pushing silage, we'll see if we can... I won't see if we can, we'll offset the blade. We'll go down like so. So, yeah, we can have that. Offset and press C1 lifts it up and down so that lifts it basically goes all the complete stroke so all the way up or all the way down unless you stop it so you stop it and it'll stop and it'll go the other way obviously we're going to want this all the way down we'll see how we get on don't panic cows I sometimes do push this in by by hand with a hand scraper and it's fairly hard work The blade's not a big enough angle but she's just ploughing. Just ploughing through. Cows are a little bit wary but they're not too bothered. They're like, what is this strange little thing? Of course you see a lot of these on a lot of modern dairy farms you'll have robots that actually push up on their own. There's only a case of getting used to it. They have seen the mower before when I've been mowing. A bit of a dip there, there is. Plenty of pushing power. Well the chunky little thing she boffs that, we'll give her a little bit of a wash off now. Right so with the continued absence of snow I've performed a little modification to the snow power on the old mo-rater and fitted a two foot scraper blade, you know a handheld scraper blade to the front to see what should be like scraping up and the answer is for a quick 10 minute bodge job if you will pretty blooming good i need to mount the scraper a little bit lower just so i can put a bit more pressure on if i need look at that she's got some she's got some pushing power yeah but it's smooth now we can go high speed boom just like that i'm gonna have a quick cleanup of the yard though yeah it's a lot quicker than i could do it with a hand scraper yes obviously we've got you know big scraper like but certainly will come in useful and it could easily take a much bigger scraper. It could easily have a four foot scraper on this so it's a bit more efficient. Alright so a question for you guys now, what other uses do you reckon I could put this to? Even if that means modifying the front end to have a different sort of detachment on there, what would you use it for? I mean, other than the fact it's very useful, it is also damn good fun. It really is good fun. So the beauty of it now is that it's obviously no longer just a mower, it is a tool carrier. It's doing a good job. Need to go bigger I think. Also I think, need a name for it now, rather than just the mowerator, what can we call it? So there's two questions there, what can we call it and what other jobs can you think, do you reckon it'd be good for? or what other bits should I put on the front. I think I will invest in some off-road tyres because it's obviously got grass tyres on it at the minute. So there's an off-road tyre option, give it a bit more traction. Yeah, I mean, it's got a tonne of pushing power. A tonne of pushing power. I'm just wondering whether I could ride it. I think that'd be a bit dangerous. There's no real... I reckon I'd fall off if I... I've tried riding it but yeah it didn't took long to clean this bit of yard has it like? Like I say I think a lot quicker than I would do it by hand. Like I say with Advin I think you know two of them scrapers together or just a big four footer should cope with that quite well on this sort of job. You could just see this will get a little chunky. Gee that was a little chunky. What is it big man eh? What do you reckon that is? A little chunky. It's alright, I wanna get that down that drain. There's a trouble when it's water like that, even like the little tractor-mounted scraper, the main one, that will bounce when doing bits like this where it's just water and there's too much grit from the concrete. So you need to go a bit slower or it's more weight basically. See, it's trying to do it, but that's no surprise. There we go fast. Get a bit of a tidal wave. We're losing a bit anyway. Give the cow some entertainment. Hey, Chunky. We'll give it one more pass. Take another load with this dry little heat that we're making. Got to be a good one. Go on then. That has got some go in it. Well, there we go. That was a bit of fun. It is good fun. That is the bonus of it like. But yeah, I mean, that's done. done a good job there, what's that, took 10 minutes, something like that, 5-10 minutes, not a lot long at all anyway, so yeah so give us a name, if you can think of a name for the MoRator and yeah any more, what can I put on the front now, we've got the ability to go up and down with that little servo actuator there like, so yeah what tools can we put on the front and a name, so anyway we enjoyed that little vid. I don't think we are certainly nothing I'm gonna see any snow to test it this year or not till the end of this year anyway, so Yeah, and a little bit of kit. I'll see on the next one. That's our
