Milwaukee

Makita?)

How are we doing? So, we're a bit of a rig today. It's the first time the Fast Track has been on a video for absolutely ages. I can't remember the last time Fast Track was on a video. Oh, dyno I suppose, when we had the flat batteries. Do you remember I put them battery isolators on? Well, they're still working fine. And some of the criticism wore, the worry some of you had in the comments about them, you know, sort of thumbwheel type isolators, do they rattle loose when, you know, like now when we're using it sort of thing? The answer is no. You can really nip them up, you know, finger tight, but you can still nip them up and You know, it's not like nipping up a, you know, a 19mm metric bolt on a nut on a bolt. These sort of really, you know, you can put like a turn on them. You know, when they get sort of, they pinch a bit, then you can still put another turn on them. So, yeah, they really do stay well connected. Well, that's what I've done, anyway. But anyway, yeah, what the hell have we got in front? Well, what we're on today is... Richard's out with the sprayer spraying some of the meadows a ways away like from the farm so he needs a bit of water we've got on the back he needs one load of water so in theory we could have had the front tank on obviously I was playing with that the weekend like so but we've also got a bit of fence repair to do so the thing on the front here is a post knock-up so we've got a corner post to knock in, so a big post, hence we've got the knocker. We've also got some rails and stuff to put up on the pen, so hence why I haven't got the front tank, because we haven't got it quite sorted yet, like the pipe front and all that sort of stuff for transferring. But yeah, we've got the water trailer on the back, we've got the rails Yeah, the fencing rail's in there, like, so we're doing two jobs with one connie, like, you know. Which is good. It's been working well, like, you know. Running that front pump on that front tank. That was Saturday I was doing that. Run that quite nicely. So we'll see how it handles the post-locker. It's really sort of made it a lot more useful. And it's been just over a year since Russell Fast Track put his electric spool valve conversion kit in. And we put the front buttons on the front so you can now adjust the linkage. So handy. So handy for hooking stuff on the front. Like really handy. I think I may invest in a set of double-actin rams. Get a couple of double-actin rams for it. It'll just make going down a bit easier, because obviously it's two-way hydraulics, but they're only single-acting ram, so I have to bounce on the linkage to get them to go down. So whereas if they're double-acting, obviously you can just power them down, lift them up and that lot. So I think that'll be a worthwhile investment lot, just make it even easier to use lot. So, yeah, anyway, we'll get to the field and see what's what. I'm not looking forward to betting. Maybe wanna... I don't think that's far out. It's maybe looking a little bit towards the road. No. No, it'd be leaning the right way, wouldn't it, lot? Yeah. Yeah, it's going. Well, it ain't gonna go far now, is it, lot? Yeah. Yeah. Oh, bloody hell. That'll hold the gate up. yeah we're nearly we're at the bottom of the tape so we've got a fair bit underground that do then yeah i'll get it back on there we go and that was straight on top of the old rotten post so that that was not bad at all i've got to get it go battered yet blooming thing don't want to go back at the minute yeah that's something we've got to look at it's um struggling to select reverse sometimes that's the second time that's happened I presume it's the little air rams under the cab. So we'll have to have a look at that. Don't want that asshole. Anyway, post is in so we can re-hang the gate and all that. Then we can go and look at the pen. Right, that gate's all hung now. I have recently gone over to the dark side. Well, the red side. Actually, when I was at the dough show, I got tempted by this combi set here. So drill driver. impact, spare battery, all for a good price. So I'm now blue, yellow and red. I've got a lot, got a lot. But these are some really nice tools, this Milwaukee stuff. I should be getting some more red stuff as well. So yeah, I do like my tools. Yeah, it worked well on there as well. It's quite, I mean, it's not got a huge amount of adjustment. You've got obviously in and out via the top link. And you've got left and right from here with this. You steer that, is it that one? No, sorry, it's that one. So you have got that one as well as your top link for in and out. This one here does left to right. So you've got a bit of adjustment, but you've got to get it fairly bang on. But it is a fair old weight lot. And it will put, you know, it will launch a post in. Like I say, I think, what's that, about four feet in? Something like that, over an old rotten post. So, yeah, it's got some whack about it. I'm just going to put the post knocker in its lock position. There we go. Good job done, that is. Ready for little effers when they come out. Effers tend to go in there. They tend to have a few cows with them just to keep them on the straight and narrow until they get used to it. But yeah, it'll be good to, I think next week we'll have them out, like, you know. Cows are out, I can't remember if I've said previously, cows are out all the time now. I've been for a week, maybe a bit more than a week. So, but the one thing that always comes back to, the one thing we do want is some rain now, you know. That's the law, isn't it, like? I don't think we've had any sort of rain for about three weeks now. Everywhere's getting dry. Grass is still... It's just chugging along, you know, just about, but it'll soon, it'll soon slow up. It is, mate, thanks for stopping in the, stopping the narrowest bit. That's a car drive for you. Yeah, it's getting to the point where we're going to need, need some, need some rain fairly, well, yeah, I mean, we're fairly desperate. I mean, I think a lot of folks are like, well, it's proper rape there. really see much rape growing around here now just because you can't control the flea beetle like but there's a few folks starting to have a go again like and that's a nice looking prop I'm gonna preempt some comments because I would assume some people will say well you've got a massive blind spot in front of you now but it's no worse than having you know than driving for TW25 for example having an exhaust coming out of the bonnet. No different to that really. And I can see over where the little ram is there. You've got the cutout at the top. Well, I can see over that. So the camera's a little bit lower than I am, so you probably won't see over that. But yeah, it's no different than having an exhaust on the bonnet. So the linkage mode, see how slow it is just because they're single acting. I mean, around that size wouldn't be too much to get built anyway i wouldn't have thought so have to have a look at that all right so i'm just scrolling through forward neutral and reverse it worked fine initially now that's reverse nothing neutral nothing for the forward has gone in now neutral has gone in so is reverse neutral no forward this time It's asking for it. Yeah, it's asking for it on the dash. It's obviously gone in now, but it hasn't confirmed it's gone in. Neutral's gone in. No reverse. So what is that then? It's obviously not an air leak. Yeah. Yeah, see how thing goes there? But why is it sometimes? It's not an air leak, obviously. Yeah. It's a bit intermittent. The fault is TO46. which it comes up it's come up with for quite a while like but never never failed to um engage forward or reverse like but uh yes twice it's uh it's not going into reverse out and you know out and out and about but obviously it's as i've just been testing it here it's uh um it's been going in forwards as well so it's going fine there fine it's gone into high there but it hasn't registered it gone into neutral but hasn't registered it hasn't gone into reverse at all and it has registered neutral hmm that's interesting one any ideas um yeah i don't want that i don't want to get stuck in reverse not being able to get reverse because normally when you want reverse you can't go you can't go forwards can you so uh yeah we'll have to have a look at that anyway i hope you enjoyed that little vid catch you on the next one Ciao, ciao.
